We found a Blue cave tour online on our last day in Split and decided to give it a go. Experitour support was fast and reliable and they managed to book us last minute. The trip itself was top quality and is really a must do!

We had just arrived to Lisbon and found experitour on google. Gave them a call and some minutes later they had our walking tour organized. Fast service and we really felt support from them. That is what we expect from travel agencies and they are doing a great job! Will recommend to friends as well. Keep on working guys!

I waited a long time for a refund for a trip canceled by the organizer. I finally received the refund but they charged 1.23 euro for that with no explanation. It's not a fortune but on the other hand no service was provided to me so it's a bit absurd.

On the first half of the journey, we visited many different caves which was lovely, and got to interact with the macaws on board. However, we were disappointed that we were not given the chance to go onto the beach inside the Benagil cave. The tour advertised this particular cave and it was the main reason that attracted us to go, so when were not able to go inside the cave, we felt as though we had been a bit cheated. I'm sure we were not the only ones who felt this way. It would have been nice if the boat had stopped near by and allowed us to swim to the beach even. Something to consider.

I did a kayak tour to the benagil caves in portugal with 4 friends and the best way i can think of to describe it is GHETTO. the tour was actually run by a different company, even though we booked it through experitour. The man managing the check-in was extremely rude and tried to charge us extra. We left way later than scheduled. They pretty much sent us off on our own, and about half way through a ‘tour guide’ showed up to direct us to the main cave. Then we spent about half an hour waiting for a boat to pull us back. During that journey my kayak filled with water and capsized. The caves were pretty and kayaks fun but would have loved a way better organized and informative tour.

We reserved a tour in Terceira Azores and it was clearly written that the cancellation and refund was easy and complete. After, we asked to cancel our reservation and I wrote 3 times and never had an answer. I had to call and pay for that call from Canada to Portugal to get the cancellation. I had a bad surprise when I cancelled because I paid 80 euros and the reimbursement was only 77.53 euros without any explanation. Originally, the price was in Canadian on the site but, in fact, it was in Euros and I paid 113 and got 102 back. We are very unhappy with their service and the lie on their site for the fees. I can't say anything about the tour obviously...

We were traveling as a group of 4 for the first time in Portugal. We did the village tour to Piodao. While our experience that day was beautiful and our guide was so friendly, there was some misinformation about what we had booked. When I booked our tickets, the experience advertised was described as a "visit to the villages of Piodao AND Monsanto." As newcomers to Portugal, we had no idea that of course it is not feasible to visit both of these iconic villages in the same tour; they are hours apart in different parts of the country. Our guide, who made it sound like she is privately contracted by Experitour, had NO IDEA that we had been told we were getting a visit to both villages. She gave us a wonderful experience either way, but it was disappointing that the third party had not given us an accurate description of the experience. Add to that the fact that the driving distances advertised by Experitour are TOTALLY wrong! It does not take 2-3 hours to get from Lisbon to Piodao; it takes every bit of 4 hours! It was well after 9:00pm when we were dropped back off at our apartment. When you have international travelers who are not familiar with driving distances, it is so important that you describe things accurately! While we were in Piodao, our van actually broke down and there was a period of time that we were not sure how we were going to make it home. I don't think this was anyone's fault and have not let it weigh too heavily in my review. Our guide tried to keep us calm and make sure that we were still having a great adventure. However, it was disconcerting not to understand the processes that were in place to deal with a situation like this (thanks to the language barrier and her rather casual attitude about the incident). Surely Experitour has a standard procedure if a car breaks down and strands tourists in one of these remote locations. We realized in the moment that having this kind of information ahead of time would have been immensely reassuring. As far as the sightseeing experience offered, we feel like we had a once-in-a-lifetime kind of day. However, I would not book with Experitour again because I was ultimately not happy with the accuracy or thoroughness of information provided to us, especially given that we did encounter an obstacle during our tour that profoundly affected our experience.

Do not book with this company, they will scam you. Our tour was cancelled on the morning of by receiving a WhatsApp message. They told us to email the company for a refund. 7 emails and 3 months later I still haven’t received a response. Had to file a dispute with my credit card company.

We got rented a broken kayak! As newbies we did not have any knowledge about kayaking beforehand. We first wanted to rent the newer model but the instructor recommended us the older model because it was more “stable”. But actually he was just trying to save the new kayaks to attract more customers. It turned out that there were 2 holes in the kayak so as we were rowing in the sea, water started to enter the kayak. The kayak started sinking in the middle of the sea. If we weren’t saved by a passing speedboat we would be stuck there in the sea… After coming back to shore only excuses as to why it is broken and that we can’t immediately get a refund because it was booked through the website. Even though the renting from the beach is from the same owner as renting through the website. We were then told to call the number of the “owner” in the evening. We called three times but nobody picked up the phone. No call back or anything. In the end NO REFUND and NO APOLOGY. A horrible experience, absolutely never renting from Experitour ever again.

Poor communication from tour operator. Our Tour was canceled due to not enough people sign up for the time slot but no email or message or Whatsapp to inform the tour was cancelled. Was told I will be refunded in full within 48 hours. A week has passed, no communication or contact from tour operator despite trying to reach out to them multiple times.

Booked a cruise in Douro river and all was smooth and the tour was good as expected. Support by WhatsApp was fast and reliable. Thanks!

We had to make some changes to our activity with very short notice, but they were very helpful and in the end I believe that the day got even better than our original plan. Everything with transportation, restaurant recommendation, catamaran and kayaking tour – it all went very smoothly. The whole group was really satisfied and had a great time.

The best tour to see the caves on the south coast of Portugal!! Nice boat, not too small, not too big, with a kind crew, good music to keep the atmosphere and a lovely three parrots to keep you company on the way. Also with a stop with a chance to go swimming and refresh a bit and with a free ice tee or possibility to buy a cold beer or sangria!! Loved it!! Money well spent!! Spela

It was a really amazing experience! And most worthy tour ever I’ve had!!! The staffs were so kind and helpful, the kayak was a bit scary (cause I’m not good at handling) but the view was awesome! And they let us stayed in the benagil cave, so we could took the pictures. I can highly recommend this experience!! Also I already recommended it to my friend who’ll visit Lagos :)

The booking process and website is fine, but any customer service needed after that point is terrible and I do not recommend using Experitour if you can avoid it. We attempted to cancel one of our bookings in order to choose a tour at a different time within the cancellation window, but still weeks after and after a few follow ups, we have not received any response or refund. Then, the other tour with did sign up for at our preferred time was cancelled because not enough people booked it - this was understandable and we were informed the night before. However, the local tour guides at the kayaking tour told us that we would be refunded the difference through Experitour as this new time was cheaper than our early morning tour. Again, after multiple emails and follow ups, we have yet to receive a response or refund from this company.

They sell us an activity on a luxury boat with only 9 people, we find ourselves facing a 20 year old boat; with 16 people on the boat!!! Scams, they can't find a solution for us and take 2 hours to refund the deposit. Avoid booking based on images, go directly to the port
