👍👍 Great service, decent espresso - both are rare for the area. The portions are big enough to get full. Nice music and vibe. They have craft beers on tap as well. People often mention coffee, good, breakfast, great, eggs, Lisbon, burrito, friendly, nice, staff,

Really good and fast service. The coffee is good, albeit not mindblowing. But they make up on it on the food - i had a sourdough sandwich with avocado, kimchi and fried egg - it was really good. Also the portions are big and you will be full. It is a good alternative to the other breakfast caffès in the neighbourhood, where have to wait almost always.

Lovely breakfast spot. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast burrito, great flavours, sauces and well cooked eggs all wrapped up. Good strong coffee as well, and great prices.

Varied breakfast and brunch cafe in the beautiful Barrio Alto. The dishes are fancy and appealing to the eye. The sourdough bread is a bit too toasted. The coffee is strong in roast, unfortunately, the coffee was too quickly cold and out the back it was slightly acidic-pappy. The staff is very helpful, but the drinks were sometimes served after the food. Would give 3.5 stars - since no half stars are possible there are only three. Worth a visit, but not a 4.7 location.

Brunch here was a great! The staff was quick and friendly. And the food was tasty, and it came out surprisingly fast! I ordered a latte, scrambled eggs, and banana bread — everything was solid. Would recommend!

Normally I don’t like bougie brunch but this place is great! Food is delicious and well priced. Coffee and orange juice both tasted great. Service was friendly and prompt. Great for a quick bite (they have takeout) or to sit and chill with friends

Ate with my family for breakfast. The tropical vegan smoothie was sooooo good. We really like our V breakfast burritos and coffee. Recommend for people needing V options on the go. The staff were super friendly. Beautiful location!

These smash burgers are delicious, flavourful, and heartwarming. They are possibly the best smash burgers I have ever had. There are only 4 types on the menu and I encourage you to try any one of them. The chips are home made french fries cooked to be crispy and light, the perfect accompaniment.

We had granola bowl and the fruit cake with yoghurt. The cake was amazing!! We loved both options and they are a great size so super good value for money. The coffee is some of the best I’ve had in Lisbon - honestly would recommend. The outdoor space is really nice in the sunshine and there is also seating inside. The staff are really cool and give great service. I’ll be coming back.

Run, don’t walk to get this jalapeño avocado toast. So perfectly spiced and fresh ingredients. Strong coffee and chill vibes (thankfully not overtaken by laptops). Good music and good (albeit slow) service but everything is worth the wait!

I was a tiiiiny little bit disappointed by the place coming in with high expectations judging by the reviews. Visually, the coffee looked amazing but I wasn't much of a fan of its taste. But some plus points for having some dairy-free milk options! For the scrambled egg sandwich, it wasn't exactly to my liking because I just can't stand raw onion (that's a super personal thing though 😁) But for the positive parts, the waiters are suuuper friendly and attentive, the place has a great atmosphere and it's perfect for people watching. So I'd still come back when passing by Lisbon to give it another chance 😊

Bestes Frühstück local in Lissabon. Komme wieder wenn ich wieder in der Stadt bin. Danke für das Frühstückserlebnis

Neighbourhood Cafe in Lisbon is a really nice spot. We opted to sit outside and enjoyed a good cup of coffee since it was warm outside. To accompany it, we tried their pumpkin bread – a delightful choice. Even though they were out of cream, we didn't mind at all, as the bread itself was so tasty. The staff was friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. Overall, Neighbourhood Cafe offered a nice experience for us.

Neighbourhood cafe offers everything a traveller needs in a late morning breakfast with a wide range of delicious options and excellent coffee. I especially enjoyed the strong flavours of the coffee that pressed on the boarders of acidity and bitterness without being unbalanced. For food, my companion and I shared the pork eggs Benedict and the carne burrito. The pulled pork was well seasoned, moist, and flavourful with a subtle jalapeño kick. The staff was very kind and accommodating to provide us with two plates; pictured here is a half portion of the Benedict. The highlight of the burrito for me was the salsa with bright, juicy, invigorating flavours that cut the richness of the eggs and chorizo. It was so good here that even on a short trip in Lisbon, I would eat here twice.

