Beautiful Hotel! My husband and I stayed there for 5 days. The location is perfect, it is at the center of everything (good restaurants, coffee shops, souvenirs shops, stores, grocery stores, museums, metro, etc). The staff is kind and will help you at ANY time! The room was nice and always clean. Their breakfast is worth the try and their day/night menu is delicious👌🏾 Thank you so much!

Location is amazing, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is good though nothing extraordinary. There is a very nice bar with live music. Rooms are spacious enough to feel comfortable with a large and super comfortable bed. Everything is clean, modern and well designed

Located in the old town Baixa area of Lisbon, Hotel da Baixa is an amazing hotel. Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and also has a good bar and restaurant. Rooms are clean and bed very comfortable. I will definitely look to stay here again next time in Lisbon Oh the staff went above and beyond to make me feel special. There were pastel da nata waiting in the room when we checked in, a rose with greetings on Valentine's day. And specially delivered donut for my birthday 😍

Great hotel with great service, just 30 minute metro ride from the airport. For the location I would give 7/5; just two blocks away from the main walking street so its quiet enough even on a busy weekend. The metro is 2 minute walk and the old city is almost across the street. You can find plenty of places to eat and shop around here. The hotel staff is friendly, professional and ready to help with anything you need. There is a cozy library/lounge area and a bar with a street view.

This hotel is absolutely perfect. The staff are SO kind and hospitable, excellent service from start to finish. The decor is stunning. The rooms are impeccably clean and I am super picky after staying in many hotels. The location is 100% the best right amongst all the restaurants and bars, walking distance to everything you need. Highly recommend.

It was a great stay. Rooms are very comfy, quiet and the AC works fantastic. The bed and pillows are amazing. The technology in the room is outstanding as you can turn on/off all the different lights from your night table including a total black out electric shade. I had the pleasure to be assisted by Andrea and Pedro and they did a great job for me to feel at home. I really recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with professional staff. Melanie at the reception was attentive, nice and helpful during our stay. The location could not have been better, the hotel is right in the hearth of the city. Our room was modern with comfortable bed and large bathroom. Breakfast offered good variety of food, we had everything for a great start of the day. We definitely recommend Hotel da Baixa to everyone who would stay couple of days in Lisbon.

My mother and I stayed at Hotel da Baixa a few weeks ago and it was a nice stay. Everyone was so accommodating and very nice. Unfortunately, I must say that the food was not the best and the room was small. The rooms have large bathrooms which takes away from the bedroom.

Worth every penny we spend. The room is clean and the size is acceptable (Considered big in the area). The staff are very attentive and helpful. They even whatapps us before we arrive! Thumbs up to the staff !

This hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent because it’s in a flat area walking distance to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. I enjoyed the breakfast that was included. I had a salad with the most delicious olive oil, fresh papaya fruit, kiwi, toast and butter. They also had cereals and dried fruit. I tried the vegetable tempura at the bar and it was average (too much breading not enough flavor). The shower was a bit small and my parents who paid the same price had one double the size (and a bigger room). It may be worth asking beforehand to have a larger shower/room. As far as the rooms go there were really clean, they had smart plugs, a nice hair dryer, toiletries, shoe mitts, Christmas ornaments (complimentary), two windows that opened, all white beautiful bathroom and an AC unit in the room. The decor in the hotel was amazing. They had a cute library area downstairs. The elevators were quick and efficient. If you make a left out of the hotel you get to the main square where you can grab a tuk tuk. I took one up to Castle S Gorge (also walking distance but up a huge hill) the castle was $10 to get into and had lovely views. Overall I would highly recommend staying in this boutique yet high tech hotel.

Really liked this hotel, very clean and comfortable and the location is great for doing tourist stuff. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby, and only a 5 min walk from the ocean. Price was also good compared to a lot of other places in Lisbon.

Excellent location! In the nice area of Lisbon, with wide streets. Stylish hotel! Great service! I didn’t like the breakfast though since it didn’t really have any vegan options, but was happy that the manager refunded me the money for the breakfast. Nice to have free water and cakes at the reception.

Such a lovely hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very nice and clean! Our bathroom is big and 2 people can shower at the same time as there is one big rainshower in the ceiling and two normal shower heads! When we arrived they helped us park our car and with our luggage. We reserved our room without breakfast so I can’t say anything about it except I passed the restaurant and it looked really good! But there are many nice places around the hotel and we wanted to try different portugese food while we’re here. The location of this hotel is perfect and the building is beautiful! It used to be a pharmacy and apartments earlier and they kept a lot of the old beautiful interiors when they renovated 5 years ago. We are very happy with our stay here and would gladly come again!

