I wanted to love this place. It has diverse healthy options and a chill cafe vibe, hence the two stars, but everything else was disappointing. It’s extremely overpriced for the area, service was not good and the food not very flavorful. I ordered a blueberry smoothie, which was very thin (think juice) and small. It came not even full to the top (the photo is after one sip). Drank it in probably 5 sips. I also ordered the tofu bowl. I waited for my food with my empty smoothie glass in front of me for 45 minutes (I watched the people beside me leave, new people come in, order their food and get it before I ever saw my bowl). I also made concerned eye contact with my waiter several times and he never came over to check on me. I called over another waitress who was near and she was kind and helpful. When I told them how long I’d waited they offered 20% off which I do appreciate. But honestly the food wasn’t impressive. The tofu was over cooked and the bowl while beautiful and fresh had very little flavor. I left here hungry and annoyed at myself for waiting so long for this food. I know other people who came here and really liked it so maybe my experience was a fluke, but I doubt I’ll return to find out.

Very nice place with healthy options for brunch & lunch. Non stop kitchen until the afternoon. We really liked the avocado toasts & the burger. The juices & smoothies were also very nice. Coffee was delicious. All the staff were super nice & friendly. Very nice atmosphere, calm & chilled.

Really very nice. Ate here this morning and they have a very good brunch selection for meat eaters, veggies and vegans. 20 euro for 2 of us with juice and hot drinks. The only reason for the 4 stars is because we got our drinks about 5 minutes after our food, Other than that, staff very friendly and quick to help!

Nice place to start the day. The poached eggs are so juicy and the bacon tasty and crispy. The yoghurt bowl was topped with mango, banana and granola. When you mix everything together the toppings seem to disappear a bit in the yoghurt but the taste remains good! They also have great strong coffee the perfect wake up!

The yogurt bowl at Frutaria was a delightful treat. The yogurt itself was creamy and flavorful, and it was accompanied by a generous serving of fresh fruits, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey. Each spoonful was a burst of deliciousness, and the combination of textures made it a satisfying and enjoyable breakfast choice. However, I must admit that the orange juice I ordered didn't meet my expectations. It lacked the vibrant and refreshing taste I was hoping for. If I had the option, I would skip the orange juice and explore other beverage choices on the menu. Nevertheless, the overall experience at Frutaria was positive. The ambiance of the place was inviting, with a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring that I had a pleasant dining experience.

Decent variety of vegan options! Friendly staff, and good atmosphere. The coffee also wasnt to bad. The spinach bun didn't taste all that fresh, and the tzatziki was a bit watery.

Tolles Ambiente!

The food was excellent and very tasty yet also nutritious. I had the Good morning brunch and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and delicious. The cappuccino was the best I’ve had in Europe so far. The atmosphere is nice and not too loud. The service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend you check this place out.

Great place for brunch. We stopped in looking for a healthy brunch and were very happy with our breakfast. Everything was made fresh and very tasty. It was very busy, and is a popular place to dine. Overall, I'd highly recommend. I really enjoyed the yogurt bowl, cappuccino, and avocado toast.

I’ve been coming to this place over the last 5 years and have watched it slowly get worse and worse. It has turned into a complete tourist trap. For the breakfast menu (17 euros) you get a miniature pancake, miniature glass of orange juice that’s more ice than juice, a poor excuse for a salad, bacon that looks old. It’s just so unfortunate and disappointing. There are a lot of wonderful places for breakfast in Lisbon, you can go down the street and go to Nicolau instead. Don’t waste your time and money here.

We went around 15h it was empty, so got our food fast. Brunch menu was at 17e which is fine, it does get more expensive when you take something else (considering it will be the same portion as the brunch). The drinks are cheap though and the watermelon mix was nice. I did not try a lot of different food. There is air conditioning (too bad the door stayed open, not very earth friendly). The ambiant music was a bit loud for my taste, it breaks the calm mood.

Super cute Coffee with awesome breakfast! We had a savory (avocado&feta) and sweet (french toast) meal. Both were delicious, fresh and flavorful. We apparently had to wait a bit too long (~15 minutes) which for me is not long at all, concerning it is freshly made. But because of that "delay" we got free fresh orange juice. Overall the experience was amazing and a perfect start in the day!!

as someone who loves to go out for brunch, I wouldn't exactly come back since there are a lot of brunch places in Lisboa. the food is good, the waiters are nice. the place is a bit small so it gets crowded easily but I can't say it wasn't a nice experience.

