It's a terrible place. Always dirty. Almost impossible to take a shower with the slowest water pressure I ever experienced. Service is also pretty bad. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Above all - great staff. BUT below average cleanliness, tiny bathrooms/cold showers, broken sinks and that horrible smell in the corridors. I got the “newly renovated” private room - I don’t want to think about how it looked before it was renovated. Very cold rooms. Quite central. Would not book here again. They have a long way to go in terms of quality.

It was cheap but cozy after all. Only one star for an unpleasant drawback: A staff member entered at 4.30 am without any explanation, he took a friend’s baggage and he brought it in to the bathroom. I stand up and he was stealing stuff from my friend’s bag. Pay attention.

Hot water takes hours to come Multiple people sleeping in the same bed making an 8 person room a 12 or even 14 person room. Then they happen to snore! Toilets are dirty and the shower size feels like it was made for elves.

Dirty everything, sketchy looking, kitchen in the first floor sucks, and the showers although okayish were located in the ground floor. Only “good” thing about the hostel is the outdoor patio where you can sit, BYOB and socialize with other travelers.

The bathrooms are by far the worst I have experienced while I’ve been travelling for the last 10 months. They are so cramped, unclean, a lot out of order, some toilets don’t lock and has a terrible smell. The shower is a dribble of water. The sinks are so tiny that water ends up going everywhere. It seems like there are school groups that stay here, and there is no one in charge to tell them that screaming and running through the hallways until 2am is not ok. The staff don’t do anything. One of the girls in my room ended up going out and telling them to be quiet but it didn’t do much. The rooms are okay, but I was lucky to be at the bottom bunk of a 3 story bunk bed. The very top bunks had no guard to stop someone from falling and the ladder stopped at the second bunk bed. I couldn’t wait to leave here.

It's 3:30am and still trying to sleep. People too disrespectful, lot of noise, and staff doesn't even care at all... Chillout nothing. I'm really disappointed, I know a hostel is about sharing a place and sometimes can be tough, but this? Why am I here? 🤦🏻‍♂️

The lady at front desk was so sweet and kind. The price was reasonable and beds comfy with plug and shelf. Kitchen needs cleaning and the ladies toilets were absolutely disgusting. I’ve been at a 9 day festival this week and the toilets there were 20 times cleaner. The girls toilet stunk so bad. You guys really need to hire a better cleaner as it would put me off returning

Very accomodating and cheerful staff. Prime but peaceful location. Very relaxed. True to name. A safe haven. Incredible value for money. Surprised at lower score. Good for socialising or staying solo. Colourful and vibrant clientele.

Even the toilets at the train station are more clean and neath. God may knows what lays on the ground of these showers full of mold and other unidentifiable stuff growwsss.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was fine if hard to actually find the place...and the hills. Omg the hills lol. Other than that I would say the room did not have a comfy bed but for 1 night it's OK. The bathrooms and showers (that were not under renovation) were very small.

We slept in a private room. The room was a little bit small but we slept good and it was clean. The bathroom in the second floor was not that good, no warm water and super small. But they have new bathrooms in the first floor. Sometimes it was a little bit loud in the night but the staff was super friendly and caring and watched out for the nighttime peace. The room was too expensive for what we get but all in all it’s a good place to stay for a few days in Lisbon.

Awesome hostel and great place to stay in Lisbon! Really amazing staff who were super friendly and have great advice and tips for Lisbon! Special thanks to David for going above and beyond to help and for being so kind! Clean and new facilities, great bathroom and kitchen! Beds comfy and rooms clean! Perfect location! Really nice chilled garden area out the back! Would definitely recommend!

In the heart of the city's embrace lies a hostel, a place where one's sojourn becomes a tale of both proximity and tribulation. While the enchantment of its locale dances in the shadows of the center, the sanctuary itself unfolds a narrative of discomfort. Within these walls, the rooms, bereft of favorable conditions, metamorphose into summer chambers akin to a stifling gasp. Elevated tales of three-tiered beds unfold, with the zenith, the third floor, harboring an atmosphere best avoided. Broken artifacts punctuate the ambiance, while the ablution alcoves, tainted and unsightly, reveal tales of neglect. In this haven, the intimate act of cleansing loses its sanctity, as showers meant for both genders intertwine without the courtesy of partitions, rendering the notion of privacy a fleeting mirage. And so, the plea arises – for a slightly loftier sum, one might unravel a more conventional narrative within the walls of a hotel, where the symphony of Lisbon's allure resonates unhindered, unburdened by the suffocating embrace and the olfactory imprint of forsaken socks.

