Nice environment. A huge diversity of plants and species of trees all together in a massive greenhouse. Lots of stepping-stones taking you to little paths surrounded by ferns and plants some of tropical and subtropical origin. Very cheap just enough to spend between an hour or two if you want to seat and enjoy yourself between the green.

Free entry on weekend due to park festival. Thank you so much for the visit! The children loved it!

  • 5Stephen L. 4 months ago
Great hidden gem in my opinion. It’s located near the top of the Parque Eduardo VII, which is a popular vantage point to view Liberty Ave. Allow yourself 30 mins to an hour to walk through the garden, depending on your interest in plants and mobility (there are stairs and a few steep paths). There are little surprises, like a tower and bridge, throughout the garden.

  • 5Jomin N. 5 months ago
One of the top spot that I visited in Lisbon. The quality and quantity of plants is absurd. The trails are really nice and you will forget to be in a garden. The place is really magical and it's fantastic to sit on the benchs and enjoy the wind. The staff is really nice and the ticket is cheap (3 euro, but there also reduced price ticket). There are also some nice ducks.

  • 5Eva E. 3 months ago
Entry price was around 3 euros pp (cash or card). We spent around 30 min in there but you could easily spend longer. It’s very beautiful, relaxing and calm. I would highly recommend it but it’s not very buggy or wheelchair friendly as there are lot of stairs and puddles.

Amazing place, you should visit. Sundays from 9 to 2pm it's free 🤩😇🥰

Entrance €3.10. Free every Sunday before 2pm. Bigger than I remembered it being. Wonderful to have such a lovely garden in the city that can also be enjoyed on a rainy day as it is in the case that I'm writing this 🌧️😊🌿

Absolutely must stop in Lisbon for any plant or nature lover. There's something exciting to see everywhere you turn. Come on Sundays and get in for free!

  • 5Roberto T. 10 months ago
This place is unbelievable. Very possibly the most impressive garden in Europe.

  • 5Luis C. 10 months ago
The coolest venue! It's a botanical garden that leads to an event venue. Highly recommend for a nice walk.

  • 5Brent S. 9 months ago
If you love botanical gardens, this place will amaze you. It is a truly massive greenhouse - several acres worth. Lots of interesting pathways and elevations. This is a much better botanical garden than the Jardim Botanico de Lisboa, which seems to be more prominent in the guidebooks.

  • 5Dirk S. 10 months ago

A greenhouse with a breathtaking biodiversity, and for the price it costs you have access to two huge greenhouses that are worth seeing

  • 5Ximena B. 9 months ago
Incredible tropical garden with a beautiful landscape. Perfect for taking photos and having a date. It is a mandatory visit since it is well located, in the center city. The reception staff very friendly. Undoubtedly a perfect option for a walk, even on a cloudy day.

  • 5Maciej K. 3 years ago
Huge, enclosed and shaded botanical park with plethora of tropical trees, shrubs and flowers. Scattered ponds with fish and small wandering birds add to the woodland vibes. It's a relief from scorching August sun as it's much cooler than outside. There are few sections connected with roads, one of them houses cacti species. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful escape from the city in this quite tropical garden. It's quite big and you can spend here 30 min-1 hour. Just grab your book and coffee and enjoy yourself on one of the benches in the garden. So peaceful and beautiful!

One of the most romantic public gardens in Lisbon. It's not very well known, but it's worth the visit. If you love plants, botany and flowers this is your place.

  • 5E. 1 year ago
A nice place to take good pictures. It’s a very chill place. With so much plants and surprisingly don’t have much bugs. The greenhouse wasn’t open when I visited, probably because of the COVID situation, it’s a pity.

  • 5Marlene R. 2 years ago
Most stunning and beautiful botanical garden I have ever been to. Only cost very little and was absolutely worth it. So many plants packed into huge halls with slightly hidden stairs and pathways that are very well kept. Super sweet lady at the front, too.

(Translated by Google) Excellent space to visit with family or even individual. It is easy to access and with very accessible parking. I believe that if you choose to go by public transport it is also in fact accessible because it is right in the center of Lisbon next to the marquis of pombal. I suggest that you treat the space as it really deserves to be treated. Do not throw garbage on the floor to preserve the natural beauty that exists in this greenhouse !!

Estuda fria (Cold Greenhouse) is a beautiful garden worth the visit. It is composed by the bigger cold greenhouse and a "sweet greenhouse" and a "hot greenhouse". Beside the plans you can see a lot of birds, ponds with fish and tortoises. Entrance is cheap but on Sundays mornings is free. Easy to park and to get there by public transport. Good visit for families.
