i really wish i liked this place as much as a lot of the reviews say, but if you are planning on coming to this hostel please just be aware of how extremely dirty this place is. the pictures that you see will give you a better idea. first of all, the staff are all young people who just want to party and don’t really “work.” they don’t clean up after people, and i understand that hostels are normally not the cleanest but this was crossing the line. im almost positive im sick from the black spots (black mold perhaps?) that were on the ceilings, walls, curtains, etc. i think the most that they do is maybe sweep. some people that were staying in my room left a bunch of trash, food, and clothes on the floor and nothing was prepared or cleaned up for the next people that came to sleep there. and when they do come and prepare the beds, they climb up on it with their shoes. theres always hair, trash, dirty clothes lying around in public spaces and was never cleaned up (maybe they clean it up after a few days but only until you let them know, and even then they kinda just throw it to the corner). none of the usb plugs work and idk if it was for everyone but for me i was by the window bottom bunk and my phone barely just reached the bed. by reception, theres a sign that says quiet hours start after 11pm and the common room closes at 2am but they kick you out of the common room strictly at either 11 or 12am. the breakfast in the morning consists of toast, jelly/butter, cereal, and hot tea but its mostly water. i will say i appreciate that they have different events every night to gather people. also the water pressure is great but thats about it.

Good location. Started very bad with slow check-in. Took 30-60 minutes to do it. Had to wait for other ppl and the girl didn't seem to care to hurry at all. Squeaky doors when entering the hostel. Everytime. Squeaky beds too - everytime you move, they make a sound. You can leave your luggage for some time, but it's right next to the entrance door, hence very easy to be stolen by anyone from outside. Door weren't closed most of the time. Flies in the kitchen - probably nothing. In the morning, after party, there were alcohol stains on the floor, which you could feel when your insoles glued to the floor constantly. Wasn't cleaned at all. My key to the room didn't work at all, lock was broken, so anyone could access it if front door was opened. And everyone from the hostel at anytime too. Reported the issue and it wasn't fixed at all during my 3(4) day stay. Staff wasn't friendly at all, besides one/two guys, i guess the owner. Things in the hostel look of very bad quality in general. Ceiling and walls were dirty, with probably some fungus spots. If you look around you could notice that a lot of things were of poor quality.

The hostel is pretty nice concidering the price and its location. The free breakfast fast also a plus. The not so great points where the programme. I wouldn’t really recommend this to solo travelers, as they claim they have an event for every evening but somehow every evening was the same and often kind of awkward. They bring you to Bairro Alto, which is fun but you don’t need to stay in a party hostel for that and sacrifice hours of sleep (due to the loud guests) and a good shower. Ours had mold, and so did the room we stayed in. If you’re only there for a night it’s probably fun but you can have the same nightlife without the negative points in another hostel. Important note: If you’re not comfortable with strangers touching your belongings, consider going elsewhere. We were thankful for the maintenance but someone went through our backpack. (The staff was very nice though)

It’s a hostel, full of young and free people! Great location and super friendly staff. On the check in they offer if you like to joy the pub crawl for £20 it’s great! Definitely recommend

This hostel has several advantages, but mainly disadvantages. First, it's a mess. The bathrooms are very dirty, it is a mess from the very morning, so I don't know if anyone is cleaning there. Second, there was a problem with the light during my stay and throughout my stay there was no light in the bathroom on my floor! Nobody took care of fixing this problem, and I think it was not that difficult. Thirdly - the staff of the hostel was not very nice, when checking out, when I wanted to complain about the lack of light, I was ignored. Very bad customer approach. From the pluses I can mention - the cheapest price. When I was looking for accommodation in Lisbon, it was the cheapest option. And also the distance from the city center. Unfortunately, these are the only advantages. If someone, like me, comes for 2 nights, it is possible to survive there.

Even though we couldnt stay in Lisbon for more than a couple of days, we had a really good experience. It is really well located. The staff was unbelievably nice and patient with us, especially Víctor, who helped us out a lot referring to what to see during our trip and was always in a lovely mood. Would really recommend!

I have travelled across the world and stayed in many hostels but The Gspot Hostel is by far the best hostel I stayed in. I was supposed to stay for one night but once I entered and when I met few people I extended my stay for few more days. Gspot Hostel is one of those places where memories are made which will be cherished for rest of the life and endless stories to tell to your friends. I loved this place so much that I came back here with my friends on my birthday and we had great time going Pub-crawl. Make sure when you all come here go for The Lisbon Pub-crawls they are the best. I love this place so much that I am even ready to work in this Hostel. This is the place where strangers turn to family every night. Congratulations for all the Hostel crew you guys are amazing. THANK YOU <3

Good surprise in Lisbon city center. Clean, organised (in the 8 pp dorm I had enough personal space) with a super cool staff. Caio, Paula, Gabi and Arcangelo were great, the manager was also nice (forgot his name, sorry) giving tips to where to go in the city for food and sightseeing. I am absolutely returning during the summer!

