This little store is easy to overlook but it is one of the hidden gems of the neighborhood. If you like chocolate the aroma will drive you crazy from the first steps in the door. They hand process chocolate mostly, but not exclusively, dark and they even roast their own coffee blend. In summer you cannot miss their raw chocolate ice cream and their smoothie. They offer pralines of such high quality and low sugar content, that my friend was recommended to come here by her doctor, seriously.

The best coffee and chocolate in town. Super friendly team, great coffee & a huge selection of tasty homemade chocolate bars (with ginger, salt & peppers, nuts, 100% cocoa, etc…) highly recommended

Great coffee, AMAZING chocolate - Bettina & Niccolo Corallo is a must visit in the Principe Real area. We hadn't heard of this café before but we were lucky enough to stumble across it after a trip to the farmers market in Principe Real. There is no seating so we got an oat milk Mochaccino and an oat milk Flat White to go, and were debating which chocolate to share when we were informed that each coffee comes with a complimentary chocolate. We chose the pistachio & white chocolate and the dark chocolate, caramel and fleur de sel. We expected to receive a small piece of each as they were free, but the tasters were quite generous (pictured). Both flavours were absolutely delicious but the latter was my favourite. We enjoyed our coffees and chocolate on a bench in the park across the road :)

Fantastic hot chocolate, really thick, well made and not too sweet. More of a retail shop than a comfortable place to sit in and have a drink in though, and placing an order took a long time as it's very disorganized and people just crowd around the counter.

Omg the most amazing chocolate sorbet (has the texture of soft serve) you will ever have in your life. The cacao flavor is so rich, it's magical and a week later, I'm not over it. Get a cup or an affogato and enjoy it just across the street in the public square. Get the brownie too. If you order a coffee, you will get a free chocolate sample. If you order the bars of chocolate, they will wrap and label each flavor individually - perfect for souvenirs.

On my final day in Lisbon, the top thing I wanted to make sure I did was make it to Bettina & Niccolo because I wanted to see if it was really worth the amount of adoration is gets. It is, without a doubt from the second you step in the store your senses are overwhelmed with the smell and taste of the best chocolate you will ever have in your life. For chocolate lovers, it is a pilgrimage well worth undertaking.

Oh what a great little coffee with their own roastery and they do their own chocolate as well. You can buy there different types of chocolate bars, which are very tasty and furthermore some chocolate ice cream. The staff was friendly and they give good advices about the chocolates and coffee. I got an espresso, which was great, dark and very delicious. The flavor and the body of the taste was good. Buy the way you will get a little piece of chocolate as well and this was amazing. I went for the dark one with sea salted caramel and it was mind blowing. In this case I ordered a ice cream, because they do it out of their own hand crafted chocolate. It was very creamy, had a great taste and the size was really okay for 4€. Yes I can definitely recommend to go there and drink an coffee and der some chocolate!

We had a very tasteful breakfast. Chocolate was delicious, sweet at the right point, and not at all heavy. Cappuccino and coffe were prepared with high quality coffee beans. I think this is a place one should try at least once for breakfast, to make it a different experience.

We bought a 70% dark chocolate bar with hazelnut and a dark chocolate bar with caramel. The 70% dark chocolate bar was okay, nothing special. The one with caramel was delicious! The caramel isn’t too sweet and doesn’t stick on your teeth. It also has a slightly nutty texture when combined with the chocolate. Really delicious. Would go back for more! We saw a unique hibiscus with chocolate but didn’t end up buying it because there were no samples available (you can sample everything else).

👌 rarely to find a real coffee place in Lisbon, here’s the right one. Filtered coffee and cold brew are tasty and deep. As for the chocolate 🙈 it’s another world, just pass by and try them all 👌

Definitely a must go place Best chocolate bar in town, best brownie I’ve eaten in my life and an amazing coffee. Cozy and small place. Not a place to stay long but a short visit 5-10 minutes

If you are into chocolates look no further. Indulge into hand made chocolate treats and amazing hot chocolate or coffee. Probably both the best I had in Portugal. This is nothing if you are into Lindt and Kinder chocolates. This is a place for the chocolate enthusiast. And boy is it worth it.

