I wasn't planning on leaving a review, even while the vibe is cool, it all looks nice, it felt like the perfect cute neigherhood bar and the staff is really friendly. But then I had the cappucino! I'm traveling for 5 months now in Portugal and I think this was the best cappucino. So hereby 5 stars, thank you!

Sehr nettes und tolles Café, Service sehr nett und Speisen frisch zubereitet. Preise gut, wie überall. Eher was günstiger. Es lohnt sich. Am letzten Tag haben wie die Burger 🍔 getestet und die waren soo lecker 😋 und so saftig.

It’s a great place to bring friends, family and even clients when they’re in town! Brooklyn is more than just a brunch place, It’s a Meeting Place and the food is fantastic. The family owned business is warm and kind and it’s just a great place to be….oh and the orange juice, cappuccino, “American Breakfast” as well as the desserts will “Make A Rabbit Smack A Hound ! Seriously, reminds me of growing up in Brooklyn in the 70s. Friendly staff and a local clientele. The food is excellent particularly the Comfort Breakfast, Quinoa Salad and on Thursday, the Cachupa. Affordable and we eat here at east two times a week. If your in need of a hearty lunch, the Cachupa is a powerhouse for flavor and nutrition. Make sure you try the a Cappuccino as the staff has a real skill with the coffee. They make you feel like your a local and if you want to escape a pure tourist spot and are looking for solid food, this is the place.

Being from Brooklyn NY, I had to stop into this restaurant! We had lunch and it was delicious. I had the cheeseburger and it was so filling. The fish soup was tasty as well. Great atmosphere and the owner was very friendly to chat with. I will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Fantastic breakfast place. Everyone was friendly and filled up pretty fast. We were there 10 min after open and it was full of people. Food was great, as well as coffee. Try it out!

Nice stop for a quick lunch or breakfast. Great service and really good food. They have high chairs and allow dogs. Can also get coffee for takeaway.

Came here for breakfast and was pleasantly pleased. Not only is the coffee, food and service amazing but the ambiance is inviting. The smooth American jazz is the cherry on top. The decor is that of a proud African American in portugal!!

SPOILER ALERT: This is going to be a great meal! TLDR: Don't hesitate and go. Came in today to have something for breakfast/lunch. This place didn't disappoint. The "bolo do día" 🥧 or cake of the day was a Masterclass in how a chocolate cake should be, simply delicious! Make sure to try the hot chocolate because that one is also something that is remarkable, very rich and thick chocolate ☕ (see the video I made in slow-mo!) that leaves you wanting more. We had the poached eggs over toast w/avocado, really good and it comes with a salad that is drizzled with a very nice balsamic vinaigrette 👌🏽 The table next to mine ordered a burger 🍔 and judging by how quickly this guy was done with it I can tell you I now want to come for one tomorrow. The vibe is super relaxed and staff are really friendly, it all makes you feel welcome.

A couple of incredibly lovely ladies serve great coffee and cook delicious cakes in a lovely coffee shop at the corner of a beautiful park. There are a few decent tables outside and the brunch/breakfast options are fantastic. Highly recommended

I love this coffee corner, especially because of the people who are working there. They are always friendly and always smiling, even during the busy hours. ..And they always have some super delicious cakes to taste.

Ordered salad with avocado and I was surprised how fresh is that. Food was good! Vibe was like in underground bar but with a lunch options, it has a beautiful jazz compositors placed all over the walls like: Dexter Gordon, Count Basie as I noticed. I love that they keep Praça da Alegria with Jazz history that it has. 5 from 5 it’s not enough as then they had almond pie without gluten and it was like a cherry on cake, as well quality of the coffee is surprisingly good. One mistake I didn’t take pictures of the food as it was too delicious. Will be back 🙃

Cutest little cafe! Our hotel recommended it and it was perfect. The orange juice and pineapple juice were super refreshing. My boyfriend got the chicken avocado Brie croissant, and I got the prosciutto and cheese. Both were super delicious and the perfect size. Price was very affordable too for the quality. Service was lovely, the staff is very friendly!

Five stars for atmosphere. Three stars for cold French fries and a dull overcooked cheeseburger without cheese (and no one in sight to fix the problem). Tuna soup was amazing and soul nourishing, like the music and friendly staff.

Another great find in Lisbon for breakfast! We have just finished breakfast and it was very nice, latte was a perfect size, not the usual huge cup. The breakfast trays are very fresh and great value. Good vibe about the place too.

Fantastic brunch spot in a nice neighborhood. Over two visits our party of nine covered most of the menu and everything was delicious. Highlights were the croissant breakfast and granola bowls for me. The family who run the restaurant are warm and welcoming and the space itself has a cozy and hip ambience.

Great place for a regular breakfast (fried eggs, scramble, bacon, ham, croissant, toast, etc) for when you don't feel like the usual Portuguese food.
