*4pm check in is much too late in the afternoon, we wasted an entire day because of this. * It took 2 hours to check in and we were then put into the wrong room and had to be moved. * Although most staff members were very nice there was absolutely no sense of urgency, everything took twice as long as it needed to which meant we had less time to do the things we wanted. Jose and Theresa specifically were quite unhelpful and did not listen to a single concern. * The air-conditioner in our room constantly turned itself on and off and the motor was very loud which would wake me up many times a night. Once I became fed up with being awake at 3am the solution was to turn it off (in the middle of a heatwave!) and move me in the morning. I had already been moved and was not willing to risk being in an even worse room so I had zero sleep on my first holiday in 3 years! * Keys to the room constantly locked us out, even when we made every attempt to keep it separate from our other key-cards and phones. If the key-cards are going to be this sensitive then you need to provide something to store it in that is more than a piece of paper. * Location was very average, requiring us to get taxi's everywhere. Obviously we had some idea from research but this needs to be better advertised. * Airport shuttle is twice the amount of a taxi.

I have had better service in every 5 euro hostel i visited in South America… I had to ask 3 times and wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes (at 12PM) for sheets, pillows and everything before i could sleep. No compensation in form of free breakfast or anything. Super sad to see from an overpriced “4 star” hotel. I will sleep in the airport next time 🙃

Fantastic service, walked us to our room and opened the shop for me around 5am to buy some water. The club lounge was also very good. Good variety of snacks, plus wine and beer, in a comfortable setting overlooking the pool.

The service was good... Staff was very friendly and very helpful. I love the fact that the hotel is just next to the airport, but it's just noisy. The bed was comfy. The buffet food was nice variety of food and drinks.

The rooms are good but outdated. The area around the pool is nice, but very noisy from the highway next to it. The service, especially on the bar was very poor. I waited 20min to get a simple bottle of water, and got ignored where I was seated. The lifts are slow, good to have sofas next to it for waiting. In general the hotel is very noisy, I found no silent place for a short business meeting. Music and crowd everywhere. Menu is very meat based, for vegetarians there are no choices but salads. Standard breakfast, scrambled eggs were made from powder. The location of the hotel is quite far away from everything. I walked ~20min from Metro station. I would not recommend this hotel unless you have something to do in this area.

Hotel was overrun by a convention group. Pool closed early. Restaurant was closed due to group dinner. Lounge was packed. General service levels were poor. I stayed at The Ivens in the city earlier in the month. The service was five star. Same Marriott organization but vastly different level of professionalism and pride in service. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Great hotel! Close to the airport, a little further to the city center but a can or Uber takes you there very fast. The lobby is just outstandingly pretty with all the marble. The bar, restaurant and pool area are really lovely too! I completely loved the breakfast, especially the pancake machine! The rooms were as good as you can always expect from Marriott. We were lucky because we got one that was recently renovated. One of the best shower experiences of my life. Really, I imagined myself in a spa. The view on the pool was great, gave us even more of a holiday vibe! 100% recommend this place!

Overall had a pleasant stay on this hotel. The room is large and has a nice balcony. The passage of time is beginning to show on the corridors and on the old carpet floor. However it is very tidy and comfortable. The breakfast room is a bit confused and did not had too much variety but the food that was there was tasty.

Hotel itself is very nice. Most staff are helpful and the food is good. I would not recommend staying here until they change the electronic key system. We were locked out of our room multiple times because the keys demagnetized. Reminder to management - the point of having a key to your hotel room is it allows you to get into your room each time.

