This has been the best food I’ve eaten in Lisboa, by far. The seafood pasta simply can’t be described in words. You have to try it for yourself. On top of the amazing food you will also receive amazing service. This restaurant doesn’t have waiters outside trying to lure you in (major red flag) and you will leave feeling like you experienced the hospitality that the Portuguese are famous for. It will be my first stop any time I am eating in Lisboa

Absolutely amazing experience. I was a bit skeptical as the restaurant is located on the Main Street. Not only the food was fresh and tasty, the service was very nice as well. Highly recommended! Get the shrimp rice dish in the pot!

This place was full of locals and tourists alike. Our hotel informed us they only take reservations for 25% of the seating well in advance so walk ins work well. Their famous clams dish should be, it's amazing. We split it as an appetizer and the paella as our entrée and that was enough food with the incredible bread and olives. They also have a fantastic wine list.

Food was good, especially the seafood rice and the steamed crab. But considering the price level, the service should've been better (e.g. they missed our side dish, brought the oysters after the crab even though we had specifically asked to start with them, and did the same to the couple next to us).

The clams were delicious but a little heavy handed with the salt. Their signature paella was decent, but it was missing the crust. The prices were a little higher than other local restaurants but the portions were big, and all seafood was fresh. Service was friendly. The outdoor seating was comfortable and safe. Definitely book if you can, they were very busy on a weekday evening.

Seafood rice was definitely worth the hype (and the queue)! So warm and delicious and portions were huge as well - had to take some away. Also had some of the nicest bread and butter in my life. Duck rice was alright, a bit dry, but my partner enjoyed it.

After seeing Lisbon has many restaurants that serves paella, I was very excited to try it out. Pinoquio was the restaurant my friend and I choose to have it at. Seeing that it has very good reviews and rating, i had high expectation. However, i was very disappointment to see the bad quality and taste of the paella they served us. My friend and I ordered the same dish: Paella Pinoquio Style: with seafood and lobster. After seeing the dish and tasting it, it completely ruined my excitement of having paella in Lisbon. The dish was watery, had no flavor or taste, and seemed like they just put lot of turmeric in it. That is about all. The lobster and seafood was tasteless and overcooked. The service was OK. Nothing great or praise worthily. We waited almost an hour to get in the restaurant. was very sad to have such bad quality dinner with such high price. Definitely don't recommend the paella at this restaurant. would never return there again.

The best meal we had in Lisbon. Prices reflect the high quality of the food. Simply prepared Portuguese standards with the highest quality ingredients. The cod (bacalau) is the best I ever had - dripping in olive oil and garlic. I don’t know if I can ever eat cod again until I return. My wife had the seafood rice, which we thankfully ordered for one - the portion is very generous and tastes like you went on a voyage with seasoned fisherman and this is what they made at the end of. Long workday with their catch. Fresh, savory, buttery, and filling. The waitstaff was charismatic and able to attend to us nicely in English. We tried a few Portuguese words to be polite, which was appreciated, but our menu was even available in English. The gentlemen next to us ordered a steak tip dish that looked fantastic but we were so full! Excellent bottle of vino verde paired perfectly with our meal and it was 75% cheaper than what a bottle costs in the US. Restaurant was full of local families enjoying holiday gatherings and it did not feel touristy. This was admittedly the most expensive meal we had during our extended trip across Spain and Portugal, though nothing out of the ordinary compared to what you pay if you live in any medium or major city in the US and go out for a nice meal. It was our last night before returning home and it was absolutely worth it for the quality of the food. I am still dreaming about how fresh the food was. Thank you Pinoquio for a great experience.

Hotel recommended this restaurant on our first day in Lisbon when I mentioned I wanted to try their crab. We sat outdoors on a cool day with some wind, they had outdoor heaters. Fyi they allow smoking which put a damper on my experience hence 3 stars for atmosphere. We ordered a crab -they’ll bring it out to show you the size, and it’s only cooked one way. Boiled thn chilled, so its served cold. Served with thinly toasted bread to dip into the creamy mixture in the shell. I dont think i’ll hv it again, it was good but nothing to write home about. The body was laborious work, tiny shells just made eating a chore. They give u a cute hammer and a small marble (?) to crack the hard crab shell. They’re small tables so bits r flying everywhere(including to the next attached table of strangers), no bib was provided either. Wet wipes were provided before the meal & I requested for extra after the messy meal. Cost us 42euro for a 1.3 kg crab. Also ordered Paelha a Pino preco 33euros. Hubby enjoyed it.

