I recommend to make a reservation because the restaurant is highly frequented. We didn't but fortunately the service made it happen that we can enjoy this awesome location. The steak was really good. For meat lovers a must have while visiting Lisbon. The service was also very good and the prices are completely fair for that quality of meat.

Me and my boyfriend and I went there last night as a treat to celebrate our holiday coming to an end. I was very curious due to the raving reviews for this restaurant. I will start by saying that yes, it is very expensive. However, there are more reasonable priced steaks that start from €32. That being said, we decided to go for the Chuleton (€110) which is supposed to be for 2 people. I said, "supposed to be" because, in reality, you don't really get that much meat. However, I will also say that the meat was really good, tasty, crispy, and cooked to perfection. I decided to go for the creamed spinach as side, and my boyfriend went for the truffle mashed potatoes. He couldn't stop talking about it! The service was perfect. The waiter was very professional, knowledgeable, and helped us choose the best cut of meat to go for by showing us what they looked like and talking us through the difference in their flavours. We were also given free little samples in between: a steak tartare in a cone before the meal and a Pistachio and Raspberry bite after the meal. Both of them were incredible.

High end steakhouse, with beautiful products ( check the pictures) cooked to perfection, you really don't need anything more though there is a lovely list with starters and sides and yes if you can desserts. While the food is obviously the core i do have to mention the excellent staff, our server Karoline not only was able to answer every question we had but was also a joy to meet. Its the food that makes the meal its the staff that makes the experience, and tonight that was a gem.

I was expecting a great meal, to eat one of the best meat of my life but it was a disappointing experience. The place looks nice with an impressive display of their meats but this is one of those places that are meant to please and impress foreigners because for locals this is nothing special. The service wasn't good, while serving wine, the waitress answered one of the questions in a rude and unnecessary way and we felt we were being served by a robot almost doing us a favor for bringing our food. 2 friends for my group ordered the picanha, and one of those friends waiting 5 minutes for his dish, it doesn't make sense for him to wait for the same dish that was served to the other friend. We asked for an explanation, there was a problem with a machine but no apology was given. I usually don't expect apologies and I tolerate these mistakes but, for the price we paid for this experience, this was amateur level... I was expecting the meat to be the best of this place but it is nothing special really... Despite being medium rare, the meat was rubbery, hard to chew and tasteless. I have had much better meat in local Portuguese restaurants for 4 times less the price. The desert was one of the best I had in my life though, the berry Pavlov was simply perfect but what does this say about a restaurant where the meat should be the star? I don't recommend this restaurant, hyped and overpriced!

Wow that’s really all I can say. The servers weee so friendly and made really helpful suggestions. The environment was cool and modern yet cozy. We ended up next to two small tables also full of tourists who were enjoying the best meal as well. The food was so good. Meat melt in your mouth mashed potatoes I could literally just get a giant bowl of to myself and be happy forever. The dessert was well balanced. The wine was so good my only regret was not getting a bottle to go. This place was one of my highlight to Lisbon.

10/10 experience. One of my favorite places I’ve been to in a long time. Food was delicious and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They take just as much pride in the sides as the main steak which is appreciated when you’re laying the higher prices. Don’t skip on dessert! They are just as good as the main course!

Another great highlight from a foodie trip to Lisbon. The place looks lovely and the staff were very inviting and knowledgeable. Our meal was arranged by a friend as a wedding present. I didn't know if the staff were aware or not but it felt like we were getting special treatment, with some bubbles on arrival and some nibbles dropped off between courses. It's not cheap here, more upmarket than I'm used to, but as a special treat it was definitely worth it. The steak was incredible medium rare. What impressed me even more was the apple tart dessert, suggested to us by our server. Possibly the greatest dessert I'd ever had, but I do have a sweet tooth. Lovely time overall and felt a proper treat.

Service was excellent! Atmosphere and dining experience was good. Huge selection of wine list The only thing we were a bit disappointed was the steak was not as tasty as what we usually get back home. A little chewy and taste of the meat could be better. Overall still a nice steak place to visit in Lisbon if you have cravings for red meat!

Steak was delicious and well cooked. Be sure to try one or two sauces on the side to pair with it. The New York steak was perfect size for two. I enjoyed how the meal came with a small starter and bite sized dessert. Ambiance was nice and we were able to walk in on a Sunday night for a table without any reservations. One star off because the somm recommended a wine and there were tiny flies in it when the glass was poured! Grossed us out.

Great place with delicious meat. The tartar and steaks were amazing. It was full when we came, so the stuff offered to sit on the bar, and once they had a free table, we were sat there. We were lucky and came at restaurant anniversary. This day they served a special menu and offered small complementaries.

I never really leave reviews but this one deserves ONE! I recently moved to Portugal and let me tell you no restaurant in SA has served everyone at the table and made me wait half an hour for my dish without any explanation. When I asked what was happening, I was told "Sorry Sir, if you don't press really hard on the computer screen it doesn't take the order" How pathetic!! To top that, we still ordered dessert and a digestive, none were offered on the house to make up for the inconvenience, will never go back, and will make sure no one else I know ever does.

