I am a female who needed to spend one night in Lisbon and made a reservation at this place a few days before arriving. While making the reservation I was specifically asked if I wish to be in a women-only room or in a mixed room with both men and women. I reserved a women-only room. I arrived in the evening and the girl at the desk instructed me how to find my room. When I entered the room all the other women had already arrived, but the bed that was supposed to be mine had no sheets, or blanket, or pillow on and one of the women told me that earlier in the day people had come in and taken it all away because the girl who had been sleeping in that bed had lice or something like that... So, I called the receptionist who had not been made aware of the bed situation and seemed confused. She told me to wait a little and that she thinks she can find another room for me. I asked if it would be a women-only room like this one and she said ‘I think so.’ Yet when she took me to my new room a short while later there were two guys there and so I asked if this is instead a mixed room, meaning that there will be guys but there will also be other women in the room beside me. ‘Yes, it is, I am sorry’, she responded confirming my hope that at least I will not be the only woman in this room. However, as the evening progressed two more guys came to sleep in the room and there were never any other women. I was left to spend a night in a room with four men despite the fact that I had paid for a women’s room in advance. I find that highly inappropriate and also very, very unprofessional on the part of the hostel. Why did nobody warn the receptionist or me earlier in the day that there was a problem with the bed in which I was supposed to sleep? Did it not cross somebody’s mind that there are other people who would have to sleep in that bed in the very near future? The receptionist did not even warn me that I would be sleeping in a room with men and acted as if she was hoping I would not take notice of that even though I had specifically asked her a minute earlier if I would still be able to sleep in a women-only room. I believe I should be partially refunded for my stay at this place and I sent an email to the hostel to tell them that, explaining the whole situation very clearly. They never responded, which I find reprehensible.

Excellent location within walking distance to train station, supermarket, tourist areas and good restaurant choices. Beds within dorm are large with a socket, light, shelf and sizeable lockers, however aren’t very private and dorms next to or facing the door are very open. Bathrooms are mixed gender with showers and toilets together, and only 2 showers and 2 toilets per floor. Kitchen has good facilities and utensils.

Location is great as in walking distance to some touristic place esp. Saint George Castle. The two lady from front desk are nice and superb. The rest especially the woman in charge in kitchen and in housekeeping doesnt know how to smile or even greet the guests even you meet her everyday im any part of the hostel. While the male staff always frowned. The breakfast is the same as the other day. For my 3 nights here, i ate the same breakfast.

I’ve stayed in so many hostels, and despite the shockingly positive reviews, this is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at, for several reasons. There was suspicious black mold all over the showers; I was concerned about getting sick from the amount of mold. Rest of the bathroom was dirty as well and constantly smelled like mildew/mold (no surprise). Bed and pillow were hard as a rock, and the floors are so squeaky and loud that it’s impossible to take a footstep without waking up the whole room. The room door didn’t close easily and did not lock automatically, meaning it was usually left unlocked overnight when people came in/out. Windows had terrible temperature insulation and blocked basically no sound from the outside. Not conducive to socializing much. The only good thing about this hostel was that the reception staff were friendly, but that is a very basic expectation. Please choose a different hostel.

Very noisy !!!the building doesn’t have proper insulation ,it needs maintenance,if you want to get sleep and relax I wouldn’t suggest this place because it was hard for me to sleep all nights that I was there .the best part is the location of the property and staff but other than that I wouldn’t recommend

I loved this hostel! Be prepared for a bit of a climb up the stairs but it's well worth it. Great facilities and excellent location in the old town. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Definite 10 out of 10!!

Great hostel and friendly staff although the checking in rooms every morning is a little bit odd and boarding school-like... Never seen that before! Definitely not a party hostel but it's nice and chilled and rooms are fine.

My favorite place to stay when I am in Lisbon overnight. Can't say much about longer stays. Good breakfast, nice staff. Clean bathrooms. Just don't like VERY common showers. :)

Good location, kind and friendly staff. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking own meals and there’s a common area to sit albeit limited space. The bathrooms are shared between dorms (2 toilets and 2 showers) per floor which doesn’t accommodate for the amount of guests and can be quiet busy. It would be nice for curtains to be installed on the lower bunks for privacy and to block incoming light from the hallway when the door opens.

Very nice 2 bed room in a cozy renovated building in the center of Lisboa. Close by the Castello de SJorge and Figueira Square where there is an exit of Rossio metro statio

The hostel was really nice, it's close to the city, it's clean, and the staff was very friendly, especially Nanette, she was helpful, always smiling, spoke good English and was easy to communicate. The only complaint I have is that the common area closes at midnight, and after that we have nowhere to go if we're still awake. But overall it's a good place, I. highly recommend!

