A nice walk to this store. Totally worth it. One of the best I have tried in Lisbon. Highly recommend if you have the mood for a long walk.

The best pastel de nata I have ever tasted. The espresso is excellent - so the combination is just perfect. Furthemore I found the service so friendly which gave me so good experience. They have on the 2d floor an area with tables with air conditioner. Everything is very clean and the design is so nice. I could not find anything bad. They are really perfect!

We came at around 10:00am for breakfast. We had the ham and cheese croissant, pasteis de nata and cappuccinos. There was not much seating downstairs but there was lots of seating upstairs. The ham and cheese croissant was my favourite. It was flaky - the cheese was savoury and had just the right amount of ham in it. They also cut it in half for us which was great. The pasteis de nata was not the best I've had. It was pretty flaky but the custard wasn't creamy enough for me. The cappuccino's were okay - they weren't strong enough but overall did the trick of waking me up As for service - I gave it a 3 as there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and there was no where to put the dirty dishes as the bucket was all full.

It’s on our list to visit Pastel de Nata as recommended as one of the best. Overall, happy with our experience We loved the setup of the cafe, the art, and the ambiance. We’ve ordered 2 americanos, 4 Pastel de Nata, and Croissant Porto for a total of 7.50€ The crust of the tart’s crunchy, crispy and taste good, as for the filling it’s too fluid instead of thick creaminess that we’re expecting though we loved that it’s not too sweet, perfect for us; not to forget the croissant porto - can tell that it’s fresh and soft 😋 And we loved their americano coffee intensity and just nice portion as well, perfect combo with our sweet pastries.

I stopped by for a quick bite after visiting the castle. I ordered one fluffy croissant and pastel de nata with lemonade. The egg tart was good, but the croissant wasn't so crispy and the texture was a bit thick. The lemonade was made in a different way with what I used to have. Mostly like fusion water with mint. So I gave it on average stars.

Fantastic pastries, freshly baked. It's small downstairs, but if you are eating in, there is a seating area above which is roomy. The price is really reasonable. The Euro to sterling conversion makes Portugal a great value money holiday. Highly recommended eatery, you will have to climb a step hill to find it. It is worth it. A bonus is you are off the beaten track, which is welcome. The quality of their wares is high.

I’ve tried many pastel de nata spots in Lisbon and Portugal in general and I do not say this lightly when I say that they have the best pastel de nata I have tried. It’s so creamy, the crust so flaky, and the consistency is spot on. The area is also perfect being in the middle of Alfama. It’s also a spot the free walking tour of Alfama took us so you know it’s a solid location.

One of the best pastel de nata i had while visiting Portugal - we tried a bunch. Delicate custard and a light, well-layered crust which was durable yet easy to bite through. Really really really good. A great treat after walking uphill for 30 minutes!

After going around the town to try various pasteis de Belem/natal, I found this to be the best shop! They coat the top in a a thin layer of sugar that caramelizes to perfection. Theirs is absolutely delicious. They also have a great coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. There was a croissant with port wine my friend had that was great. The lines weren’t as long as other places but it was still busy. They know what they are doing to get you in and out. It’s a treat worth the hike up the hill!

Best nata in town😋 Every tart is fresh baked. It’s so crispy outside and so tender inside. It’s reward as best tart in 2019. It’s definitely well deserved!

Stop here for a coffee break and try their famous 'Pastel de nata' (a Portuguese egg custard tart pastry). They are freshly made with a crunchy shell on the outside and still warm custard inside. I ordered two coffees and pastries. The service was fast and accurate. I noticed that the ladies behind the counter looked serious and rather anxious to serve all the different tourists. Non of the customers in line with me greeted them or said thank you. Remember, sometimes a smile goes a long way and it's not easy to serve so many customers from different countries and cultures.

The Pasteis De Nata was NOT overhyped. It was absolutely delicious. If I could I would eat it all day every day. The Pasteis De Nata was heavier (with more custard) than the other ones I’ve tried and the crust was flakier as well. It was the perfect balance between sweetness and creaminess. I want to go back tomorrow for more.

"Pastelaria Santo Antonio" is a beautiful place with a great and unique selection. They won the best Pastel de Nate award in 2019. They bake all pastries themselves, inside, and you can see it. There are always people. The lines I saw were between 5-10 minutes. The place has a second floor, where you can sit and eat. Make sure you take a look at it from the outside. It has excellent tiles like paintings.

pastry shop in the heart of the Sant'Antonio hill. very clean and frequented by families and tourists. The port wine croissant and the various desserts present here are delicious. The lack of tables outside or enough seats inside is a bit inconvenient

This place is located in historic city centre and offers variety of pastry. The prices are very good, products were fresh and staff professional, English speaking and friendly. Payment by card is possible. There are however not many places for sitting, therefore you might yourself find waiting for free table.

We happened to stay a close by, which was excellent as the place is not exactly the easiest to come. But it would still be worth the visit. Excellent coffee and delicious, freshly baked pastries. The pricing is really good, excellent quality/quantity vs price ratio.

I thought the pastel de nata were too sweet, not custardy and eggy and not flaky enough. It was my first time trying a Portugese croissant so nothing to compare it to, but not bad. Wifi is pretty weak there.

Amazing Pastel de nata - best award 2019 but do not underestimate the croissant with Oporto wine which is even better!!! All freshly handmade . Good price and fast service. Could eat tons of them…

Was here @ 10am on a weekday. The place was quiet which was perfect for getting an upstairs seat by the wind I looking up the street to the castle. Tuna sandwich was simple but good. The Pasteis de nata was still warm from the AM batch. Nice spot to stop by before heading uphill towards the castle.

Wow! The pastel de nata was incredible. Very flakey and buttery. Great custard. We didn't get to make it to the famous spot in Lisbon (it's 35 minutes across the city), but I imagine these are similar based on what I've heard. The eclair with egg yolk shavings was okay. I would just get double the pastel de nata though. Upstairs is super nice seating area. Open windows. Free tap water

Amazing pastel de nata, one of the best or maybe the best I tried since I moved to Lisbon. The croissant was really good, too. The coffee (doble expresso) was so so. It was very strong and lacked flavor and aroma. I will be back again for the pastel de nata. It was delicious!!!!

During our tour of the charming Alfama area, we came across Santo Antonio. Despite the long line, the staff had an effective system in place that kept things moving swiftly. And of course, the pastel de nata lived up to its delicious reputation as always. Don't miss the chance to try it out if you're in the area! And eating on the street is just as fun.

Great bakkery with delicious pastel de nata. Specifically of this place are their croissants with port wine. The pastel de nata and other pastries are delicious and crunchy. The croissants are not as good as French croissants. Downstairs they do notbhave a lot of space but upstairs there is a lot of space to sit and look out of the window. You can also see them prepare the pastries!

During my visit to Lisbon I have tried 6 of the best place serving Pastel De Nata, and I can say this is one of the best pastel de nata I had while visiting Lisbon. Filled with custard and light like you want another one, layered crust, don’t forget the cinnamon! I can’t forget the Espresso it was a great 👍🏼

Superb egg cream nestled amidst the folds of crispy, flaky pastry. It is a bit sweeter than the other pastel de nata prepared by other confectioneries but still so good. You'd want another after ticking into one of these.

Densely crowded place: pick up the time of your (unless you ram into it by accident). Lines are long negatively affecting your service time. Both food and coffee are good (Portuguese coffee is almost always good, unless capsuled). Priced reasonably, so stop shoveling change in your pocket. Enjoy your pit stop! Hope this helps.