Other than that, standard Marriott : great facilities, well maintained and decorated with taste (mostly). Service also very nice and friendly. The food menu has lots of option in addition to the buffet. The pool area is a nice hangout spot. The location is not great because you have to do everything by car or walk on very large and not pedestrian friendly roads.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Great facilites, clean, tasty breakfasts, although better variety would help. Nice pool in the garden. Special thank you to Kristina from Executive Lounge. She has provided absolutely top notch service during our stay, always polite and friendly. I would recommend this hotel and will return in my next trip to Lisbon. :)

I do not recommend this hotel. The location is near the highway surrounding the city so it’s loud at night. Also to go to the center you need to take the taxi (which is cheap) or walk 45’. The rooms are spacious and neat but on a 6 day stay I had to change 3 times my card to enter my room because it didn’t work anymore. Once I went to the fitness and all machines were not usable because the power was out apparently. When I told the staff at the desk front they just “thanked me for letting them know”. Cocktails are bad. One night the fire alarm went on from 3am to 4am. They didn’t know how to stop it. The sound was terrible and when I asked the day after they said the water system broke. The picture is in the lobby the day after. I asked for compensation they gave me 20% off for that night so I paid 150€ for a horrible night. Finally some staff is friendly but not all of them.

Tried to tell me I booked my room from April 1-11 whenever it was only 2 nights (April 1-3). They told me at check in what day of the week I was checking out on which tracked with April 3. Sent me a bill after I had checked out and already received a bill. I told them their error and nothing happened. Would avoid this hotel at all costs, now I’ll have to deal with it through a fraud charge on my credit card.

Very nice hotel, but the location is a bit unfortunate. If you are not a soccer fan, or you are there for business in the area, you are quite far out from where the main tourist attractions of the city are. Taxis needs to be ordered, as there are not many driving around this hotel area, as compared to the city. There is a train connection you can catch into the city, but it takes you 10 minutes by foot to reach either station, which is unmanned.

We loved this hotel. Very close to the airport and the service and level of appointment was top notch. We ordered room service and our meals came quickly and they were delicious. The portions were huge and they were priced the same as in the dining room, which was perfect for two weary travellers that just wanted to crack open a bottle of wine and enjoy a great meal in our room watching the huge TV. We will certainly return to this amazing hotel

Came here a few days before going on the Dave Koz Cruise. It gets three starts for the service. The people who work at this Marriott are very friendly and I’d stay here again. From the outside, this hotel doesn’t look all that. It certainly is an older hotel, but it was very clean and well kept. So why am I giving it 3 stars? Well the elevators in the lobby were consistently down. Many of us had to use the freight elevators (located in the laundry rooms) pretty embarrassing. Secondly, while service was good. I left very unimpressed by their breakfast and dinner selections. It’s just my belief, you spend a certain amount of money in an establishment. It must come through.

Staff were ok a bit slow during check in process, they also over charged me because I had a free upgrade to club level and didn’t realize but asked to purchase the club lounge and they charged for that but I was to tired to argue after a long flight. Club lounge was OK nothing special really didn’t need it and the evening snacks were the best. Otherwise location is good and rooms are nice. Room service was very yummy!

Came to edit my initial review. The room we initially were given was not great but we spoke to a friendly receptionist Thiago Carvalho who was amazing and him trying to find a solution has changed our whole experience around. I do hope the hotel invests in the older rooms as the bathroom we had in our first room was absolutely shocking. The other amenities are great! The pool is wonderful. The staff great! I cannot recommend the deluxe rooms however - they are not to a 4 star standard.

I stayed for 7 nights and I was really happy to have stayed here. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything you need (fridge, iron, etc). The staff were really welcoming and often went beyond my expectations to be extra helpful. In addition the breakfast was delicious and also suitable for vegetarians. Although the Hotel is a little outside the city there are good train and Bus connections. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Traveled here for vacation, short two day stay to start off the Portugal trip. Hotel is located not too far from the airport - about 20 to 25 minutes so a nice place to stay between airport and downtown Lisbon. Also about a 15 minute walk to the train station (not too bad, but some uphill/downhill). Parking can be a pain, there is some limited street parking but better to be safe and just don't have a car in Lisbon, Uber and public transit work well enough. The lobby is decently sized but fairly busy - the hotel is fairly large with quite a bit of floors and there are always people coming and going. Check-in was a bit slow which always happens in hotels outside the US (why do we need to sign so many things). The room is decently sized, with a small balcony and nice view outdoors. Will be very comfortable for a few night stay. Wifi worked well, water was not as hot which required a few calls, but otherwise the stay was pleasant. Club lounge was small, but we'll appointed. Lots of great snacks, some nice free drinks, and easily accessible near the lobby. Now breakfast - one of the best I've had in Europe. Highly recommend it - made to order omelets, great pastries, probably over 100 items.