We stayed in a 4 bed dorm. Bed and room were very clean upon check in, however the place definitely needs substantial upgrades and maintenance (is currently undergoing renovation). Doors and ceiling are coming apart in the room. The lockers in the room are only just big enough to fit 1 carry on sized suitcase or backpack. The beds are creaky & the outside street is very loud, it’s impossible not to have the windows open at night with no fan or air conditioning. The only showers in operation are on the ground floor, they are clean enough but the water pressure is weak/disappointing and temperature control is non existent (either freezing cold or boiling hot), there are toilets on each level but they are tiny. The front door entrance is so low with no warning signage, you hit your head almost every time coming in or out of the building. WiFi worked well and staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a nice beer garden outside. Location wise it’s close to the centre and easy to get around, would avoid using the bus system as they are constantly late or don’t show up, use Uber or Bolt instead (incredibly cheap). Overall, it did the job for a few nights but for the price you could easily find a nicer hostel or private room on Airbnb that would likely be more comfortable.

Pretty good hostel with a good price. The place was overall very clean and the room was great. I stayed at a 5 bed shared room and it was pretty chilled. All the staff members were cool and helpful. Special thanks for the housekeeper Edineia who took care of cleaning up the spaces and was so very kind on giving tips about the area. Would definitely come back!

Very nice place and very helpful people. Had car problems the day I was leaving. The people working there had me on my way before the tow truck could even arrive. Highly recommend for young people traveling around Europe.

Staff is very friendly (at least Bruno is) but toilets and showers are way too small to survive. Considering the price, I would recommend for a short stay.

Extremely run down hostel and definitely not worth the price. This is Lisbon and most hostels are booked full so you have no choice but this place is not worth it. Extremely tiny bathrooms. The cleaners are battling a lost battle. Kitchen is very bad and common room main floor not inviting. Common room below under construction. Bedlinnen is clean but Wifi is not great. Most lockers under the beds are broken and unusable. Definitely not a place I would go back to or recommend.

Very bad conditions! Awful shower situation and they don’t clean the bathrooms. Literally impossible to sleep due to the volume crushing from the ceiling! Even for that price not recommendable.

The location is so bad (a lot of stairs since it s up a hill or very tiring ramps) no lockers in the rooms. The rooms have 3 floor beds and the third one on top has no stairs or a security bar. The bathroms are dirty and very small you can’t move without openening accidentally the door or closing the tap of the shower. The sinks are maybe 20cm ?!! You can’t wash your face at ease. The wifi IS HORRIBLE. There is one small shelf not enough to keep your phone from falling (i woke up at night because a phone fell from the bed on top next to me). It is really a horrible hostel from A to Z i don t even know how they are allowing this. I had for the same budget a better hostel way better this one in lisbon.

I spent 3 nights in this hostel. It’s important to know that this hostel is under renovation. 3-level bunk beds are extremely impractical, we had no lockers in the room. The laundromat was not available even though they advertise it. Bathrooms were stinky and dirty.

My experience was great, special thanks to Roberto for being so helpful and attentive to every request I made. Comfortable beds, dorm had an ok size, there is a kitchen available for the guests, accommodation offers extra blankets in case you need. Bathroom is tiny but does its job.

It was so terrible. There are really really small toilets and bathrooms. Like prison. Small bedroom with a lot of beds more than normal.so noisy bed. There ist any special rules. The other person come to my room at 2 or 3 in midnight. I had a very hard night there. Just I give one star for the kind people that work there.

Location of this hostel was great! Staff were friendly. Has full kitchen which is nice. Only down side is the bathrooms are small and there was rarely any toilet paper available.

