Great staff, great breakfasts, strong air conditioning and quality fixtures made for a mostly comfortable stay. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because when checking in with my girlfriend for our 4-night stay we were given a very small room, so small that we had to put our suitcases and belongings all over the floor and had virtually no room to walk around and function. Normally this wouldn't bother us but we had seen 3 other units in the building during our stay which were much larger. Even our friend who was travelling alone had a room that was 20-30% larger sold to her for an equal or lesser price. I think that was a big miss on the part of the staff that resulted in a much less comfortable stay.

Excellent location in the heart of the city. The staff could not be nicer and more accommodating. We stayed in a most comfortable suite (604) and enjoyed our stay tremendously.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights in December. We had three separate rooms and were trying to be next to or close to each other, but that didn’t happen. We were each on separate floors, and my sister was even in a separate (though connected) building. I’ve stayed at boutique hotels before but this one is super ‘boutique’ wherein no two rooms are the same. Not sure how I feel about that. The hotel is located on the second floor and in between two shoe stores but they sent directions beforehand, so it was pretty clear how to enter the building. Here is some of the good and bad: Pros: -Breakfast is included and it’s a pretty decent selection. They even have eggs made to order, and the eggs are super fresh -Free coffee/tea 24/7 -Towel warmers in the bathroom Cons: -We were located on the 6th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 5th floor. Meaning we had to lug our luggage up and down the stairs. The elevators are also super cramped so if you’re claustrophobic, it’s definitely not for you -I think the rooms on the lower floors have been renovated because our room looked super old. I’m almost certain there might have been a few murders that went down in our room back in the day, because it just gives that vibe. There’s a semi-hidden extra single bed, and some locked half doors in the room. Since it was the top floor, half the room had the slanted ceiling because of the roof -Since ours was an older room, we didn’t have a rainfall shower -HUGE dead roach on ground floor of the building, which isn’t really the hotels fault but you know if you see one in the building, there is bound to be some in the hotel. Luckily, we didn’t come across any other ones, dead or alive The rooms on the booking website looked fine. My family’s rooms looked more in line with what we saw online. But I guess they don’t really advertise the murder room. Overall, it was just not a comfortable stay. I couldn’t wait to leave. At least everything was clean?

I made a last minute booking with this boutique style hotel for 3 nights. (?My favourite Youtuber recommended this place ) . Their welcoming smile , hospitality and a complimentary half bottle of wine in my room really eased my long flight fatigue. The location was superb !! The room was cozy and clean ! Breakfast buffet was full of local specialties , yummy European cheese , bread etc. I definitely recommend this hotel !!

Cozy hotel in a superb location. The staff is amazing, specially Bruna. She helped us from the very first minute and made sure we had a great experience not only at the hotel but at the city as well. Breakfast was great and the room was super spacious with great light and views. 2 minutes from Rossio Metro and walking distance from many places around

Fantastic! We were very pleased. The room was immaculate, the breakfast buffet fit for a king, staff was amazingly helpful, coffee available 24/7, location was very central and easy to get everywhere. A MUST STAY!

decent clean but walls too thin. Staff are all impeccable friendly and bright, had lots of fun chatting with each. Breakfast spread is great considered boutique style. Was hoping more tv choices though.

We had a perfect stay here. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great. We loved the 24 hour coffee machine. This location was in the heart of everything.

The place is so charming! It’s super centrally located in an old, authentic high ceiling building. Rooms are specious and bright, well decorated. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful ☺️ I would highly recommend the place to everyone.

Lovely hotel with astonishing service. We stayed there one night and had an early morning flight. The receptionist was so nice to us and served breakfast way earlier than planned. Definitely great price performance. Will come back again to this hotel for sure.

Just the best! Loveliest people working here. So kind and helpful and just wonderful. The breakfast too is above and beyond delicious. The mattresses are VERY firm (I love this but some might not.) When you first arrive the exterior looks like it might be dingy but then it’s lovely and cosy. Also, it’s DEAD SILENT! You can sleep for eternity! Also, as a solo traveler I wanted to feel safe and I very much did here. Would stay here again 1000% - thanks for a lovely stay!

A real treasure. Location is excellent. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is excellent here. It is the excellent service provided by the staff that makes this hotel such a great choice. I'm looking forward to returning to this hotel soon.

The hotel is a bit hidden as it’s simply a large door off the street and a small sign. Hotel staff is very pleasant, rooms are great (clean and spacious), location is exceptional, and the breakfast is one of the best hotel continentals I’ve had. Had a small issue with our neighbouring guests being rather noisy (walls are very thin) at 230am but it was promptly handled by staff and no further issue. The hotel is by no means inexpensive but is a good stay if you’re not too concerned about budget.

Right off the Rosario metro station and in the middle of downtown Lisbon. You're a short walk from Lisbon's late-night food/bar scene, from their main shopping street, and from the city's old town. Rooms were super clean with *powerful* air-conditioning units. Cleaned daily and super respectful of your belongings if they had to be moved. The view from our window was...stunning and the double-pane windows *completely* killed the sound from outside. The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help with just about anything - dinner reservations, train planning, Portuguese lessons, you name it. WiFi was great - I downloaded a game to my laptop in a very reasonable amount of time. No data limits or weird login requirements. The breakfast is above and beyond most hotels in the world. Fruit tarts, quiche, cereal, omelettes, seafood croquettes, bread and butter for picky eaters. This was a €20 breakfast buffet - for real. The *only* negative was the immediate area at night can make some people uncomfortable - I never once felt unsafe but you might be offered "Some good $#!&" by some seedy teens in the alley nearby - it's flour. Not that I'd know or anything... I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Seriously. Just book it.

