One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in Portugal. Service was great, the food was absolute bliss and we left extremely happy and satisfied, still talking about the meal the days after. Our favorite was the cashew mozzarella !! In 10 Years of being vegan i haven’t tried anything that got as close to the original, I’d say even better. Also the pecan pie is to die for

Absolutely incredible. Probably the best meal and dining experience I've ever had. I had the spirit tofu and it blew my mind, it was astonishing. I couldn't believe how good it was. 200% recommend everyone to try it. And the cheesecake was also very yummy, one of the best desserts I've had in a restaurant. I ate outside by the fire and read my book between my dishes with a glass of wine. It was perfect.

I had lunch there daily during my visit in Lisbon! The food was amazing. One of the best vegan restaurants I have ever been to. I tried most of their dishes and was not disappointed. Their pecan pie was a dream!

I normally eat at least 4-6 different vegetables a day and when traveling, I always feel a bit malnourished. Luckily, I found this restaurant! We did not have a reservation and came at dinner time, but very late. Luckily we waited a bit and could have a table for two inside pretty quickly. The food was fresh and nutritious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and our experience was memorable. The portions are quite large, but fairly priced. Keep up the great work! ❤️

Lovely vegan restaurant! The starter dips (tofu+pesto, olive and peanut+apple) and homemade rice bread were amazing and the red no added sugar sangria probably the best I've ever had! The brown rice meatballs with salad were also yummy and healthy! The seitan meatballs are a great meat replacement! The view from the outdoor tables is lovely and the service is nice and quick! The red berry cheesecake was okay, but I normally prefer a cashew/tofu base instead of coconut. Overall amazing experience, it's a must-stop for all the vegans visiting!

Do you find this feedback useful? Please support me in helping more people make healthier food choices by clicking the “helpful” button. 🙏😊 A true hidden gem 💎 in downtown Lisbon. Perfect for a quick dinner after work or a longer meet up with friends. Tugged away from the Main Street, you can enjoy a slide breeze on the terrace or cuddle up inside. I had the veggie no-bread burger served with a chickpea patty, brown rice and greens topped with delicious mayonnaise, a drizzle of pesto and crunchy potatoes chips. On the side, mainly for the visual senses, you’ll find a juicy slide of orange with beetroot. To sum it up: Each bite is a culinary delight!! You can taste a variety of different flavors perfectly blended. The mayonnaise made of soy, lemon and vegetable oil was the icing on the cake. 😋 I highly recommend eating here at least once, especially if you have never tried plant-based. You’ll be pleasantly surprised. Here are a few ideas: 🍜Starters: bread with home made salsas, guacamole or soup of the day 🍝Main: pasta with pesto (with our without gluten), tofu salad, veggie burger or one of the daily changing surprise dishes I promise you will leave with a HUGE GRIN on your face and your belly with be very happy too. No bloating, cramps or uneasy feeling afterwards. That’s the beauty of healthy, raw, process-free food. And I didn’t even tell you the best of all. Food comes super quick, which is an added benefit especially when you’re really hungry. February 2024

High quality vegan restaurant! The meatballs were delicious and not salty (something all too common with seitan meatballs). The veggie burger was also really tasty. And the pecan pie…👌 The service was incredibly quick and friendly, we paid the bill less than one hour after arriving. We arrived just as they opened and were able to get a table without a reservation, though we saw many tables were already reserved. Reservation recommended, it filled up fairly quickly. Looking forward to coming back.

MUST MUST MUST GO! This is the best restaurant in Lisbon. The way the chef prepares the food is beyond conscientious and with immense care. Vegan food prepared according to the moon cycle, the season, the weather - the menu changes daily but there are always some staples like veggie burger and salads. You can’t miss this spot! It’s open every day of the week for lunch and dinner with a break in the late afternoon in between mealtimes so the kitchen can prep for dinner. It’s usually very busy so reservations are a good call, but I just dropped by and only had to wait for 10mins.

