Superb. We ate pastries all over Portugal (because why wouldn’t you?!?) and their house specialty, the Pastel de Alfama, was the best. But everything in this place is super good. Most of the customers were locals, even though it's a highly traveled tourist area. The hostess/owner is kind, gregarious, and hilarious, and is a great guide to Portugal's world of high-calorie delights.

Wow I love this coffee shop and pastry. It is such. Nice and cozy atmosphere. All of the pastries I had were delicious. The owner is so friendly and helpful, not to mention brilliant: in the week I spent coming here, I didn’t see him run into a language he couldn’t speak!

Here is the one of best egg tart place in Lisbon! But it tastes better when it is warm. I think here is more tasty than Belem.

We had the pasteis de nata here. It was served warm. The custard was too watery and the pastry wasn't flaky enough. The service was friendly. Would not recommend for pasteis de nata

During our visit to Portugal in September 2021, this was our favorite shop of the entire trip. My wife and I made it a daily routine to come here for breakfast and espressos. They offer the best pasteis de nata in the city as well as several other unique sweet and savory options. I hope to come back here someday.

Very nice family business (I assume) with delicious pastries and for a good price. We bought salty and sweet ones and got some juice as well. The person that helped us was so kind and helpful.

I came across this bakery while walking through the streets of Alfama. The bakery intrigued me with its offer, in the end I bought a cheese bun and a bun with ham and tomato. It was really tasty, I recommend visiting. The gentleman was very nice, he was probably the owner. The pastry was fresh

A great option for breakfast if you're staying in Alfama. Really lovely sweets-- especially pastel de nata and bolo de arroz. There are a few tables for seating and the service is so friendly.

This place was awesome both by the best pastels de Nata I’ve tried (this is my third trip to Lisbon) and there are definitely the best! Also they were super kind and loving. We tried a bolo de arroz with chocolate because they suggested we do, brought it to the airport and have absolutely loved it! What a lovely great place with lovely human beings ♥️✨

Recommended. Best bakery/ coffee shop in this neighborhood . I always, bought my breakfast and pastries (to have on the go) from here during our break in Lisbon. Frederico and his father were very friendly and helpful. They speak many languages to help their clients with their choices. Will go there again if I find myself in Lisbon

A true Amfama Pastry shop selling delicious traditional backed goods an good coffee. The Shopowner kindly explained to us the different sorts of Pastel and even told us about hidden gems of Lisbon and the surrounding area! We visited Alfama Doce every morning of our stay and would do so every time we come back.

Went to Alfama Doce for a deliciously simple breakfast of pastiches and was not disappointed in the slightest. So so glad we went here! We only had the chance to go once as they were closed when we tried to go back but I would do anything for another one of their coconut pastiche!

We found the amazing reviews of this place to be absolutely correct! Well worth a visit if you are in need of a rest whilst wondering about in Alfama. The price is cheap, the cheapest Pastel de Nata €0.85(as of when we went), yet one of the best tasting ones from our whole trip! The guys running Alfama Doce are excellent and we would highly recommend others to head over and try them out! Also the codfish cakes were delicious and must be tried!

We were warmly welcomed and were able to choose many goodies from the counter. All baked goods were juicy and delicious - the baker knows his trade. It was our fourth place to have breakfast in Lisbon and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. See picture in addition, we had two more pastries that we got later. Total price 9 euros (Original) In der aktuellen Lage haben verständlicherweise viele Läden geschlossen. Durch Zufall sind wir auf diesen kleinen Laden gestoßen.