This is definitely the best hostel I have been to. It's cheap, has a great location and you get your money's worth, because they give you a free beer, free breakfasts and storage your bags even after you checked out. 10/10 experience, I will gladly come back.

I can highly recommend this hostel. It is well located for sightseeing during the day and partying by night. Staff and guests alike are friendly and welcoming. There is a family dinner of pasta each evening for 5 Euros, which is a great way to meet people. In the evening there are also drinking games and always people to chat to and who are going out to Bairro Alto to carry on the party. The free breakfast is also great. Although a 'party hostel', this did not, in my experience, extend into the dorms, meaning that I could sleep OK.

Service is a solid place in town. The rooms and bathrooms are not the best. My bed squeeked. The bathrooms are dirty by nightfall. But both are cleaned rather well by the morning and in general pretty nice for s party spot. I enjoyed my time here. Rooms aren't too loud and the average itenersry suggested the party to move towards bars as bedtime approached. I appreciate this very much!

We stayed there for 4 nights, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and also all the activities included within the hostel were great such as the dinner, tour or pub crawl. Special mention to Victor as he made our stay even better ☺️Definitely going to come back :)

Highlight of this hostel is truly the staff, in particular receptionist Arthur who provided outstanding service and communication to ensure our stay was the smoothest and most fun possible - way beyond the average requirements! Hostels definitely need more of his friendly, patient and outgoing nature to build relationships with guests. Give this man a raise!!

Good location and definitely fun if you like to constantly drink/party. The dinners were cheap and nice for socializing, plus you usually get an hour of free drinks included! On the other hand, it felt like a glorified frat party with older men (27-35) and freshly 18 year olds… my friends and I thought it was odd/surprising that 30+ year olds wanted to hangout with early 20 year olds and below. As a woman, be aware of what you’re getting into because it is very male-heavy!!! Also, it was kind of dirty… definitely bring your own pillow/blanket if possible :D

:) -Really nice and friendly staff - Really nice people - Free breakfast - A lot of activities - Family dinner looks great - 1 free beer - Nice atmosphere :( - Check in at 4h00 am wakes everyone up - Lot of mold in the room and the bathroom - Can't use kitchen between 17h and 21h because of family dinner - Really cold, we need to open windows or else it's moist and smelly in the room because there is no vent - only one really thin sheet - Kinda expensive for what it is

The best hostel in Lisbon . It’s the perfect place if you need to party and meet new people. My room and all the bathrooms were clean, the common areas were as the atmosphere , the staff was amazing ( especially elina and Claudia ✨) always ready to party and help you . Love it , I will come back for sure.

THE BEST HOSTEL IN LISBON 🤍 The locations is perfect, rooms are nice and specious and bathrooms are clean ;) But what is more important is the vibe ! For a solo traveller or a group, this place is the best. Every night there is some kind of event, challange or game which makes it super easy to find new buddies. But most importantly this is where you want to be because of the people that work here. It feels like home from very first moment and that is because of you guys ! So big thank you to Larrisa, Gabi, Alex, Filipe, Caio and Carlos ! This place wouldn’t be the same without you all 👍

I love GSpot! Stayed for a few nights and had a really fun time. The theme is hilarious and the staff was really friendly. Especially João, he is a beautiful prince who is sweet, funny, and handsome with the eyes of angel. 💖

Fun hostel, but kinda dirty and quite cramped. However, it was by far the most social hostel I’ve stayed at so it’s worth it if you’re looking for that. Met some awesome people here

Not the fanciest hotel in Lisbon, but for sure, the best. The vibe you got here is just amazing, the location is perfect, it's just a magical place, thanks Claudia, Elina, and the greek guy, great staff. Best wishes, Sami

Stayed in Lisbon for a week, and the hostel was in an excellent location and great price! The party events were amazing, and the customer service was even better. The young Canadian girl at the front was gracious enough to give us travel tips, helped us out with any problem we had, and went above and beyond with being friendly. She amongst other staff were so welcoming and accommodating!

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel, staff members were all helpful and friendly, especially Jess, who made me feel at home and welcome to this hostel. Other staff members such as carlos, who’s a legend, helped us out when we needed advice on how to get around the city and also brought us to great night clubs. The g spot is a great spot, good atmosphere and a fun vibe. I would recommend anyone to go here, especially with the staff members mentioned above, being so helpful

Very friendly people here, especially the staff. The food is very good and you have a very good climate, if you use to hang around here during the evenings. The rooms are also very fine and clean. The location is perfect because it is like a 2 min walk away from all the bars or the shopping street Greetings Jordi

The manager was super rude to me and some other people too, He was rude to GUESTS also some off the staff. He was weirdly rude to latin people. He shouldn't be manager because he is not professional or good at it. If it wasnt for Anna and Arturo I wouldnt Stay that for sure . They are the only great part of my stay. When we stored the luggage it was a mess and the manager said that It wasn't his responsibility. WE HAD been stolen and the management really don't care about us situation. 10 for Arturo and Anna who tried their best to solve the problems if not for them will be less 1 ! THE MANAGER are totally mannerless!