A bustling yet inviting café! The food was exceptionally delicious and freshly prepared. The customer service was impeccable. I thoroughly enjoyed their dishes and would highly recommend visiting Neighbourhood if you’re in search of tasty, freshly made brunch options! We ordered 6 dishes including the breakfast burritos, avocados and toast, toasties and Turkish eggs!

Really cute spot, perfect for sitting outside and people watching in a very picturesque area. Food is delicious and fresh and probably one of the best breakfast burritos ive ever had. Service was basically nonexistent, but I was solo and guess I didn’t need much!

Nice location. I was new to the area, moved in a few days ago and got a really good impression from this cafe. A friendly , service oriented atmosphere. Professional, yet not stuck up. I visited another cafe/ restaurant the same day and just didn't like the stuck up fancy feeling. I'm a hometown girl hehe The Neighborhood Cafe is definitely a nice choice for coffee or lunch. It was a pleasant experience. For some reason, I also think the cute and friendly foreign guys there attract girls too. But to be fair, I also saw lots of seemingly straight guys. So seems like a really quality place. You can tell they care for sure.

On my last day in Lisbon (today) I stumbled across this place, it looked super cool and hip so I decided to go in and get my usual caffeine fix - a flat white with oatmilk. I was not disappointed at all!! The coffee was freaking amazing, the vibe was super cool and the staff was super friendly. Totally gonna visit again to try more of their stuff when im back in Lisbon.

Neighbourhood Cafe, Lisbon: This was featured on “Topjaw” on youtube and I thought it was worth a visit. We arrived early morning from Porto and the first café we went to was Australian. Go figure! I think we prolly had the owner greet and serve us as he spoke with an Aussie accent. It’s a cheerful spot – porcelain blue on the outside and the interior is kept minimalist with a long open kitchen counter and concept. We got vegan burrito (it’s going to get messy) and the beautifully presented Turkish eggs that wallow in a bed of yoghurt, and the swirls of tomato and chilli butter were eye candy and taste bombs. Coffee is slightly acidic but nothing jarring. It's a lovely spot for people watch and sits in a neighbourhood of the exciting cafes. #eatstylishtravelstylish

Good place to have a vegan burrito stuffed with tofu, to get some protein, beans and avocado. It could be more flavour some but the sauce aside did. Together with the coffee and the orange juice it was a lovely combo. Definitely a good option for a vegan breaky. Unfortunately the street in front of the cafe is usually super busy, so it’s pretty noisy

I think this became my favorite breakfast spot in Lisbon. The breakfast burrito was super delicious and their coffee was great! I loved the atmosphere as well. There are not many tables inside but they have outdoor sitting in the street. The prices are good, considering the big portions. Overall a very nice cafe to enjoy the good weather with great breakfast and coffee!

Favorite breakfast spot in Lisbon! The food was incredible, especially the homemade pumpkin bread and breakfast burrito. The avocado toast was great too! The servers were friendly and food came pretty fast. Definitely wish we were able to go here more than one time. We sat inside with our toddler (18 months) and she did fine sitting on the bench. Highly recommend!

Really amazing cafe. The whole experience was a total pleasure. You can see the cafe has a real personality behind it due to the kind of people that work there, there is a really nice chilled atmosphere which makes you feel at ease. The staff and owner (I believe) were very friendly and explained the menu to us in detail and were happy to have a bit of a chat with you. The food was…. out of this world, the vegan burrito was so yum, there was so much flavour to it, every bite was 10/10, I only wish they had a vegan cheese to go with it like for the non vegan burrito, however that is only a minor personal preference. If you’re in Lisbon and don’t visit at least once, you’re losing out big time. I would happily give this a 15/10. 👏🏼🙌🏼

This is a great spot to visit for brunch, and they have the best coffee! I'd recommend getting either the breakfast burrito or the Turkish eggs. The smoothies are a nice addition too.

We loved the Neighbourhood Cafe and its ambience. For morning caffeine we ordered ☕️ and also a hot chocolate! I would totally recommend this Hot Chocolate! And it turns out the hot chocolate was the best thing I ever had! The Avocado toast and the spinach mushroom toast was also good! Would definitely recommend! Mushroom was a little too salty but maybe you could inform the staff about it. Nothing to do about the restaurant but the area where the restaurant is located is a bit sketchy and you may get a lot of racism if you’re non-Portugese.

