A good supermarket offering a wide selection of fresh and packaged foods. They have a decent monger and butcher sections. Their fresh fruit and vegetables section is not particularly impressive, but even if limited it still has several organic options. Definitely a good place to come for your groceries when you are in town

Freshly squeezed orange juice 1 litre for €3.49. There’s small bits in there but it’s not an issue. It tastes amazing, not too sweet nor sour. The supermarket has almost everything you need.. The seafood and meat look very fresh and nice if you are buying groceries.

One of the best market stores with a good selection inside the city. There are other markets, but they are smaller or outside the town. Personal is very friendly and ready to help. The selection is good. Please notice it's not the market like ShopRite in the USA. It's much-much smaller. It also has "Pastel de Nata" for 2.10 euro for 6 items. Which is three times cheaper than anywhere on the Lisbon streat.

First 3 days in Lisbon, I purchased my groceries from the local convenience stores. I thought the pricing was somewhat steep because I've heard about low cost of living in Portugal. Then I found this grocery chain store, Pingo Doce. I then realized I've purchasing from tourist traps for 3 days. Everything at Pingo Doce was so inexpensive and made of good quality. I spent about 35 euros for food and beverages and this purchase lasted about 5 days for 5 people's breakfast and wine. Hey Airbnb tourists, I just saved you $100+. You're welcomed.

Bought shrimps yesterday and we got food poisoning from it. It is the only thing both my partner and I ate, so it must be from the shrimps. A disappointing day, especially since it is New Year's Eve today and we are sick in bed!

Definitely one of the best supermarkets I have found in Lisbon, they have fresh orange juice, you do it with the machine immediately, 3.69 euros, a whole liter of fresh orange juice, while in any bar/restaurant or coffee shop, or no matter where, you will find it super expensive for just a small glass, then they offer menus, I got one for 3.49 euros and it was delicious! best option to save some money! Recommended!

It’s tight and compact, but it has most of the items you need for a quick or bigger shop. Staff is polite and helpful, even (especially) with non-native speakers. Convenient location to access on foot. Good, but small wine selection.

Has almost all you need. Large bread and pastry department. Fresh vegetables and a good range of wine etc. Best supermarket we found downtown.

I luv this Pingo. It is so cute and has elevators! The food is fresh and they try different stuff every now and then I just wished they had more vegetarian options

Not a very big shop but we bought everything what we needed for 7 days stay. Fresh bakery every day, great friuits where we buy half pinneaple, or half melon. In UK you need buy everything in whole packs in here single or whole packs how many need. Staff very friendly and helpful even when don't speak english.

Perfect little grocery store for everything I needed to make a few meals during my stay in Lisbon. Really nice hot bar and prepared food section to grab a quick lunch/dinner. The staff were all super helpful and friendly!

Part of a Portuguese chain of supermarkets which are generally reliably good. Had hot chicken from counter which was good, only disappointing thing was no fresh milk

Not as horrendous as Cais do Sodré Pingo Doce, but you’re probably going to stand in a huge queue whilst staff stack stacked shelves. Sadly there aren’t many other choices for supermarkets so you have to brave waiting constantly. If you’re here long term it would make sense to do a Continente online shop.

Typical supermarket, good fresh bread, good portuguese pastries. Can pick up your essentials, toiletries etc, etc.

A small supermarket, but okay. Hilly area of the city, so not easy to reach if you have mobility issues.

Really nice supermarket. Had everything for cooking some pasta with pesto and some snacks. Was even possible to pay with card.

😠 Why don't you hire an English-speaking employee if you're a Colombo Continente client service? It's a place that many foreigners visit, so shouldn't the counselor know how to speak English? It's impossible for the staff to consult the customer only in Portuguese. I don't know anything else, but our...

😐 Nice shop with the usual products. Prices are more or less the same as the other supermarkets. My biggest issue is the completely unnecessary rude behaviour of the staff. I walked into the store through an apparent exit lane that had remained open, with no “exit” signage, as someone forgot to close...