This hotel is located right next to the Rossio square, allowing easy access by foot or public transportation to all main attractions and points of interest this city has to offer. The real advantage of this hotel is the staff and the service they provide. They will help, explain, and share their knowledge whenever you ask. Great service! The breakfast is simply great, by the way :) Thank you

The room was massive but the bathroom was tiny. The bed wasn't very comfortable. I also had a cleaner just walk into my room at 8:30 in the morning without even knocking and there wasn't even an option for do not disturb that I could find. There was no shower gel in my room, I had to ask for more and they didn't believe me until they saw for themselves. Breakfast was also pretty mid

At this price, I was expecting a lot more. Starting with a very strange entrance through a shoe store (??), to a place that looks like someone's living room more than a boutique hotel. The room was nice but noisy and with no attention to details, which is again what you expect at this price point. Breakfast was okish, but nothing more and nothing special, and the coffee was really bad... in short, there are much better proper hotels in the city. I would, however, say a good word about the staff: very sweet, welcoming, and helpful.

Ein sehr schönes und gut gelegenes Hotel. Die Hotelrezeption liegt im 3.OG. Die Zimmer sind im 3. -6. OG.

Is one of the best hostels i was during all my trips. It is in a very central place in Lisbon however during night you dont year a sound inside the room, wich is quite good by the way. The breakfast is just amazing. The employeers are very nice, and João, one of them, speaks all the languages know to Men :p

We had the best time here! The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is original and tasty, the Junior Suite is amazing and the location couldn’t be better. We felt really comfortable is this boutique hotel.

I do not give 5 stars reviews very often, but Tesouro da Baixa earned it. We stayed in a suite and the interior was a mix between old furniture and modern architecture. Excellent taste! Breakfast was with a good choice, better than in most other Hotels we stayed (maybe a little too standard though). Employees really seem to care about the guests! There are some minor suggestions for improvement, which I will send to Tesoure da Baixa directly. Price-Value was simply excellent, therefore 5 stars.

I never write any reviews usually, but I couldn’t handle myself this time because this hotel clearly doesn’t deserve the 4,7 note. Cons : 1) The rooms have wooden creaking floor; we heard every single step from the room above us at night and it was waking us up every night and early in the morning. 2) Poor quality of cleaning : no change of towels, no vacuum cleaning, they just made our bed. In the bed, we found someone’s hair. 3) Noisy fridge from the minibar (which makes a sound of an old fridge), we had to shut it down for the night. 4) Bathroom equipment (hairdryer) a bit old. 5) We were supposed to have a free coffee in the room, but we haven’t found any coffee pads. Pros : 1) Excellent location next to Rossio square 2) Pleasant checkin : the receptionist explained us the city sights and recommended the restaurants.

5 day break in lisbon with my son. Hotel is very clean. Good showers, comfy beds, great choice for breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Our flight was delayed and we were received at 2am with a smile. We were offered tea or coffee too. U can leave ur bags after check out which is great. Great location. Very close to everything. Hotel it’s self is very quiet. Only down side is the noise from outside which is to be expected as you are in the centre of town. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. Will return and would highly recommend. Thank you

There's a small elevator that you'll wait for. Reception is on the 3rd floor & there's no elevator if they put you in the attic. Be good with climbing stairs! They call the attic rooms "superior" because of square footage but they are just attic space with sloped ceilings. They charge for coffee pods for the room coffeemaker. Needed to keep window closed due to neighbor building burning plastic. Shower stalls are slippery & have no hardware to set shampoo, etc.on. Need towel bars. Bathroom was dark in attic. Outside light into room cannot be completely blacked out with doors. Their rooms do not all have phones to reach desk so know that what's advertised may not truthful. Mostly kind, helpful staff but also some dismissive ones. Hearty breakfast but could use some healthier alternatives to the heavy foods & pastries. Convenient location for public transit & walking. Great wood floors & coffee machine.

Room 510 seems a great room to stay but the Wood floor of the suite above makes a terrific noise that makes imposible to sleep. Breakfast is good , lot of variety although it could be more fruit and with some taste. Staff nice and helpful. Very good location.

Great location and breakfast. Rooms are nice, bathrooms are a little small but well fitted. Only challenge was getting into the building at night when we arrived.

Really nice surprise, great downtown location right in the middle of all the action. 6 story hotel with renovated rooms and beautiful bathrooms. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Would recommend and would definitely return.

Paid for a 30 square meter room via booking with sitting area. Room was clearly more like 15sm in the end without any chair. After asking for a bigger room I was told there isn't any bigger left and that a refund would not be possible. Nothing else was offered to make up for it. Otherwise the experience was fine.

We spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel hidden in the center of Lisbon. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and room was quiet even though the center is noisy. Highly recommend!

A wonderful place to stay when in Lisboa. Centrally located and easy access to" all" the sights in the center. A wonderful welcoming staff that really makes you feel welcome. Breakfast buffet included and with a lot of varieties and homemade foods. And the rooms were very clean. Got some very good recommendations for places to go and restaurants to eat lunch and dinner. I would definetely recommend this hotel, and hopefully I will be able to go back.