Stayed at the Lisbon Marriott Hotel for a PMI leadership meeting and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The service was impeccable and the rooms were cleaned every day. I had a room with an amazing view, air conditioning, iron, and working desk. The hotel staff was courteous and professional, and the daily housekeeping services were top-notch. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities that I needed for a productive stay. Overall, I would highly recommend the Lisbon Marriott Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Lisbon.

The hotel was amazing. The closeness to the airport amazing. The club lounge amazing . The bar drinks amazing. Hidden fees NOT amazing When we arrived it was three adults and a king size bed we were fine with that. The gent said you should get a roller bed. We said okay. Nobody told us until check out it’s $35 for the bed.

This stay was part of a business trip, and while the conference room facilities were nice, and it was well-catered, there was a MAJOR fire alarm issue during our entire stay. There was a fire alarm that woke up multiple floors of the hotel every day in a row for 3 days, and then multiple alarms in the middle of the day, while we were in conferences. This was a serious disruption to our event, as every person in our group came from a long distance (USA, Canada, India, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, England, Switzerland), and many of us were already struggling with jet lag and time zones. The alarms during the middle of the day disrupted our precious meeting time. We get to work together for 2.5 days out of the entire year, and being disrupted was a severe inconvenience.

In August 2023, my husband and I had the pleasure of spending my birthday in Europe and one of the most wonderful places that we visited was Lisbon, Portugal. It was amazing! We are frequent travelers and we have experienced and visited wonderful places however, Lisbon ranked as one of our favorites. Not only was the country beautiful and people very friendly and welcoming but what made it even more special was the staff at the Marriott Hotel in Lison. I can't say enough about the staff!! They were all amazing and attentive and it was so naturally and freely given. I can't name everyone but Nadia, in Guest Relations; Tiago, front desk, Daniel, the concierges, everyone in the restaurant and housekeeping etc. (I'm sorry if I forget anyone) - they were beyond Fantastic! We were so pleased with the service that we received, and they went above and beyond every day!! And the rooms were absolutely beautiful and clean, the food in the restaurant was great. I'm not one who share posts, but I wanted to share with everyone how great this hotel and staff are and how they made my birthday so AMAZING!!! Thank you for everything, Kim B.

Staff was lovely. Very accommodating. I got hungry just as breakfast was closed and restaurants not open yet and they accommodated me so nicely. I ordered room service to the bar and all was well. Rooms are ok. Nice pool. Location not great unless you have a car. It’s a long15-20minute walk to the metro

Outstanding service at the Lisbon Marriott, very impressed by the friendly, attentive and flexible staff who really go the extra mile. The hotel is high quality, the only disappointment is the location which is a little stranded between busy roads with little to see or do in walking distance. However a quick taxi ride takes you into Lisbon so this can still be a good base to explore. Food is good hotel standard, rooms comfortable and clean. Thoroughly recommended.

Hotel staff are so friendly and always helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious with an amazing open view to the city or to the swimming pool. Housekeeping is much better than lots of places that I have visited specially with the small details… However… I was disappointed when they refused to keep a package for one of my friends to pickup after my check out due to Covid.

Great service and comfortable rooms. I was there for business and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, and always happy to help with last-minute requests. The meeting rooms on the lobby level and lower level are a good size, and we were able to add our own branding and signage to make everything look great. The restaurant has buffet and a la carte options, and the food is good. I can't really comment on the location since i didn't get a chance to explore the city sadly, but for business it's well situated since its only about 15 mins by taxi from the airport.

We stayed 2 nights here, nice and comfortable staying, the room was clean. Variety of food for the breakfast buffet, i like the almond milk so much, the taste was so pure; add on the Indian style fried egg, that’s so special. Overalls the food was up to the level.

I was there for a special occasion, a private celebration. They knew how many people there will be, and they should have experience to calculate approximately how much drinks they should have. They did not! It is not acceptable to find out in the middle of the evening that there is no more beer, the most common normal lager beer was out. And they were not able to get any, the waiter and waitress went out looking for some more, but came back empty handed. And they call themselves a 5 star hotel.

