This place is just FANTASTIC! The staff is extremely kind and the service is really quick! The food is amazing (portion size and taste) and the price is quite fair. They gave my dog a bowl of water and treated him like royalty! The place is quite cool with a very nice vibe. I keep coming back everytime I’m in Lisbon. 100% recommended

Fantastic breakfast/brunch spot - probably the best we had while in Lisbon. Friendly service, cool atmosphere and great food. The coffee was good and strong and the juices were fresh. I had the Shashuka and it was delicious.

For breakfast lovers this is an excellent place, the variety of breakfasts and/or brunches is enormous, of all types and of all kinds. Also, the place opens relatively early compared to restaurants in Lisbon, so even those who like an early meal (08:00) will be able to get a response. The food is very tasty and varied, the service is pleasant, smiling and fast.

This is a beautiful little spot onlooking the park. The Time Out Market is always too busy with people and too hot inside so walk 50m over to Café Janis and you wont regret it. Very relaxing place with lovely staff and lot of different items on the menu, my favourite is the pulled pork sandwich

Great spot for a healthy breakfast. Tons of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. The coffee, tea, and house made juices are excellent. Food was very good. Poached eggs were cooked very well. Atmosphere was super cute with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Added bonus: One of the few breakfast places to offer take away! I did. this once in addition to dining here. Quality was still excellent.

Amazing brunch spot right behind the Timeout Market. Loved the vibe and the atmosphere. The servers were on point and the food was so good and fresh, you could feel the ingredients and their quality with each bite!

This is a tourist spot, more expensive than other restaurants in the area. The waiter was arrogant with is because we want to speak in Brazilian Portuguese (he was also Brazilian). The turmeric latte was delicious and I got the beetroot and burrata salad, however it did not contain the ingredients listed in the menu. It was not bad, but I would like to eat what I order not a different salad. For example, I don’t eat bread and the salad contained croutons (it was not listed), also it contained grapes and it did not have kale nor lentil. Overall, I was disappointed. I would not come back.

Spot near timeout market, great for breakfast. Coffee is very good and breakfast options are great for vegetarians and vegans. I highly recommend the shakshuka, the tomato is a little sweet and it comes garnished with pickled onion.

Turkish egg, scrambled egg and french toast were so good. We went twice for breakfast. Atmosphere is pretty. You can seat inside or outside according to availability. Staff is kind and friendly.

Great little brunch spot with delicious food and an airy atmosphere with high ceilings and doors open to the outside seating area. I found this restaurant after attempting a couple breakfast restaurants in Baxia that had long lines, but we were seated immediately here. I had the chocolate overnight oats and side of avocado, while my mom had the breakfast burrito. We also tried the juices and matcha latte and everything we ate / drank was amazing. Service was very good. Highly recommend for a lowkey & healthy brunch that’s also vegan-friendly!

Lovely breakfast and atmosphere on a rainy, cloudy morning. Highly recommend the mushroom bun and Mediterranean breakfast.

Got a take away oat latte from this place. Staff were really lovely and the barista was super friendly and attentive to the coffee. Coffee tasted good, very light creamy taste with next to no acidity or bitterness. There is outdoor seating and the morning lights the coffee shop making it a really beautiful spot for breakfast. The overgrown wildlife hanging above is also a gorgeous touch. Super funky coffee cup design too!

Love this food and the vibes of this place! I would only add bone spice dips option to menu as my was a little bit to spicy. We’ve ordered: vegan burrito, pulled pork sandwich and 1 x cappuccino and 2x black coffee and we paid around 40€

Great café, very friendly staff and food was very delicious. As a veggie, usually portions are poor and lacking in taste… not at Janis! So full of flavour and staff were so nice and very cool! Matcha latte was lovely and the girl even had it changed for me as accidentally warm not cold. Staff were so attentive!

Delicious breakfast! Very fast service. Beautiful decor with a great ambience. Vegetarian friendly too! Would highly recommend the full hearty breakfast which was healthy, flavorful, and so filling! Love the grilled halloumi and mushrooms.