Delightful organic vegan restaurant located in the heart of Lisbon! Food***** This place earned a very RARE 5 stars from us for its food! The Rice bread is recommended and wow is it delicious!! We ordered the Risotto and the Veggie Chili. The veggie chili was a knockout, home run, and all the sides complimented it so well—the apples with the delicious sauce and cashews, the fresh side salad with balsamic and pomegranate and delicious rice. The Risotto was great (not as amazing as the chili) but tasted wonderful and was garnished w/ nutritional yeast and had portobello mushrooms. We got every food group in this dinner! We also got a Pina Colada that was so delicious and so fresh! Atmosphere**** Great setting with several tables inside and a good amount outside. The lighting was not too bright and just the right setting. There is parking nearby and on the street. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the limited space inside but we can’t really fault them for that! Service**** Quick, friendly, and the waiter was prompt to our table. We ordered a drink and it came really quick and was sooo fresh! Price$$ Incredible price for food this good! It was only slightly over 12USD, which is below the $15USD that gets a place 3 price tags

Oh mama. The vegan restaurant that is also suitable for non vegans! Why? Because they do some magic with their spices, the texture and consistency of the dishes that it doesn't feel like a stereotypical bland vegan meal. All the ingredients are organic too, which is very rare to find. And needless to say that the service was super friendly too. Pro tip: try their 2 litre jug of sparkling sangria - you won't regret it and it's great value for money.

We went there for Valentine’s Day. My husband who is not a huge fan of vegan food absolutely loved it. Everything is so flavorful, healthy and made with in season and local ingredients. We started with this divine rice bread accompanied by incredible vegan pâtés. We had the vegan steak and the penne as main dishes . The chocolate was delicious and perfect for a sweet end note.

Organi Chiado was truly exceptional! The ambiance was great and the food was amazing. I went with three non-vegans and they all thought the food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and exciting. Myself included! A very unique dining experience. Highly recommend!

We ate here for every meal during the days when we were visiting the city because the food was so exceptionally good. It was probably the best vegan food we've ever had, anywhere, and I'm super picky because I usually like my own cooking better than restaurant food. This restaurant was able to make exquisite dishes that balanced the flavors and textures better than anything I could ever even hope to make.

First off, the food here is very good. However the service is a bit quirky. The whole time I had the feeling of being deliberately ignored by the waitress. When I entered the restaurant, she just looked at me and turned away to the counter completely bored. When I asked her about the table, she said I can take any table I want. She forgot to mention that they have the digital menu only. Luckily I have noticed a QR code at the table. The internet connection inside the restaurant is not great, so having a digital menu only is a strange choice indeed. Another waiter brought a lemonade a couple of minutes later, which I did not order. Apparently the lemonade was meant for another table and it was a genuine mistake. Though it reminded me of the times when Portuguese restaurants tricked poor tourists into unwanted starters. Taking off 1 star for the service, otherwise it would be a solid 5 stars.

I’m everything but a vegan, yet I absolutely loved the food here. Quality ingredients, prepared with care and dedication, leading to very tasty flavours. They change the menu everyday, but if you get to pick the Thai tofu, bean-based veggie burger, or the seitan in mustard sauce, all of them are exquisite. For dessert, the pecan tart with ice cream is lush. Even the artisanal beer choice was top-notch. Last but not least, the service was excellent. Super nice, polite, and attentive staff! 5* on all fronts. We’ll be back very soon!

We arrived late at about 2230hrs but the staffs welcomed us warmly! Food was amazing, good fresh products used! If you’re a fan of spicy food, you can ask for their homemade chilli. It was phenomenal! Very spicy and goes well with the vegan meatballs. Was told that they aged the chilli for it to taste that strong. Detox juice and juice of the day was great too! Don’t miss this place if you’re vegan or just looking for a healthy meal!

I recommend making a reservation because this little place gets really busy! We started with yummy dishes like pates and nachos that were super tasty. My partners veggie burger didn't come with a bun, but it was served with a really nice salad, rice, and thick-cut crisps. The burger had lots of flavors and different textures. I had the penne rigate pasta which was also a hit, made with really fresh ingredients. We were pretty full by then, but we still shared a rice pudding dessert because we wanted something sweet. We also enjoyed a big jug of fruity sangria. This restaurant is great for vegans, and it's definitely worth a visit!

Lovey vegan experience in Lisbon. The presentation was very nice and the roasted veggies in the veggie salad were delicious. Well done for vegan restaurant. Small little spot with a good menu to select from. Fresh juices, salads, burgers, and desserts too ! If you are in the area stop by for a meal! It’s up a set of stairs from the Main Street so could easily pass it by if you’re not looking. The place was clean and staff was friendly. Fresh flowers at the table are a treat. Enjoy

This place is a must visit, I wish it was back in London. The food was the best care taken time shine the vegetables and make them the hero and packing them with flavour. Unlike having meat replacement vegan dishes. Kudos and well done to the recipe selection and chefs. The Service was excellent, and we returned back for most of the meals during our stay in Lisbon. The menu and dishes are refreshed every day. The taste was outstanding. I think this is one of the best places to eat in Portugal.