I have had the pleasure of staying at Hotel da baixa three times and they continue to deliver excellent service. The staff is extremely accommodating and thoughtful. I planned a trip for my husband's birthday and was dissatisfied with our room. They were able to quickly move us to a larger room without hesitation. They also provided a cake for my husband's birthday and made dinner reservations at one of the best sushi restaurants in Lisbon. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The hotel is located in a convenient location to all major tourists attractions and easily accessible by train and bus if choosing to venture further into Lisbon. The hotel bar is beautiful and offers outstanding cocktails. The bartender made one of the best old fashions we have ever had. I could not ask for a better experience in Lisbon and plan to return soon.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location to walk everywhere. Spacious lovely room. Very quiet. Comfortable bed, pillows, bedding. Large gorgeous bathroom with amazing shower. Highly recommend. Staff could be more friendly, other than the young man who checked me in who was very welcoming and helpful.

Staff was very professional and helpful and they upgraded our room prior to arrival. The room was very spacious and nicely appointed with amenities. The location is great and makes it very easy to walk or take the metro to all the sights. It is located on a pedestrian only street so it is very quiet at night. Surrounded by plenty of restaurants including their own, which we did not get a chance to try, but the menu looked great. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Fantastic hotel right in the centre of Baixa old town. Very clean & immaculately presented. The staff were all excellent & friendly… with special thanks to Miguel in the bar whose service was exceptional (we did use his sevices a lot 😃). Highly recommended.

The service at this hotel was amazing! The staff was super friendly and helped us get acclimated to the city. They always had recommendations for what we were looking to do. The room was perfect size for a city hotel with a great upgraded bathroom. The location was right where you need to be without feeling too busy.

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Great location to everything. Beautifully decorated. Very chic/ boutique style. Great breakfast buffet. William in the restaurant was friendly and professional. We stayed in room 405. Large room with large bathroom, very long balcony with three French door windows. We had four rooms total. All eight of us are world travelers and very happy with the service and accommodations. Concierge will assist with recommendations and help with bookings for day trips and restaurants. We celebrated a big birthday and the gourmet donut and bottle of champagne with sweet note greeted us in our room upon arrival. Duarte made delicious drinks for us at the bar Senastiao for happy hour. We highly recommend this hotel. Book with confidence.

Excellent location in Lisbon, close to everything. Rooms are nice and cozy. Best of all is the service from staff at the lobby, very helpful to make sure our stay was memorable. They contacted us since the minute we booked to ask about our trip and suggest things to do. They helped out with the booking and all the recommendations were right on: local, authentic, simply a great experience. We will definitely stay there next time we visit Lisbon. Big thanks to the staff at Hotel da Baixa for a wonderful time!!

My wife, young son, and I stayed here for almost a week and had a fantastic time. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel itself is in the heart of the historic district and is in walking distance from restaurants and historic sites. It's also just a minute or 2 from public transportation, a taxi stand, and tuk tuk tours.. You can easily get anywhere you need to quickly. The staff, the comfort, and the location could not be better!

Great Hotel in a Great Location! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room was nice and was quiet. Really luxurious bedding. A classy property, recently refurbished. Breakfast included was a big plus, and the on premises restaurant was as good as any around. Staff was attentive and helpful. We would stay again! Mike and Theresa

I had a great experience at this hotel. It was clean and the staff was amazing. The rooms are small but hey it's Europe, quit your whining lol. Will definitely stay here again when I go back to Lisboa.

Such an amazing hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing. If you can add the continental breakfast for a small price, it's worth it. It may not be the best, but it does the job and it's a great choice when not much is open in the morning. The staff again are amazing in the restaurant. The rooms may be a little noisy from the street but only until 11 pm and then it's very quiet ! Great central location to walk around Lisbon, you're in the middle of it all. The rooms had a hair straightener for the ladies, which is rare! It was also awesome to be able to communicate to front desk via WhatsApp! I had some questions and they were able to respond ASAP in the middle of the night, including queries about air con working and could monitor my room remotely!

Great location for seeing the city and getting around, good transportation links. very attentive staff and loved the little things like water and coffee at reception and the room fridge with some free drinks after a long hot day exploring the city. Rooms were well appointed and the bar and restaurant were also a lovely addition to the experience. I would recommend the octopus from the restaurant, it was amazing . Overall a fabulous experience.

I cannot fault this hotel. A wonderfully warm welcome. Staff at reception cannot do enough for you. As a nutritionist, breakfast variety is very important to me. They have everything covered; cooked traditional breakfast, granola, seeds, alternative milks, a daily supply of fresh fruit and pastries, veg, salad yoghurts, smoked salmon, cheese, meats and a variety of fresh breads. Anything you need, the friendly and helpful staff are always on hand. As for the beds - so comfortable!!! Will definitely recommend

This hotel is likely one of the best in Western Europe, especially for the price. The room is spacious and comfortable, there are a lot of small freebies like snacks and drinks, and it's very well-located. The interiors are tastefully done - it's sleek and modern but also preserves the historical details of the building. I'll stay here every time I visit Lisboa!