Super Restaurant! 100% Empfehlung. Immer wieder gerne.

Best place to try Portugese food! We had shrimps, clams, seafood rice and some steak, and they were all really nice. Just as a heads up, clam & steak has a nice taste of garlic, and seafood rice has some coriander with the food. You may have to wait a bit if you come after 7 p.m., but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

Recommended by the hotel concierge. We were glad we tried it. Food and service were over the top. If we were staying longer we’d go there again. Definite try the limon gelato. You won’t regret it. Great location. Highly recommend it.

Quality serves food, bit in high end but serving sizes are large. Staff is super friendly and terrace worth the stop. Multiple things to do around after lunch/dinner.

Must-try while in Lisbon! Very accommodating esp with children - they will portion food for kids. Their seafood curry was AMAZING! Staff was friendly and accommodating. This place gets busy during dinner time 7pm - 9:30pm and a line will most likely form. We were able to walk in around 6:30pm with very little wait and sat outside. They have a covered patio with fans/mist for outdoor seating. Wonderful food/dining experience!

We had seafood rice, roasted duck rice, seafood curry, and grilled skewer grouper, all were fantastic but a little bit salty for us. Thus one more bowl of rice was ordered.😝. Rice was hard in the center and maybe bread can be the better replacement if not accustomed. The waiter was sweet and hospitality. He replaced the warm plates for us and tried to speak our language, lovely 😊

Food is good and fresh. The portions were huge. Seafood risotto for 1 person was more than enough for 2-3 people as a first course. Fish soup was good but was expecting more. Overall a good place to try seafood and fish. Nicely decorated place. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice restaurant. You may need to queue in line for a while or go to the restaurant before it opens. The service is good and also the food. Definitely the restaurant that you would like to visit in Lisbon.

Best to make a reservation in advance. They have 25% of their tables for walk ins, but these go quickly. Service overall was very good and professional, this despite it being very busy. The food came out cooked perfectly and well presented. It can be expensive, but for the quality and location that is to be expected.

Queued for 40 mins from 6.30pm on a Thursday. Well worth the review. Tried roasted cod which was not salty. House special sirloin steak. Both looked like swimming in oil but they r not oily.

Had a decent lunch, packed with locals/professionals, outside was great and inside was super busy and buzzing. Sirloin steak and seafood pasta were both good, and so too was the house wine, especially at €15 per bottle.

This place has real old school charm. Great food, amazing service. Expect classic Portuguese food and hospitality here done to a very high level. I had the steak, which was perfectly cooked and my wife had the seafood pasta. Don't expect unusual ingredients or flavourings, just good quality food cooked in a classic southern European style.

Loved it! Great lunch on a sunny warm day. Food & service was excellent. Had the seafood paella and the squid dish with some nice wine. It was amazing. I recommend you try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Seafood rice is amazing. Huge proportion! 1 person size is enough! Lamb is too greasy and smell little bit funny. Excellent service

Good service. Great wine. Food served plentifuly. It does get crowded so you must do reservations. A must in Lisboa for amazing seafood

We had a great meal there. The grilled squid was top notch. My husband’s paella was a tiny bit too salty. The portions are biiig and the waiters are very attentive and hard working. More of a old school restaurant with tablecloths and proper napkins.

One of the best seafood restaurants in Lisbon for sure ! I was skeptical initially but once we sat down & noticed all the many local business crowds & customers dining in & knowing the staff well, it was a winner. Observing the food the locals ordered - the clams were a favourite apparently, but we only had stomach for a scrumptious seafood macaroni pasta & a medium rare picanha sirloin steak cooked so well it melts in your mouth. And dip those bread into the yummy garlic steak sauce please ! Love that their house wines are so affordable & lovely to drink. Fabulous lunch atmosphere that was full on a Monday. Speaks volumes to the quality of the food. Not cheap but well deserved for the quality.

We have been in Portugal for 15 days and have enjoyed great food. This place beats even a Michelin star meal. The paella was scrumptious. It’s a busy place so service is not perfect, but our server Migireles was awesome. We have absolutely no complaints! Try the flan!!!

Loved this Portuguese restaurant. We have the absolutely best time tonight. Food was delicious and we loved the old school waiters. So much fun!

One of the well known restaurants in the Lisbon, with relatively fresh seafood specialty. They have fresh crabs and oysters plus a large variety of Cod dishes. The food was delicious, I especially liked the steak. The house wine paired nicely with our dinner. The only thing was the service was super slow and not so much friendly.
