Fresh morning walk at local suburb of Lisbon holiday in 05/2023, a cute little local café (family business)by a senior couple, we ordered cappuccino (look and taste difference from where we are in Australia ) and pastry, I only remember the cappuccino cost 1.7 euro, worth a try. Owner Uncle George enjoying look after the café at the back table while his wife take care the rest. Clean and peace place.

Small, cozy place with delicious hot ham and cheese sandwiches. Husband and wife take and prepare the orders. The OJ is super fresh!! The owner walked across the street to purchase another crate of oranges. €5 for sandwich (big enough to share) and juice. What a steal.

Mellow local spot, but right on the tuk-tuk route, and fun to watch them go by while we ate. Owner spoke to us in English, helped us order and understood my friend was vegetarian. I had an excellent grilled ham and cheese. They made one without ham for my vegetarian friend. Owner broke a 20-euro note for us (needed coins to use bag lockers at the train station down the hill)

This is a perfect place for a toast with Fresh orange juice breakfast. But They offer also local pastries. What Will overwhelm you in this small shop is the friendliness. Its a real pleasure coming here

Small owner-operated café. The lady of the business speaks English. Service is friendly and they are happy to customize your sandwich. Humble local place. Coffee is ok. Pastries are ok as it seems they are not fresh each day. The toasted sandwich was great.

Lovely little caffe, feels like getting snacks from your grandparents. Also do huge sandwiches. Coffee is beautiful here too. Get the cake, you won't regret it.

One of the best bakeries I visited in Portugal. Fresh food delivered. Extremely delicious served with love. Aunt Teresa bakes exceptional deserts everyday. Everything I ordered from the menu was yummmm.. If you are reading this, I miss you, Aunt Teresa and Uncle George. They not only gave me food but also made me feel like family. Miss both of you. Hope to see you again.

Small café, run by two warm grannies, very nice for breakfast, a snack or a simple break in the day. Local, fresh and good products. Warm atmosphere with a little music. A good moment of relaxation.

Well-known place apparently, a lot of customers. Be aware that they don’t accept credit card but you can withdraw money outside. The “pasteis de nata” are a little bit too much oily for my taste. Expresso is good.

Not the place if you're in a hurry and need to have breakfast quick. It takes more than 20 mins to get things prepared. Even the croissants that are ready are not served until the sandwich is toasted. The Uncle is just sitting behind the bar doing nothing. Toast was freshly made, big portion and tasty. But coffee is not good.

A super nice mom and pop shop that will mark the perfect start to your day for a very affordable price point! We had two coffees, some delicacies, a large and small water all for €8. For real. Note: Cash only here.

Really, really slow. We spent 30 mins waiting for a sandwich, espresso, cappuccino and croissant. On the 30th minute they brought 2 sandwiches, were surprised that we want only 1 (we confirmed it's for share on the order), asked what else we wanted, then came back to confirm what croissant we want. At the end, they didn't even bring the orange juice which was part of the sandwich menu itself. The espresso was bad, the cappuccino was subpar as well. They don't even have POS so we had to find ATM. Really bad experience.

Wonderful little local coffee shop/bakery. We were made to feel so welcome by the older lady who spoke great English and took pleasure in telling us about their cafe and which pastries she bakes every day. Such a lovely couple running the place and we came back every day to see them.

What a cute, little place, run by a very generous older lady who will make sure you are well take ❤ off. The breakfast ham sandwich was delicious and plenty enough for two people. One of a great place to eat breakfast in Lisbon.

It was our first time in Lisbon and we stayed next door to this cafe. The couple who run this place are super friendly and their pastries (a lot of which are made by the lovely lady) are so delicious. Highly recommend a visit here - thank you so much for the friendly welcome to Lisbon and for the delicious pastries!

👍👍 One of the oldest cafe in Lisbon, founded in 1905. You can choose from huge variety of sweets, bakery and pastry right at the showcase, and they all are fresh. Interior is amazing - feels like you got into antique library. Minimum bill would be around 15€

👍👍 We are Americans visiting and really enjoyed the pastries and coffee here. As a warning to other travelers, most the staff doesn't speak English and there us a ticket system to order. 👍 Nice spot, cool interior, busy at all hours and with a great menu. Juices and smoothies are good, food is hit or miss. Eggs and burger weren’t perfect, but we tried other dishes and they were fine. Reservation is definitely recommended.
