3 years since we had the pleasure of staying at this bnb and meeting Francisco and Maria. They are AWESOME and went above and beyond to help us have a really memorable and fun time when we were there working a festival. Musical stars in their own right. And the room and stay were perfect! Still recommending this place to friends. Can’t wait to go back one day.

Fabulous find! Great rooms, air con, massive hot showers and a good breakfast. Staff super friendly and helpful, particularly if you like Fado music. If you arrive after hours the accommodation door isn’t obvious so check the photos. Also, don’t worry that you can’t bolt the door from the inside. You can’t open from the outside without a key. Good access to the trains, Metro or walk to many great eating drinking and sightseeing spots. Enjoy.

Location is great! Short distance from the Taag, old city... nice neighbourhoud. Rooms are wel equiped, love the style. Maria and Pedro are lovely hosts!

Lovely little boutique hotel in a great part of Lisbon. Pedro was super nice and helpful. Wil stay there again.

Stayed here one night with my girlfriend. Excellent service, excellent rooms. Communicated through whatsapp, got a list of places to eat/visit. No issues, everything went smooth.

The place is lovely, the manager made us feel at home.The room is bigger that photos and clean , and the location is near to the principal spots and 5 minutes walking for metro station

Had a perfect stay. Rooms are very clean. Got cleaned every day. Location is very central. Everything is walkable in 10-15 min.

Dear Francesco, Dear Maria, We had an absolutely wonderful stay at your Casa do Mercado. We felt like home immediately after you showed us our room. We were looking forward to coming „home“ every evening and are more than thankful for such an experience in a foreign city! Unlike some of the reviews we didn’t have any issues with the sounds of the bars in the street. We slept absolutely awesome :) We will be back and are really looking forward to it!
