They looked through our baggage and my friend 'lost' his iphone 7, another lost their perfume. We are pretty sure the cleaning personel stole them straight from our luggage. They also took our deposit for having some clothing articles on the floor of our rooms, which for some reasons violated their rules? Im really shaking at the fact that an establishment like this can keep being in business, but it must be because they sell off our stolen stuff. I dont know, but dont go here if you like what you bring with you.

Aside the fact that it’s 2km walking on steep roads this hostel is a 5/5 place to stay. The staff Filipa, Roxana and Marto were super friendly, Informative and helpful. They worked hard and stayed long hours to make guests comfy. For eg we had checkout at 630am but Filipa ensured the following staff Marto kept all Breakfast items ready and available the night before. Hostel bathrooms are well equipped and Super neat. My bunk bed though wasn’t as solid as one would imagine but our hostel room made up overall. Impeccable service and arrangements. Their recommended Sintra, Caba De Roca, Cascais and Belem tour was a private tour with RAD (Rent a driver) with Frederico. It was amazing and the tour price cost less than group tours if you are 3-4 pax. Even other wise Frederico is a rockstar super happy guide at budget prices. The hostel recommended the free walking tour too and although we took the yellow group and not the red group but the fact that the hostel sent us to all the best budget options make it great. The best ice cream at Lisbon Nanarella is 300 m away and a our vegetarian Portuguese restaurant is just opposite the hostel - both these information given by Frederico. Super happy and love Lisbon and Portugal for the people involved. Am yet to write blog on Lisbon but do check my other cheapest best travel blogs at emojisarebald com

Amazing location! Super clean! Close to the bear gay bars! 3bearbars is just down the street. The staff could have some improvements but in general the super nice .

This place is the most cleanest and organized hostel I have ever seen. The owner, Ana is really welcoming and sweet. She will make you feel at home!

Ana and team make this place the gem that it is. They aren't just hosts, they're representatives of their city & region and want to make sure you enjoy everything the place has to offer. And they do it better than any $500 per night hotel concierge will. The rooms private and shared are nice and comfortable with medium-firm foam mattresses and mini-splits to keep the spaces nice and cool, and the shared bathroom area is kept cleaner than any I've seen before. I highly recommend this hostel and team!

This is hostel is excellent, very clean and spacious. The reception guy is very welcoming and helpful. He did prepare me a breakfast because i was leaving too early and gave me some good recommendations. Only negative point was i could hear people talking from the street during the night but other than that everything was perfect.

I was there in autumn 2016 and was given uncomplicated and friendly help due to the loss of my rented holiday apartment. Because the alternative would have been to have to sleep on the park bench as a tourist. I was given a dormitory for my own use and the owner even drove me to the airport by car! The breakfast was simple but tasty and the staff were very nice. To this day I am very grateful to you for your help and support in my predicament back then!

I lost my reservations and even so they assured me that I could come and they would let me stay in the hostel room detail my reservation was non-refundable hsostel and fix everything clean good staff highly recommend

The best hostel in Lisbon. I recommend you with confidence. Very clean hostel, very delicious breakfast. The staff is super friendly, the owner is a wonderful woman who does everything to make the customer happy. She even gives you her phone number in case you need help or something to solve and don't stop, she will help you. If I get there again, I will definitely not stay there again.

I want to thank the team of Royal Prince Hostel for a quick reply to my message and for free cancellation of my booking. I got into hospital and couldn't cancel my booking on time and they kindly allowed me to cancel it and didn't imply 18 Euro fare. Thanks to the team!
