This
restaurant
was
recommended
to
us
by
most
cab
drivers
and
locals,
and
after
a
few
visits
to
Lisbon,
it's
always
our
first
port
of
call.
There
are
a
lot
of
fish
restaurants
on
the
steip
before
this
place,
but
a
lot
of
them
feel
more
commercial
and
less
authentic.
It's
a
must
visit
if
you
like
fish
and
seafood!
Overall,
a
proper
old
school
place.
It
has
the
decor
of
a
90's
Indian
restaurant
but
don't
be
put
off
by
that-
it
also
has
the
classic
fish
counter
and
the
lobster
tank
displaying
all
the
fresh
fish
on
the
menu,
which
is
beautiful
to
walk
into.
It's
always
very
quiet
given
how
reputable
it
is,
and
oddly
there
is
always
sports
playing
in
a
TV
in
the
corner
albeit
wothout
sound.
Aside
from
this,
it's
my
favourite
place
to
eat
in
Lisbon
(and
Lisbon
is
full
of
good
food.)
Recently
I
had
one
of
my
favourite
date
nights
here.
The
staff
are
lovely.
The
waiter
in
particular
was
great,
really
charming,
helpful
and
accomodating.
We
had
a
beautiful
blue
lobster
that
was
perfectly
cooked,
followed
by
sole.
It's
nothing
particularly
fancy,
just
excellent
coastal
seafood.
Everything
was
accompanied
by
sides-
Russian
salad
with
the
lobster
and
vegetables
with
the
fish.
The
veg
was
marginally
overcooked
but
soaked
in
garlic
which
I
highly
approve
of.
The
chips
looked
a
little
anemic,
but
upon
eating
were
actually
so
good,
clearly
home
made.
My
husband
loved
the
garlic
prawns.
They
serve
the
deserts
on
a
desert
trolley,
which
was
very
retro
and
cute,
and
every
time
we
have
eaten
here
it
was
disappointing.
When
I
order
a
mixed
salad
in
a
restaurant
they're
usually
very
feeble-
a
few
lettuce
leaves-
but
this
one
was
very
decent.
Lots
of
tomatoes,
onion
and
leaves.
Overall,
always
a
great
experience
and
one
of
our
favourite
fish
and
sea
food
spots
in
Lisbon.
Would
recommend.
