We stayed in the bottom most room that is the most recently renovated and it was very nice. The bed was comfortable. Room was spacious. Water provided. Bathroom spacious. Location very good and quiet but close to attractions. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.

An outstanding hotel, very central but on a quiet street, within walking distance to the river, the Timeout market and main shopping and sightseeing areas. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast on the roof terrace very varied, fresh and with an amazing view over the river and old town. An absolute gem!

We booked this hotel at the last minute and were not disappointed. Lovely friendly staff, especially Claudia who runs the breakfast room like a finely oiled machine. She learns your name and what you like and caters to your every whim. The breakfast room is on the top floor with fantastic views over the river, and you can eat inside or outside. Reception staff are similarly on hand to help with anything. The hotel is excellently positioned in the ancient quarter. Our room had a lovely view of the river. We will definitely recommend to our friends and hope to return.

Beautiful accommodation in the heart of Lisbon. The rooms are a good size and the facilities are quaint. When I arrived, the hotel provided a complimentary bottle of wine and water. The front desk was very helpful and will explain the attractions, shopping, restaurants and provide a local map. They are very accommodating and will make reservations if needed for a local restaurant. The restaurant staff member is amazing (Claudia). Breakfast included fresh fruit, local eggs (by request) and amazing breads. Also, there is a fantastic small park next to the hotel with an amazing view. This is an ideal stay while in Lisbon.

We enjoyed our stay at Monte Belvedere Boutique Hotel. The staff are amazing - warm, friendly, super helpful and accommodating. Location is top notch - close/walking distance to city centre and main tourist areas but far enough away so it’s quiet at night. One thing to note is that only cabs can access the street to the hotel so if you take an Uber, it will drop you off at the main street and you will have to walk to the hotel (it’s not far, 2 mins max). The room was a little small but it was cozy. The hair dryer in our room stopped working and when I called the front desk and asked for another one, it was brought to our room right away. Would definitely recommend staying at the Monte Belvedere.

This was a nice stay right at the heart of Lisbon with beautiful river views from the breakfast terrace. Close to everything but still very quiet. Minutes walk to Time Out Market and other great restaurants and bars and transport to Belem and Alfama.The room was spacious, very clean, the bed was super comfortable & the shower powerful.. The staff are amazing! Welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a wonderful choice and was very relaxed - great way to start your day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Monte Belvedere Hotel is a hidden gem in Lisbon. The staff are helpful and accommodating, everyone is friendly. The breakfast is high quality with fresh products and amazing views. The rooms are spacious and functional. Thank you for a great stay!

He is extremely knowledgeable of Lisbon, and wonderfully hospitable in ensuring my wife and I have had the best stay. We would highly recommend this hotel, and may return ourselves someday.

That was a nice stay right at the heart of Lisbon. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They advised many beautiful places to visit. Literally made a plan for us for a few days with some useful tips from locals. Perfect breakfasts with an amazing view.

Room was a bit small for the price but comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was good and with an excellent view of the city. About a 10-15 minute walk to the metro station.

This is an excellent place to stay in the heart of Lisbon looking over the bay from a nice height. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and very cost effective in my humble opinion at a £130 Euro. There is breakfast on the roof and it offers a large assortment of good food that is included in the price. The staff are warm and friendly and there is a buzz around the area, which may be daunting to the traveller looking for a quite location. For me I totally enjoyed my stay, the hotel staff and the area. So if you want to stay in the heart of Lisbon and experience the buzz of the city, you cannot go wrong here.

Central location but steep hills to get there. The room is comfortable but has its flaws: aircon does not heat the room so it was cold the entire time! Electric sockets are hard to find. Desk space is very small. Soundproofing is below average. Breakfast is above average and with lovely staff. Great view from the breakfast roof. Reception staff is young but very friendly.

The restaurant is good. My room didn't have a window facing outside and was very dark. For the price is was expecting more. The WiFi was also very slow.

If i could spend 6 stars i would do so. Aside from the fantastic Rooftop Terrace and the tremendous breakfast, the kindness and Service was extraordinary! Definatly recommend this hotel!

Magnificent hotel for the price. Beautiful rooms and great view from the rooftop bar/restaurant. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, they even helped line up another hotel for me the next night when they were booked up and I decided to extend my stay.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The team is warm and welcoming, and has great guidance for exploring the city. Can't beat the views, or the comfy beds. Housekeeping was spotless, and it was really quiet at night for sleeping.

Everything was great, the room was clean, the cleaning lady comes everyday, the team was nice and always ready to help, the breakfast was good. The rooftop is amazing, the hotel is located nearby a beautiful point of view. It is a little bit difficult but challenging to reach the hotel by walk because it is located on a sort of "hill". The surroundings are wonderful and typical. :)

Well located Hotel in the city center. The breakfast is really good with a large variety (strawberries, sweets (pasteis de nata), a lot of cheese) and especially a stunning view. We asked to change the room - too loud, chlorine smell which was not able to reduce during 1 night, dark & small room. Thank you for your cooperation and our new room. The new room was renovated and including a balcony and view to the waterfront. My advice: if you are not happy, just ask for another room :-) All the best, Laura

Like every hotel, there were pros and cons. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They also provided transportation from the airport for an extra fee which was very convenient. The location is great and the rooftop breakfast had a great view of the city. The room also seemed clean. My main complaint with this hotel was how loud it was. Every night we heard people talking and every morning we were woken up to the sound of breaking glass. The noise was so loud and early each morning. It sounded like a recycling truck collecting glass, but it lasted several minutes and seemed like it was right outside our window. Also, the bathroom was extremely small, it could only fit one person at a time. If you are looking for a quiet place to say, keep looking!

My husband and I extended our stay at this hotel thanks to the great location, nice rooms and most wonderful staff. Gabriel at the front desk went above and beyond to help us extend our stay and provide recommendations for our additional time. Claudia runs the kitchen and catered to our dietary needs - she is also extremely knowledgeable and such a delight! The breakfast room/rooftop terrace has an exceptional panoramic view of Porto and the river looking south.