Had a lovely brunch here on our last day and honestly wished we’d come every day before that, the breakfast burrito was so tasty and everything was very reasonably priced! Will definitely be back again next time we’re in the city.

Just moved to Lisbon some weeks ago and did not knew back than, that I would spent more on coffee then on rent in Lisbon.. After exploring a lot of cafes, I can only say it’s really one of my favourite places, because the service is very friendly, always smiling and quick as hell… Just to give you an example: One day I was so lost, because I did not knew where to go for surfing and how to get the train ticket. Thanks to Fabian again! It was damn good at Praia do Guincho…and these last supper shirts they wear, do not only look great, they perfectly match this cafe (I got my own, of course). These guys really spent a lot to focus on the real details that matter. I can only recommend to go there in the morning and enjoy a morning coffee in the sunny streets of santos. Believe me, it’s great!

Overall lovely brunch spot with yummy breakfast burritos. My friends also got the Carnitas Benedict which they enjoyed. However we were sat outside over a drain which smelt of poo and there were flies everywhere even on the inside. Service was satisfactory.

I was ready for heaven after reading the reviews, but it was a nice yet fairly normal sidewalk cafe experience. The menu items are very creative and different from the usual fare. The coffee is indeed strong, but not too much so. It's be glad to return here again!

Our first meal after landing in Lisbon, this was a great little cafe with awesome brunch food and coffee. The server also gave us advice on where to get a SIM card, and parking recos nearby. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito, and iced coffee on a hot day. What sim cards right next door at the convenience store are cheap!

I have been here so many times and I always order the same. Their pumpkin special is absolutely the best! Sometimes you have to wait till there is a table available, but it's worth the wait.

Neighbourhood Cafe is great, awesome food, good coffee, and super friendly staff! During our visit in Lisbon we came here a few days in a row for their coffee and breaky burrito 🌯. We also tried their Turkish eggs which were also excellent. At night the place turns into a bar you can grab smash burgers at - I highly recommend checking them out.

We were attracted by the menu to eat our last breakfast in Lisbon. They were out (on a Monday at 11.30h) of the Mexican pulled pork with poached eggs, the one I especially came for 😞 Instead I took scrambled eggs on toast, with a ‘secret sauce’, so I asked without coriander. I got the dish with a topping of onion, tomato and coriander and a bland sauce. My girlfriend had the eggs with Japanese style poached eggs and they were nice, with a sort of miso sauce and sesame. The mint tea (not fresh, but filtered on the spot) was nice and the OJ’s (which took a bit long) too. Staff was very friendly.

Amazing café place, with delicious food. They have vegan options too. Coffee is really rich, creamy and tasty. If I could I would give 10 stars. :D

Had a nice lunch here. Staff and service was good. In a cool neighbourhood. Coffee was nice. I had the Turkish eggs as they were gluten free. They had some really good gluten free bread to go with it. However I found the balance of the dish a little off. Perhaps this is normal for Turkish eggs and something more like a Shakshouka would work better. I found the yoghurt was too much and needed something else. Some may enjoy it though.

Amazing location, coffee and staff. But the food disappointed me to be honest. I ordered the pulled pork on toast woth eggs and the seasoning was not well balanced. You should definitely try this place out though!

Really wanted to love this place, and will maybe come back to try another time to see if food is better - but for this time; the atmosphere is great, the guy serving me was super sweet, the location is awesome and the beverages were all good - but the food was disappointing. Looked really delicious but the poached eggs were barely cooked at all, the accompanying bread consisted of stale loaf-ends and there just wasn’t really any flavour to the dish at all. :(

I heard about this place thanks to Topjaw in Youtube. All I know is that the pumpkin loaf special tastes amazing. A little bit sweet, but hella filling. The cappuccino was on the stronger side, in comparison with other specialty coffee shops I went to. Atmosphere is cozy, staff is friendly for sure. As I took a look around for other people's orders - everything looked tasty.
