Lisbon has a lot of interesting murals and elements made of ceramic tiles or, in this case, paving stones. Amália Rodriguez is an important figure in Portuguese culture.

This is a pavement monument making us of Calcada portuguesa (Portuguese cobblestone) in the image of a young Amalia Rodrigues also known as the Queen of Fado. You can see the curved monument on the ground just along Rua São Tomé in the Alfama district. It is convenient to visit if exploring the area between Castelo de São Jorge and Miradouro de Santa Luzia.