Chocolate art at it’s most elevated and purest form. My dear friend Danai took me, my wife and a friend to this shop while on a walking tour of Lisbon. All the chocolates on offer are 50% dark or more and there is a wide assortment to choose from. We tried various styles starting with hazelnuts, cherry, toffee and turmeric flavoured dark chocolate along with a take away bag. Once you try this it’s very impossible to go back to normal chocolates. The coffee is brilliant too and the staff are a cheerful and knowledgeable bunch. Very cozy atmosphere. Must stop place in Lisbon for chocolate lovers.

The best coffee I've ever tried, and an awesome piece of chocolate to go with it

My favourite spot to pick up a coffee in Lisbon. The chocolates are to die for (you get to select a piece with every coffee you buy), and oh my, the coffee.. 😍 - HIGHLY recommend ! (Also try their brownies and other chocolate based snacks!)

The woman that was serving the coffee didn't know what a flatwhite was, clearly. From the last 2 days that I went there, there was a nice guy making the coffees, and charged me 3eur for a flatwhite. Only one day later, there was this woman who said that she made me a latte instead of a flatwhite (even though I ordered a flatwhite), and then she said she could change it but charged me 50cts. more. Worst experience and milky flatwhite.

Best chocolate you'll ever eat anywhere. Don't expect fancy chocolate, because what you will discover is real, basic chocolate, mostly dark chocolate, of the best quality you can imagine. I lived many years in Switzerland and I don't hesitate to say that this little shop sells chocolate undoubtly of quality orders of magnitude better than, Swiss, Belgian ou French, just to name a few.

Excellent coffee with a strong flavour to it, the staff was kind and polite with me and they gave me a free sample of chocolate to try out. Not a big fan of chocolate, but theirs was unique with an amazing strong and earthy taste to it.

Chocolate Quente is sooo good! Got a large Chocolate Quente (Hot Chocolate) and it is like a bar of 70% dark chocolate in liquid form. It is so good. We really need a do-over with hot chocolate in the states because it is just garbage compared to hot chocolate in Lisbon. We also got a little bag of Caramelized Almonds covered in 70% Chocolate and Fleur de Sel (fancy French sea salt), and also got a Chocolate Bar with Hazelnut. All of it was delicious. A heavenly place for dark chocoholics.

We went for a drink and to check out the chocolate. The chocolate flavors are really good. We had also a small coffee shot and a chocolate drink. It is a raw taste so if you are into softer tastes, get something else. I liked it, it was different. We got pistachios, chilli, berries and salty caramel flavored chocolate. They make all the chocolate there so it is a good reason to support them.

Saw this place reviewed on a CNBC article before our trip and it did not disappoint. Sadly, we stopped by in the evening so I could not try their coffee without risking my sleep schedule. We did, of course, get several kinds of chocolate for takeaway and it's awesome. I'd give more stars if I could.

Happy to find this chocolate cafe with house-made gourmet dark chocolate and locally roasted coffee. The coffee is quite good, complex, medium roast, and expertly brewed. The chocolate sorbet was silky and the perfect treat for a hot day in the garden across the street.

Best hot chocolate in Lisbon! Quite possibly in your life. They also serve very good coffee and in-house made chocolate bars, with cherries, ginger, and other additions. It's a tiny place with only a few tables but it's in a nice area to hang out so grab your hot chocolate to go and head over to the park across the street.

We had the best oat latte in Lisbon here. It was silky smooth and the coffee also came with a complementary piece of chocolate.

This chocolate is so good. We have many chocolatiers in Seattle Washington and this is better! 100 percent dark with ginger and pistachio (just with cocoa butter) we’re my faves.

👍 Nice spot, cool interior, busy at all hours and with a great menu. Juices and smoothies are good, food is hit or miss. Eggs and burger weren’t perfect, but we tried other dishes and they were fine. Reservation is definitely recommended.