I arrived in the middle of the night from a very late flight, and I was very happy to find that everyone at the hostel was very friendly and helpful! Our room was very clean and they provided us towels (rare for a hostel). The hostel itself is really cute and colorful. Overall, it’s a great value for your money. I definitely recommend this hostel if you’re in Lisbon!

The staff is fantastic! The location is close enough to walk to the center. Beds are comfy and rooms are big enough. Showers are nice and hot. Kitchen is well equipped. Walls don't block much sound at all and the rooms could be warmer. Parking is... ROUGH!

I love it. I'm thankful. They checked me in late at night. The French girl at night reception was very helpful after my miserable experience at another hostel. Cozy spot.

Rooms aren't well isolated, a bit of a smelly rooms and dirty bathrooms with lights that keep going off when you're inside. Staff is awesome though and they have excellent service

The rooms are great and the beds comfy, but the bathrooms are not nice as others have said. The showers are awful. We also needed a taxi to the airport but the front desk does not have a phone number, and couldn’t find one. Please fix that for future travelers, there must be a phone number for a taxi service...

Beds themselves were okay, but there were three major issues. First, the women’s and men’s bathrooms were moldy. The shower curtains had black mold on them & flies were coming out of the shower. Second, the wifi connection was low & would often disappear. Lastly, the hostel was located far from other attractions. Overall, not good for the price in comparison to other hostels in the area.

I must say my expectations were already quite low to begin with as you usually know what to expect going to a hostel. Checking in with 20 gentleman went quite smooth but unfortunately we did not got the rooms that we actually booked. We booked one private room, and to rooms of 8 and did not get the private room. This was not the biggest problem, the main issue was the unbearable heat at night, the loud noises of people in the hallways and the showers that were made for hobbits. These things combined made a part of the party book a hotel to have a night of sleep and really ensured our party to go home sleep deprived. The best and most note worthy plus side was the great service of the one girl running the reception by herself stressed out by the hard work. We don’t recommend staying here at all. Kind regards, 20 different guys with the same experience.

Our group was housed in the top floor, it was unbelievably hot and we were forced to keep the balcony doors open since there were no fans or ac. The doors were open to a public balcony that had people smoking in it at all times of the day (in spite of the closed after midnight sign) filling our hot room with cigarette smoke.

  • 2/5 Polar 1 year ago on Google
Location is great, staff is great, balcony and terrace are great, kitchen is fine, beds are fine, but toilets are very small and can't be properly closed, and the same issue with showers that are also cold. The building is also in quite a bad shape

  • 1/5 Olivia J. 1 year ago on Google
We did not stay, but we used Stasher to leave our bags here for a few hours (18 bags total), they were very friendly and answered the door immediately and even put our bags in a separate room for us as there were so many.... but when we came to collect them at the agreed time, we rang the bell, banged on the door screamed and shouted for about 30 minutes with no answer. Horrible experience and we almost missed our flight because of this, incredibly stressful. They were just inside the hostel so I have no idea how they couldnt hear a group of 18 women outside for that long, makes me think they were up to no good. Not acceptable.

  • 2/5 Lynn B. 1 year ago on Google
Doors are tricky to open, so you felt safe leaving all your important things in the hostel. Room felt spacious, though there was little furniture to put your stuff away. Bathroom with showers and toilets was extremely small. Brushing your teeth is a challenge, due to both limited space and a splashing tap. I don't recommend using the shower. The curtain made you feel gross, there's almost no space to put your stuff away, the water received small pressure and felt cold. Our reservation said there was a parking facility on site. At check-in they had no idea what we were talking about. This was a huge letdown, since it was our primary reason to choose this hostel.

  • 1/5 Floor A. 1 year ago on Google
No A/C no fan and really hot inside. Even when its outside only 28/30 Celsius. Showers and toilet are terrible. Entry card system is rubbish. Definitely not recommended!

  • 4/5 Greta N. 2 years ago on Google
The common room is great, there are a lot of plants and you can just chill there or hang out with people. In your room you have your own Safe where you can store luggage and valuables. Every bed has small sliding doors for privacy.

No laundromat. They advertised it on their site but the area is under construction so we werent able to use it. No lockers at all. Kids were drinking and being loud after quiet hours. The new shower areas are nice but not practical. There is no place to put your stuff.