The rooms are very confortable, the hotel is well renovated and everything is very modern now. In terms of location, the hotel is not close to the hot spots but Uber/Taxi is very cheap and it takes 15 minutes to go to the main attractions. About the service, I left the hotel today and I have an unconfortable situation with one of the person of front desk named Nuno Monteiro, he was very aggresive after I asked just a question during the check out.

My recent stay at the Marriott in Lisbon, Portugal, was nothing short of exceptional, offering a perfect base for exploring the city's treasures. Prime Location: Positioned as an ideal jump-off point for sightseeing, the hotel's proximity to efficient train transport links makes navigating the city a breeze. A quick 20-minute ride to downtown and an easy 50-minute journey to Sintra make it the perfect hub for your Lisbon adventures. Concierge Excellence: The concierge team stood out as true ambassadors of hospitality, providing invaluable guidance and recommendations. Their assistance was a key factor in making my trip seamless and memorable. Local Experiences: Embrace the vibrant spirit of Lisbon with nearby attractions and cultural experiences. Whether it's savoring local cuisine or immersing yourself in the city's rich history, the hotel's strategic location ensures you're never far from the heart of Lisbon's charm. In conclusion, the Marriott in Lisbon goes beyond being just a place to stay; it's a gateway to the authentic and enchanting experiences that make Lisbon a must-visit destination. I highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers seeking a perfect blend of convenience and local immersion.

It was not the best Marriott experience and we decided to leave after an hour to switch to the Lisbon Sheraton hotel. This was the best decision of our trip as the Sheraton was excellent in all possible areas. Regarding this Marriott property: Upon arrival (as Bonvoy Gold member), we approached the Bonvoy check-in counter, only to be redirected to the regular counter where there was a significant queue. We strongly felt that the staff member at the Bonvoy Elite counter did not perceive us as loyal Marriott customers. We never encountered this behaviour before. At the regular check-in counter, there was no warm greeting or assistance. We were met with a grumpy attitude, and our inquiries went unanswered. It was only later, via the chat service, that we received a response regarding the availability of an upgrade. Once in the room, it became evident that it was outdated and noisy. The hotel is clearly in need of renovation. We ultimately decided to check out and moved to the Sheraton. Everything at the Sheraton was exceptional, and we were so satisfied that we even extended our stay by an extra night. Without exception, the staff at the Sheraton were outstanding and went above and beyond. Your Marriott venue could learn a great deal from them. They really know how to let a guest feel welcome and appreciated.

I was given a room in this hotel from the airline due to missed connection. The room was soon poor, damaged in several points and the bath tub was also broken. No hot water. This is the treatment this hotel thinks appropriate to reserve to its customers, when they cannot complain by blocking the payment: they take advantage of customers. Stay away.

This hotel was incredible. Not the accommodations - they were what you would expect from any quality hotel. But the PEOPLE who work here are amazing. From the incredibly helpful concierge and bell staff, to the amazing people in the restaurant (where the food is first rate BTW), first rate. From the moment we stepped through the door, dressed in ratty clothing, worn out from travel the red carpet was rolled out for us and we were taken care of. This place is a credit to the brand, and a model for any other fine hotel to emulate.

We had a beautiful stay! Thank you for making our stay extra special - of Note Ms Paula the manager went out of her way and Ms Olen at the front desk was super sweet! Mr Abdul Allam is hands down the nicest and most resourceful concierge helping us on multiple fronts - private tour guide, car rental and so much for! Thank you for your patience and kindness! Daniel Preira w also thank you for your support!! So appreciated!!

Very convenient, a bit pricey for the quality. Pretty good food options, but the staff gets flustered easily, though they make up for in once addressed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would stay again. Very close to the airport and Uber and taxi service is consistent. Very close to icste and other universities.