Incredible service, our honeymoon was delayed due to weather and the hotel was so accommodating. We were welcomed with helpful and sincere service constantly. The location is very convenient. The bar is also wonderful with freshly made cocktails. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely excellent hotel. Wonderful location in the heart of everything. The service was the best part! They helped give great dinner recommendations and called us cabs when we neede them. So very pleased we chose this hotel. Breakfast was amazing too.

Loved our 3 night stay at Hotel da Baixa! We arrived quite early and they let us check in, no problem. They valet parked our car as well. The location is perfect in the heart of the Baixa. The rooms are very modern and unusually large for a European hotel, in our experience. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large (ours had a double sink). The staff are incredibly helpful and adeptly answered any question we had. The breakfast buffet that came with the room was very nice. I could not ask for more. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay. The rooms are very clean. They are smaller in space but you mostly spend time outdoors, so works. The location is very central. The bar at the hotel is amazing. AND they did Mimosas for breakfast!!! <3

Upscale hotel in the very center of Lisbon. The area is a weird mix of touristy cafes and a few older, beautiful places. The hotel definitely belongs to the latter. Great rooms, friendly service and good location to explore most of Lisbon.

The room is new and the decoration is so nice!!! By far the best I have ever stayed!! The location is also perfect for exploring the city. It’s in the center closed to the main public transportation to the popular tourist attractions. The service is also excellent!! You also get complimentary egg tarts!!

This Hotel is 5 stars without a doubt. Love it so much. The location, the wonderful people, and the rooms are spotless and meticulous. Can’t wait to book it again.

Great hotel. Loved our room- it was spacious and clean. The shower was great and service was excellent. Loved the Pastel de Nata in the lobby in the morning! Also appreciated the warm welcome, the robes, and the amazing location!!! Improvements- could have more hanging space in the closets, a safe, nicer and more frequent elevators, and a more spacious lobby area.

We enjoyed a wonderful two night stay at Hotel da Baixa. We found the hotel clean, comfortable, and with all the modern amenities yet still plenty of old world charm that the Baixa area is known for. We had breakfast included with our stay and they provided a varied and delicious spread. If you bring your own vehicle, valet parking is available at a reasonable price. Last (but certainly not least) I can't say enough about the staff. From the moment we arrived they made us feel like VIPs.

  • 2/5 al s. 1 year ago on Google
They advertise free parking (both self and valet) and then scam you for $35 a day when you arrive. Also, some of their rooms are as small as a closet. If you accidentally book one of these rooms the staff does not give you the same attention as other guests. Literally had by bed made but no other amenities in the room were replenished. There are many options in this beautiful city, I will definitely not return to this hotel on my next visit.

Great, small hotel right in the heart of Lisbon. The rooms are a little bit small but the location makes you forget all. Wherever you want to go is just steps away. The breakfast is limited but everything is so fresh and delicious. Loved our stay and we will look no further in our next visit, de Baixa is the address.

Brilliant hotel right in the heart of Lisbon. There's nothing extra I can add that other reviewers haven't already mentioned - just really impressed! Special mention to the girl who worked the bar each evening (unfortunately I can't remember her name) - she was super friendly.

  • 5/5 David W. 1 year ago on Google
A fantastic place to stay! Quaint Victorian hotel in the middle of all the action! I debated 5 stars across, the only thing lacking is the size of the rooms. I know pretentious North American, but if you are expecting a large room by North American standards, these are typical European size units, but who cares. Beautiful and clean and a bathroom you could have a party in, so take the good with the different.. (BTW, changed to Five Stars while typing). Staff are tremendous and helpful. It was sunny and warm during our stay and rooms were quite warm for our liking. Windows open did not help and cooling controls were locked off as it is winter! Staff had it resolved in a moment's notice. Great Spot to stay!

  • 4/5 A C. 1 year ago on Google
We recommended the hotel to a friend who stayed one night a couple of days before our 2 night stay. Our friend was greeted with fresh tarts and a small gift. We received nothing and no one helped us to our room or described how to use the various light/blind switches in the room. Also there was a dark hair under my breakfast croissant that I picked up at the hotel breakfast buffet. The waitress was unconcerned when I we told her about it. Our room was beautifully decorated but the “view” we paid for was into the room in the building across the small courtyard. The shower and room amenities were spectacular but the inconsistencies in service were disappointing.

This place was GREAT! Only place to stay in Lisbon. The staff was more attentive than any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in and the atmosphere was top notch. Location was perfect. 5 stars all day every day. Definitely stay here.
