Overall
a
decent
Hostel
to
stay
for
a
few
nights.
It's
geared
more
for
people
who
don't
mind
being
further
from
the
action
and
taking
a
very
short
Metro
ride
(5-10
minutes)
to
the
rest
of
the
sites.
The
area
is
safe
and
clean,
a
bit
chix-chix
with
high
end
shops
on
the
main
avenue.
Didn't
find
a
social
atmosphere
there.
Staff
are
very
nice
and
mostly
accommodating.
They
never
have
me
any
of
their
names
or
introduced
themselves
at
any
point
in
my
4
nights
there,
but
they
always
said
hello
and
goodbye
with
a
smile.
And
always
happy
to
give
advice
on
sites
to
see,
nous
if
transport
etc.
Only
real
criticism
is
they
do
nothing
to
admonish
loud
and
unruly
guests
coming
in
at
5am.
And
they
allow
smoking
on
the
front
balcony,
but
leave
the
doors
wide
open
so
the
smoke
just
blows
back
into
the
entire
hostel
into
every
room.
When
I
asked
to
choose
the
balcony
door,
they
said
they
couldn't
cuz
they
needed
to
heat
the
front
door
bell.
Facilities
are
nice
and
new.
They
are
cleaned
several
times
a
day.
The
beds
make
a
minimal
amount
of
noise
as
you
get
in
and
out.
The
little
USB
fans
require
your
own
adapter
but
if
you
don't
have
one
ask
the
staff
for
one.
The
bright
white
lamps
are
great
in
the
morning
or
early
evening,
but
overkill
at
night
once
people
go
to
sleep
as
it's
way
too
bright
to
not
disturb
everyone
else
in
the
room.
Storage
lockers
are
complimentary
with
locks
under
the
bed
which
is
nice.
Curtains
for
privacy
would
be
great
as
other
Lisbon
hostels
have
that.
Breakfast
is
ok,
jam,
peanut
butter,
Nutella,
and
a
variety
of
fresh
beads
and
croissants.
Coffee
is
fresh
and
they
have
orange
juice
and
a
few
different
teas.
There's
also
cereal
and
milk.
Some
people
complain
about
the
need
to
get
buzzed
into
the
building,
but
I
didn't
have
to
wait
long
anytime
I
came
back.
So
didn't
consider
it
an
issue.
Only
thing
is
you
can't
hear
anything
the
receptionist
says
through
the
front
speaker.
It's
just
a
cackle.
I'd
stay
here
again
as
the
price
was
ok
for
what
you
get.
Nothing
exceptional
compared
to
the
other
50+
hostels
I've
stayed
in
across
the
world.