Excellent brunch spot with a wide range of breakfast options including gluten-free dishes. The inside is really pretty too. They have outdoor seating as well!

Excellent location for breakfast and brunch. The atmosphere is really chilled and the food with their freshly squeezed juices was just great! I recommend you try any of their dishes with the local presunto (ham).

Very cosy café with friendly and efficient staff. The homemade granola was excellent and the waffle with hot chocolate was delicious as well. It has some tables outside where you can enjoy the sun even in the coldest days.

We ordered a shakshuka and yogurt with granola and fruits. Both were delicious, although slightly overpriced. The music is loud and the facilities aren't well maintained. The staff was attentive though.

The best breakfast in Lisbon !! We tried six different courses during our stay and every single one was absolutely amazing 😍 The staff is really kind and the place is so cosy. I recommend 100% 🥗🥪

The place itself is really beautiful and cosy. They are playing nice music in the bar. They serve good quality coctails. We tried moscow mule and Janis amaro spritz. Very tasty. Also fried calamari for starter is a good option. We ordered a bottle of organic red wine as well and it was great. The prices are fair and the stuff super polite and nice. All the 5 stars for this place! Full recommendation!

I had a great cup of Cappuccino with extra shot. Their avocado sandwich was good.

Great food and atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly service, excellent playlist going at appropriate volume to talk and work. Don’t depend on the WiFi. Much better for a meal with friends than for coworking.

We had breakfast and it was just what we were looking for! A good breakfast that allowed us to walk for hours and hours and not feel hungry! The portions were very satisfy and the taste was very good! They also had gluten free options which is important as we have one member of our family that cannot eat gluten.

I visited this place recently, and I must say the coffee here is absolutely amazing. The latte was also a delightful treat, and the shrimp sandwich was incredibly delicious. I love that this place is pet-friendly ❤️ However, I was a bit disappointed with the craft beer selection. I tried all three types, and two of them had a strong lemon flavor, which wasn't to my liking. The last one tasted exactly like Super Bock. Overall, it's a great spot for coffee and food, but the craft beer options might not be everyone's cup of tea.

I have only ever come here for drinks. They make the best espresso martini. I’ve also had really good red wine. My friend also loves their green juice. And another frequents here for tea. Overall it’s always good vibes in here. Server was also very friendly!

Stopped in for a few afternoon drinks and was very satisfied. The vibe is very cool and the drinks are delicious. Had to try the homemade Janis Amaro. The liquor was a nice mixture of sweet and subtle bitter of the herbs.

Wonderful service, smiling people and incredible healthy food. Good portions, nice presentation. The best way to start your day in Lisbon is having your breakfast or brunch there. Do not miss it!

Best coffee I’ve had the whole trip. Granola bowl was fantastic. Opens a bit earlier than other places. Life is good.

Compared to other 2 brunch places in Lisbon this one is big and airy, with a nice decor and most of the people working there are actually very nice. I liked that we could have a proper nice chill meal even if it was a busy Saturday. The coffee is great, they have the best speciality coffee a brunch place can offer and I did appreciate it. So, yes, I would definitely recommend this place.

Awesome breakfast - so good in fact, we went back two days in a row. Great coffee too. Highly recommend the Full Breakfast, my partner also enjoyed the Summer Oats. Lovely, friendly staff - great service

This place is wonderful! The staff are super friendly, there was great music playing, and the drinks were delicious! Both inside and outside were really nice. We didn’t order food but it looked fantastic.

An amazing place tucked around the corner. Ended up here on a random walk with an old friend. We repeated our drinks as they were so good. A good place for cocktails and mocktails. Don’t forget to enjoy the chai tea latte. The cinnamon flavour of the tea at the end of it is something to walk away with. Friendly staff and value for money.

Nice place to have breakfast/brunch. Food and coffee are tasty enough. We liked eggs though waffles were a little below my expectations. Design is green and cozy. The place is crowded on weekends, so the staff places you on the waiting list. Waiting time was about 15 minutes.