Wow, this is one of the best vegan restaurants we've been to, in any country! Such great food, served by such nice people, in such a lovely location. My husband and I had a really nice lunch here yesterday, right as the restaurant opened. A very kind young lady seated us at a table in the outdoor area, along the steps leading up, with a tree overhanging. It was a very pleasant and relaxing location. The food was excellent, and whoever prepared it deserves a lot of praise. I got the barley risotto with mushrooms, which came with a salad, and my husband got the vegan version of Portuguese meatballs, which came with rice, a salad and a different salad with apple in it. Wow, we were both blown away by how good everything was! And the glasses of red wine we got were delicious, too. I wish I'd had room for the desserts, which sounded wonderful, but I guess I'll have to come back for that! To top it off, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of food and service.

Organi it's a vegan restaurant with an esplanade located on a "steep staircase street", in downtown Lisbon. Went there with some friends for lunch on a Saturday and it was very nice. The staff is friendly and the food is very tasty, with ok portions. We made a reservation but there were some tables vacant. It's a good place for larger groups too. The prices are friendly too compared to other vegan/veg restaurants in Lisbon. One thing to be on the lookout, they charge you a service fee (10% tip) automatically with your check, which is not customary in Portugal. So ask about it beforehand.

Organi Chiado is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Lisbon and probably around the 🌎. Every time I am in Lisbon I come multiple times!! It’s soul food and most menu items change regularly (although they do have staple items). Whole Foods plant-based made with lots of love ❤️ If you’re considering going, just do it! And make sure to sit outside 😊

Delicious food, it's amazing. Quick service, I likes that the menu is fully digital. Huge tea Collection, there's alot of choice for tea. Cozy atmosphere. Tends to get a little loud in there, it's a Pretty small place so sounds seem louder. But not too loud, just a little noisier then I would have preferred

Great vegan restaurant! We had a great evening with amazing food and a very welcoming/friendly staff. The vegetarian dishes span a wide range and offer some unique options you are not usually presented with, especially when it comes to vegetarian food. The Pate with rice bread is a great starter and had us fighting over which is our favourite dip! For the main course we had braised tofu, Hokkaido filled with mushrooms, as well as the vegan burger, which were all outstanding. (The dishes were also quite large as well) Lastly the dessert was the finish to a perfect dinner. I would recommend booking your table in advance as it is a very popular place and was filled within minutes after opening.

Daily changing menu. I had the pumpkin dish. It was really delicious and way more filling than it looked. The vegan cheese appetizer was a little bit too nutty for my tastes but the caprese’s vegan mozzarella was delicious. Pecan pie and chocolate cake were amazing!! Giving 4 instead of 5 because my non-vegan friends unfortunately didn’t love the tastes and because the sangria was a bit more expensive than expected.

Delicious food and nice plating. Friendly, obliging staff; quick service thanks to lots of employees; would have loved to try one of their desserts but 6€ for a piece of cake just wasn't in for me. The "bathroom" door was a swinging salloon door and just a loose way to set the kitchen door apart from the bathroom but the walls from the actual bathroom area are not fully closed rooms which was pretty weird. Spacious place indoors (we ate outside almost glued to the table next to us)

This place is worth traveling to, honestly I went there twice and don’t think it was enough. I’m still dreaming about their bean burger. (I forgot to mention that their menu changes everyday). I’m not a big burger fan but let me tell you, their burger was delicious!!! It was extremely well seasoned, flavourful, fresh and moist. The rice was perfectly cooked, all the ingredients in dish perfectly paired with each-other. My friend really enjoyed his pasta too, he was surprised by how tasty it was too (he doesn’t like pasta usually but he enjoyed it from this restaurant). The Pinã-colada was amazing! I truly cannot express how good it was. I’ve never had such a good non-alcoholic pina-colada before. I’m still dreaming about it. The service: The service was excellent, the staff are bilingual they speak both Portuguese and English. We were quickly seated and served. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly.

Lovely vegan restaurant with great homemade dishes and knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. The only thing I didn't like was not knowing what the menu was in advance and then having to look it up on an app/QR code. I like to think about what I'm going to eat in advance :D That said, the dishes we had (penne, meatballs, pecan pie) were really really good. And the little starter of rice bread and dips was amazing!

This place is 100% overhyped. We've been in serval vegan places in Lisbon this week and this was the worst of them all. The rice in risotto ten times overcooked and tastes like porridge. The dressing in cesar salad tastes like mayonese and in mango lassi was some mango puree or juice instead of real mango. The staff is extremely polite and nice though.