Lovely cafe, with a delicious menu and lots of choice. Great service and very reasonably priced. Near to bus station so a great place to fuel up before you begin your tours.

Amazing restaurant with fresh ingredients. I was very pleased with the quality of the ingredients and care out into each item. My children like it and they felt it was similar to healthy meals.l they eat at home. Good to experience good food during travels. I highly recommend this place for breakfast, healthy lunch or snacks. Just to add, the service and staff were wonderful.

Frutaria was a delightful experience! The food selection is quite nice and incorporates vegan and vegetarian options. We had the breakfast coupons from the hostel(WLFT) so it was very well worth the price with a handsome portion of muesli+fruits, a coffee and butter toast.

Such a cute little cafe! We did breakfast here one morning and loved it. The staff was super friendly and service was quick, which was great as we had a tour to get to that morning. We all got avocado toast as well as coffees. The atmosphere and decor were nice and they weren't too busy at 8am.

Very many good vegan options by surprise and the food was fresh and nutritious. I had the Full Vegan with juice and tea, americano, and vegan sandwich to split between two and a americano. The bill was only 28 euros so it seemed like a good deal for a huge meal. The vegan pancake and oats were good, and the produce was fresh.

I’m going straight to the point! This place it’s SIMPLE, yet OUTSTANDING. They do know what they are doing, with simple quality ingredients, and awesome combinations, make sure you try their pressed juices, pancakes, and pretty much everything on their menu. The place definitely knows how to serve TOP quality food! Delightful experience! Super recommended!

Lovely place with nice interior. They offer very good vegan, vegetarian & gluten free food. Also they make fresh juice out of fruits. I ate a Porto burger which was really delicious. They make it with spinach, portobello mushrooms and a redroot-coloured bun. Absolutely recommend this place. Edit: We‘ve been here a second time on Sunday. The place was so crowded that we had to wait outside. While we waited there, a waiter gave us already the menu and after 5 minutes of waiting we were seated on the best place (the couch). Since it was so busy, even the owner of the place helped out. I ordered the Bella bagel, which was a very extraordinary bagel made with carrot hummus, caramelised onions, spinach, fennel, candied tomatoes and pear slices. Also it was not Problem to get the cappuccino with oat milk instead of regular milk. We‘ll definitely come again, when we‘re in Lisbon.

Cute little Brunch cafe with relaxed vibe right in the downtown Lisbon just off Rossio square. Arrived at 9:30 and place was already packed, but I got a beautiful table right by the window. I had the Açaí Bowl (8,50€) and it was very good. What makes this bowl special is the delicious home-made granola with cashews, goji and sunflower seeds. The Bowl was topped with strawberries, banana and basil leaves (this gave it a nice unique flavor) I give it 4 out of 5 stars because the Açaí purée was almost frozen and I like it smooth and creamy. Suggestion for the kitchen: how about offering additional toppings for purchase such as peanut butter or chia seeds? They also have lots of Fresh Juices on the menu. I had the BEET IT Juice (4€) with red apples orange, carrot and beetroot and it was presented in a very nice way. Almost all of their ingredients are organic and locally sourced and they offer lots of vegan options. The service was top! Overall a very nice breakfast experience - thank you Cafe Frutaria Team.

Delicious breakfast, everything is made freshly. Prices are tourist prices (~10€ per dish) but given the location this is still reasonable. 1€ surcharge for oat milk however is quite pricey. Would still come here here again :)

Lovely brunch place! Was recommended to us by locals! The food is tasty and portions are good, for the Brunch sets (I had the Vegan). We did get a table on a Sunday without booking, always appreciated.

Fresh juices, fresh ingredients and great taste! I had a ginger Ninja and open face toast sandwich - eggs/avocado and both were perfectly done. And did I say carrot/pistachio/chocolate was one of the best ever - not too sweet and you could taste each ingredient!

Loved the outside seating, acaii bowl (unsweetened) and iced latte. A cool place to grab some breakfast before exploring Lisbon.

Great healthy options . I had a smoothie which was great . Waiters are super friendly but I had to have my drink for take away, since the shop smelled like sweat, almost like a gym. Impossible to stay , which is a shame because it looked cute.

Went twice to Frutaria during my 4 days in Lisbon because I liked it so much. Great variety of food like Smoothies, Smoothie bowls, pancakes, mimosas, breakfast eggs and even burgers. A lot of vegan options 😊 you can also order your coffee with oat, almond or soy milk. The staff is very friendly. For everyone coming from foreign countries with less sun: get the brazilian bowl! (Acai bowl), nothing tastes more incredible than fresh fruits.
