It never disappoints. Yes it is a chain restaurant but one of the nicest and most successful ones in Portugal and has been around for many years. One of my favorite places either to eat seafood with a view or quick and tasty steak. Very professional service and good wines to choose. They also have several different beers to match with the different dishes. A must try!

This gem of a place located right by the river Tagus, is a great place for seafood and Portuguese steak. Overlooking the beautiful view over River Tagus but away from the crowd, you can enjoy delicious Portuguese cuisine. Particularly recommended is their seafood platter. The waiters are great with their recommendations and also helped take some nice photos since I was visiting on my own.

Generous portions; I enjoyed the steak, spinach and frites here. There are other branches of Portugália around Lisbon too.

Super fresh seafood in big portion! The tiger shrimp was as big as our palm. Great experience to have with family on any occasions!

Nice food, good service. All arrived quite fast and was well cooked. Steaks were great, MR as requested 😊 it came with a nice sauce, the egg we ordered separately. Many side dishes, all tasty. Reasonable prices in good location by the water. Big outdoor area.

Very good steak, exactly medium-rare as requested. Nice saus, crispy fries and vegetables. We ordered an extra fried egg on top Portuguese style. Nice staff, bringing water for the dog and friendly in general. Very decent price for next to the river in Lisbon!

If you are looking for tasty and local cuisine you have to come here. The menu is simple, the prices are good. They have fantastic local cuisine with fresh fish and seafood. They serve really good beer and local wine.

A few years ago we tasted a seafood platter, which was also very good, now we tasted a very delicious, tasty Portuguese main course. Dessert was fabulous.

Delicious seafood dining by the sea. We were served by Mr. Domingo Oliveira, knowledgeable of the menu and generous on attentive service. We had the crab and the seafood platter (with crab, shrimps and barnacles), dishes highly recommended for 2 or 3 people. Good location with very well presented dishes, much unlike the usual busy touristic venues.

Excellent! We had a fantastic meal and a really great time here. The service was exceptional from our friendly and attentive waiter. The ambiance of the restaurant is just perfect, especially for a family dinner, and the food was absolutely delicious. It's a very traditional menu, presented simply with a great variety of seafood and meat dishes which are delicious. I recommend the "crab stuffing" and the "cod a bras". Loved it.

Lovely lunch spot along the river. Lots of seafood options and nice cold beer. Friendly staff. The bacalhau a bras was very enjoyable!

went here for lunch. Its not much but its honest food. I had a steak which was overcooked eggs were a bit undercooked the sauces were good and the service too pricewise it s good. The salad was hard to eat as everything was in huge chunks ... in the end i guess this is good chain restaurant quality. Service was forthcoming. Ambience was nice but just that tad cheap looking because of the many portugalia logos everywhere.

The views from the restaurant are very nice. The service was not great as we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table and the restaurant was not even full. A part of that the food was very nice, I advice you to get the bacalao a la "bras" typical dish, you get full for a great price.

Food was delicious (sea food rice and chocolate mouse), staff very nice and a nice view at the waterfront. Although there is bar next door playing very loud music. Quite noticeable when sitting outside... Not as comfy as expected.

This Portugália is a bit further away from another one that exists in cais do Sodré. The place has a nice large indoor space but also a nice outside area with direct view to Tejo. The croquetes (1,30€ per piece) and sapateira (around 9€) were nice and the vazia steak was fantastic. I don't know if it is always that good but just ask the staff if the meat is good on that day. It also has 2 sides that you can pick and both were good! Recommended

    1. The view is great (it’s immediately on the bank of the river). 2. The service is good. 3. The prices are relatively high but 4. The food is far from being good. It took me ages to clean the shrimps because they were not properly boiled. The local shells (I don’t remember the name) were small. The caviar salad was not tasty. If you want to taste really good seafood, go to Cascais (Mercado da Villa).

When I got here the atmosphere was lovely. I got a table quick (the place is pretty quiet, compared to the size of the place it's basically empty). I got my wine and food quickly. I was asked a couple times during eating and drinking if I wanted dessert or anything. I said no - I will order when I am finished. I finish everything and move everything to the side so the waitor/s know I am done. I'm right near where the staff convene so they can clearly see me if they bother to look over at me. I see people near me (a few tables over) being served and given their bills. This happens over the course of about 45 mins before my table gets cleaned. I tried my best to grab the attention of the staff during this time to no avail. The only reason my table got attention was because somebody dropped a glass near me. Another 15 mins pass before I manage to get the attention of a staff member standing in the back who sends a staff member to my table. (This is while other tables in the area are getting served.) I tell them I have been waiting an hour to be served. Some other staff member takes over and I tell the same. The only response I get is "what would you like to order?" No apology. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I understand the whole stereotype about Portuguese staff being slow, I don't mind that and honestly I haven't experienced it on this trip. But this is the slowest service I have ever experienced. Do not go.