Came here during my last trip to Lisbon from Scotland. Excitedly returned today. Had such great food last time and the BEST DESSERT ever. So, yes, you must come here. My first time dining at Organi Chiado. I will be back again. The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I was there for lunch and ordered the curry lentils entree. It was a beautiful and flavorful presentation with cinnamon sticks and lime in the curried lentils, adding just the right amount of spice and tartness. The sliced and baked sweet potatoes were plated with a sweet, perhaps balsamic, drizzle which really complemented the lentils. There was also a colorful salad with mixed greens and purple cabbage and sprinkled with a few pomegranate arils for sweet and crunchy. A serving of seasoned rice also accompanied the entree. Tastes and texture were excellent. I was impressed with the entree so I ordered their vegan chocolate cake. Mostly, I wanted to compare their vegan chocolate cake with my version. Cake to cake, Organi Chiado’s was better than mine, they managed a light and fluffy cake. Frosting to frosting, theirs and mine are rich and chocolaty and hard to imagine they are vegan…both are winners. The servers were attentive and efficient and friendly. Overall, a more than excellent experience.

Negative point only the waiters talking a little too loud and with some bad words. I understand that they wanted to talk and are in their right, but there are customers who prefer a quieter environment and escape the noise of Lisbon. Other than that, great and recommend. Definitely try, the cook and the friendly. The service deserves it ... my recommendation for food is the rosé wine ... and all for a really small budget! Good Appetite! 09/10/2020 tk (Original) Sehr, sehr lecker! Guten Appetit! 10.09.2020 tk

The food was amazing (starter, main and dessert). The chef clearly understood how to work with the ingredients and bring out the best flavours. I could not believe how delicious a dessert could be without sugar (chocolate cream cake). I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful chef and he was so friendly and explained the food in more detail to me. Meeting the chef and eating such delicious food made it the best experience I have ever had in Portugal. The price of the food was also very affordable. Staff was also exceptional. It is a must experience when in Lisbon.

We stopped by while passing through Lisbon and we were very pleased with our experience here. The food was amazing, the setting was beautiful, and there were plenty of options. Whether or not you're vegan/vegetarian I think everyone would find something here that they like. I Highly recommend.

A very small vegan restaurant found in the heart of Lisbon . Ingredients were fresh. The penne with almond and pesto sauce was exquisite. The bean burger with rice and salad was delicious. Staff were friendly and the sitting area clean. I would recommend this place to any vegan.

It’s average ok food. Nothing special or good that those reviews make it out to be. People here have never had better food then this before. We almost had everything in the menu. The soup of the day which was cauliflower was ok. Caprese Salad was also just ok. Lentil curry, to many spices that it didn’t even make sense and cold. Ceasers Salad, no dressing, but to much cheese. Chickpea burger tasted like you were eating dough and not actually a nice burger also it had no flavor. Penne pasta with cashew sauce and pesto was the only better food. Tofu spirit was bland. We had 2 little kids with us and asked for pasta just with oil no sauce. Guess what it came with a sauce with so much garlic that it was to much even for an adult to consume that much garlic. And they charged the same price for that pasta LOL You don’t just have the wrong order for little kids but even charge 12.90 for that portion. What a joke. I eat vegan food around the world and this is just a wanna be fancy try to be healthy restaurant that don’t take time to make it fresh for you the time you order because it was pre made that it came out that fast. And NO it’s not the best vegan restaurant in Lisbon. There are way better ones….

Amazing! Food that is not only delicious but actually make you feel good, “vital”! My favorite is the massa penne, I am addicted to this creamy, basily, pesto-ish flavorful dish. The pecan pie with vegan ice cream is so sweet, the perfect dessert. I absolutely love them both! The no-cheesecake is also great. Definitely check out this place if you’re in for a serious treat! 😋😋

Great vegan food; cozy atmosphere; wonderful staff! We went twice during our 3-day trip to Lisbon. Menu is a bit limited (it would be nice to have more salads🌱😋) but delicious! Our vegan spreads (with homemade rice bread) were fantastic and my chocolate cake was truly outstanding!

The friendly staff and beautiful location of this restaurant caught my eye right away. The fact that it’s vegan and looked good attracted me to it. I went with my wife, and we started out with a salad, some sparkling lemonade, and the juice of the day (good surprise). The salad was on the cheesy side, but good, and made delicious with the addition of the well prepared tofu and crouton cubes. I was sold on this restaurant being a 5 star place after having finished the starter course. Our main dish, the Penne Rigate was amazing, I could not get enough! This is my favorite vegan restaurant in Lisbon now. I would recommend a visit! Try to maybe call and reserve a spot, It can get busy!