Titanium elite member, came to stay for one night with my family. Room and hotel seemed nice at first which is just proof that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. The air conditioner didn’t work, it was very hot. TVs didn’t work either; one didn’t turn on at all and the other had about three channels with signal. Safe didn’t work. Bath had water pressure equivalent to a leaky faucet. The shower was tiny and water flowed out the door like a fountain. Overall the room was clean, though. Staff was nice. Did not enjoy the fact that we had to keep calling the front desk as we were only staying for one night between flights and just wanted to relax.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. They compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you for sure will love it I'm sure! Marriott hotel Lisbon is a nice and beautiful place. The staff are very cordial and we'll cultured. The meals are very good and the environment is clean. I will visit again Insha Allah.

Stayed for one week for a conference at the nearby University in mid-July. Rooms were clean and comfortable, mostly-updates with excellent air conditioning and a great shower. Service was good and the staff at the bar/restaurant were great to chat with. It is a bit far out of the main attractions in the city - I mostly relied on taxi or Uber to get around - but very much exceeded my expectations.

This hotel is a perfect base to see Lisbon. It's already our second stay and we will be back for sure. The staff is young and super professional. The room is huge and has big windows, so at least, the rooms that face the pool are really sunny! The bed is legit one of the best ones I've ever slept on. So absolutely no complaints on that, of course, super clean all around! The breakfast is one of the best points of the hotel. You can fill up there and go about your day with all the choices they have! The only if is the location and that the building needs some updating, however none of this makes you have a bad experience, the bolt/Uber to the nearest metro station is around 3/4€ or a nice 10 minute walk. All in all amazing hotel, nice location and amazing service! A huge thank you to the whole team!! 😊

A wonderful Lisbon / Benfica hotel. Came here for the European championship game and so pleased I choose the Marriott. Top location for Benfica stadium, the University and hospital. 10 minute walk and 10 minute Metro ride to old town Lisbon. Great hotel, lovely room, superb service and at a nice price. On my special requests box I asked for; 1. Highest room level available. Got the 15th out of 17 floors... tick ✔️ 2. Quiet room away from elevator. Got the last room at the end of the corridor... tick ✔️ 3. Best views available. Got an amazing view over the city... tick ✔️ What more vould you ask for?! Then found out that my very fair priced room included access to the Executive Lounge, with free food and drinks from 7am to 11pm, what a result. After a great night's sleep in a super comfy bed and silent room, we found breakfast to be superb. Huge choice, top quality and many items cooked to order. Highly highly recommended.

My stay at Marriott Hotel in Lisbon was amazing! The room had a great view over Lisbon. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast is the best I had in a long time. Awful treatment and in my case, due to the fact that I am Titanium Elite member, is even more inconvenient. Only two days but enough to have experience the worst stay in a Marriott around the world. It happened that at 16.00 in the afternoon , coming back from a city we found the room still not arranged. I had my credit card blocked for several days due to the fact that they forgot to cancel the preauthorization payment after the check out. The manager of the Lounge was the unpleasant and less professional I met.

Wonderful food - both the breakfasts and the buffet lunches/dinners really nice. Some staff were lovely too, Jessica especially. This would have given the review 5 stars...BUT... Rooms were dated, the air con was just plain annoying, and given it's location they really need to invest in proper double glazing. No sockets in the bathroom and the room amenities weren't the best. Overall a good stay but some elements for improvement. I would stay again!

Check in and check out was incredibly slow. There are a lot of hotel employees loitering about, but only one manning the front desk. Rooms were nicely apportioned and clean. Location is in a business area, but not too far from tourist areas by cab.

We stayed there 2 times, the first one was in the 4th floor, the pressure of the shower was really good, the bed was comfortable. In the second time we stayed at the 14th floor, the shower didn't have pressure, the bed was very uncomfortable. Besides that the breakfast is amazing and the staff there is very friendly.

This hotel was very comfortable for us to arrive to after a long transatlantic flight. The staff are attentive, the rooms clean, and the amenities excellent. The only detractor is the the distance from most things. This is a fantastic location to and from the airport. Most other things requires a taxi or an extended walk. The best part of this hotel is the really convenient parking deck below the hotel. It is incredibly easy to use and the valet is top notch. If you have a rental for Portugal I would absolutely stay here and just Uber or taxi for the day. It made our stay very easy for the first leg in the country.