Beds were nothing to write home about, stiff spring and felt a bit unstable (not like they were going to fall apart, just that when you move, the upper or lower bunk also moved, so if you are bunkmates with a restless sleeper, you may not sleep well). But overall clean, bathrooms were always clean, breakfast was standard portugal continental breakfast of toast, lunch meat, cheese, cereal, juice and coffee. I did find I met a lot of travelers here! There wasn't much of a bar scene at the hostel bar, but the library with games was nice! Staff always helpful, spoke Spanish and English if you don't speak portugese. Good location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn possible hostel in Lisbon. It was a great location and the people at the desk were very helpful! Also shoutout to Yumna Nanette for making us feel super welcomed and giving us great recommendations!

The people working there were nice. Rooms were clean. Some things were under repair. I'm still very very ANGRY!!! That someone open the front door and stole my luggage from the lobby when I return my key. I probably will not return or recommend this place.

Great hostel in Lisbon. Was more expensive than higher hostels in other cities but I think that is reflective of Lisbon, not the hostel. Rooms and beds were clean. Had massive lockable drawer per bed so was able to safely lock all our stuff up. Basic breakfast included as well. Definitely not a party hostel but was fine for what we wanted. Only negative was pillows were horrendous I ended up using my jumper.

It’s a nice place. All clean, friendly staff, good beds. But neighbors are way too loud. So you can’t sleep at least till 2am. Consider that when you are coming late night or want to open windows.

I lived in this hostel for 30 days. It was a great experience. The location is very good, around the hostel are a lot of bars and restaurants. The breakfast is suitable for this price. Especially the staff was very friendly and reliable. Furthermore they was always open for some private talks. 5+ Stars for Shirley, Nanette, Ramon, Tiago, Isa and Caio. Special Thanks goes to Nanette. I will come back soon. Max

The good things about this place are that the place is cozy and the location is just right to walk to main attractions, but the street noise is just too much. If you are young and don't care about noise, this place could be a great buy, otherwise I will look elsewhere.

Stayed there as a couple for 2 nights in the private room. The location is good, and staff is nice, but the room was disappointing - although it was spacious, I can hardly say it had privacy. The walls do not isolate noise from the hostel corridor, other rooms or from outside, in the bathroom there was mold and they seem to have a problem of sewage smell when the shower window was open so they put a deodorizer that was a bit too much and made the room air stifling. We later moved to an hotel, and for 10 euros more per night got much better value for money, and better breakfast. I didn't get the impression of a vibrant atmosphere that could compensate for the lack of room comfort for this price, so I can't recommend it.

Thiago and the rest of the staff was really helpful and nice! The beds were comfortable and the dorms were really spacious with lots of places to place all your things. There are sockets and reading lamps available in all beds. The bathrooms were always clean. The showers had a place to put in your shampoo and soap. Perhaps the only uncomfortable thing was that there was no private place to change into your clothes. The breakfast that is included is really well served!! Nothing ever runs out and there are lots of things to choose from. The vibe is really chill and everyone is really friendly. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a supermarket nearby. It's 10 minutes away from the Rossio train station and 5 minutes away from the metro station. Would definitely come back!

I had such a great time at this hostel!! I was overall very clean and the people were super respectful. The vibe was awesome but not too much. It is perfectly located, super close to the castle, Alfama area, downtown, the water, etc. I was sad the lounge was closed. We could hang out in the dining room but not the lounge, because of covid. I don't understand why, because then we only had one room to hang out, so we were closer...

Great hostel in a central location, walking distance to everything. We had an ensuit twin room. It came with towels, soaps, shampoo, ironing board, hair dryer, and breakfast in the morning. Lots of space to hang your clothes. Lots of plugs by the bed to charge your devices. There's a little bar if you like craft beer. Very welcoming staff. I'd definitely recommend and return next time I'm in town.

The hostel is amazing, really clean, friendly service, good breakfast, and good common area, the hostel's setting is convenient, close to city centre, supermarket, restaurants and souvenir shops. The only problem was the heat, they only have fan, at the floor, so try to get a bottom bed (bunk beds). In the otherwise you cannot sleep.

Loved our stay at Inn Possible! Staff was very friendly and warm. We loved all their recommendations and the cherry liquor welcome drink.🍾 Location is perfect and walking distance to everything you need to see in Lisbon. Rooms were clean; I stayed in a 6-person mixed dorm with my three friends and had no problems. Free breakfast in the morning and good chance to socialise 🤩 Would love to come back soon!