Best meat in Lisboa hands down. The service is absolutely perfect. A 10/10 experience. The fact that this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin Star blows me away and proves how this country is still too oriented to "TV Chefs" and show-off restaurants.

This is a great restaurant that would be considered expensive in Europe it to an American dollar it’s actually quite affordable. I didn’t think the service was a little bit slow, but the food made up for it. My boyfriend had a fabulous tenderloin steak and I had the burger. The roasted vegetables were cooked to perfection as well, and I also had a nice glass of wine with a large list of options. The decor in the restaurant is very pretty as well and it’s in a good location to do many things afterwards.

We had a reservation at 19:00 complete with credit card validation. Or so I thought. But somehow when we arrived the reservation could not be found. Not really sure if I ever had a confirmation mail, so possibly my mistake by not finishing some last step. Anyway, the staff did their best to find us a table given I had my credit card validation I was able to show. We had lovely dinner. The carpaccio was delicious, the foie yummy and the tenderloin just that, tender. Together with some lovely reserva vino tinto a very good evening out. Thank you team for making g it possible to have dinner at your place last night, once again. We will definitely be back in the future, with correct reservation 🙃

We visited here this evening as our last dinner in Lisbon, and we were not disappointed. The chuleton steak was shared between my partner and I, where we had the Stilton sauce and Black Truffle Mayonnaise sauce to go with it. It was possibly one of the best steaks I have ever had! It was so crispy on the outside and had so much flavour! I had the black truffle mash potato as my side dish, and it was fantastic! As you can tell, I do love my truffle! The only negative comment I could provide is that for the price we paid and what we got quantity wise in terms of the steak, it could be better. We expected to get more meat for the cost of it but you have to see it has quality over quantity. Service was great, and we did pay a tip as it made the experience that little bit extra special. Overall, I highly recommend it here if you are a steak lover and want to try something a bit different from the usual cuisine in Lisbon. But pre-warning, it won't be a cheap evening!

Although on the expensive side the meat is wonderful. The staff is super friendly and quite helpful ( thank you Mario) . We tried the Portuguese from 14 year old cows and matured for a few months and the taste was fantastic. I would highly recommend it for all meat lovers. BTW the dessert was excellent as well

The steak was great and the restaurant itself was designed superbly. I understand that they were trying to offer a dining experience but we ordered a bottle of wine which was left in a cooler half way across the room, we had to ask for our glasses to be refilled twice after waiting about 15 minutes with empty glasses. I would prefer the bottle to be left at the table as I’m more than happy to pour my own wine. Other than that it’s a good steak place

All the dishes we got here were amazing! Super happy with everything we ordered and I loved it all. Staff here are super friendly and welcoming, tentative and speak English! Had a fantastic meal here and I would come back the next time I’m in the country for sure. Highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment as this place is a must go in my opinion.

Good Steak Good Vibes It is the second time I ate here for my third time in Lisbon, and I will probably come back again on the first occasion when I have a craving for a juicy and properly cooked steak. The food is very tasty and well prepared (I had an atricôte with truffle mash potatoes, and my wife had a sirloin with french fries and truffle sauce, washed down with two delicious Negronis). The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere very pleasant (we sat at the bar, right next to the chef and his team, who cooked right in front of us). It is a restaurant suitable for a special dinner, with above-average prices, but which is reflected in the restaurant's label and ingredients.

The best place for a steak in Lisbon! When you walk in the front door, check out the cuts ageing on your right. When you order, the waiter brings the steak over for approval before cooking. This place is a high end steak house and a must visit for any meat lovers.

Sala de Corte food is good but in terms of the steak had higher expectations. The beef tartar and desserts were very good. The sommelier recommendations were completely off what we asked, he did apologise and offer a Porto wine to make it up. Overall good restaurant but overpriced.

The best steak restaurant I’ve been 😍 Everything was perfect. The location, design, food taste and amazing service. We were also asked if we have any allergies (I have lactose) and they’ve brought the cheese separately. We went there twice during our one week stay. You need to try steak and the cheese cake. So delicious 🤤

The service and atmosphere was fantastic. The food was also tasty, I would have preferred the temperature of the food to be warmer. I also found elements of the food slightly under seasoned but they do provide additional salt to suit your tastes.

One of the best places I've sat to eat meat...you mustn't miss the most perfect beef tartar in the world! (And I'm not exaggerating). And of course the special pavlova, and the Basque cheese cake!

nice restaurant for meat lovers. the ambience was cool and there was cool music playing. the service was very friendly and the food came super fast. the meat was so delicious and the price-performance ratio was right. i would love to come back :)

Great restaurant, service particularly stood out for general Lisbon standards. Good food, worth the price tag. Try the cheesecake desert, mushroom and asparagus side dish (incredible), and cocktails.

Wonderful place and one of the best dining experience in Lisbon! The rib eye was so tasty, and loved the fries and the black truffle mayo too. The place is beautiful, great and cosy soundtrack and loved the service. All waiting staff very kind, giving me a warm welcome. Will definitely come back!
