She skipped the usual touristy places and led us to inner places of Lisbon that shows how beautiful and rich the city is! She capped the tour by leading us somewhere we can see the majestic sunset!

I just took this tour today with Liliana and it was amazing! A lot of walking, but definitely worth it. She was engaging and funny! The tour was a good mix of the city. I especially loved the history lesson at the beginning! I am bummed that I only had one day in Portugal, because I do wish I had gotten to see some of the historical aspects. The communication from Liliana and Jose is very good! Before I arrived today, I must have changed my dates and times a couple times. They emailed me back with my details and were very accommodating! We had a wonderful tour with Beatriz on 13 Sept 2023. I was able to register on their website just minutes before the 4:30 tour started. I received a confirmation email and text through WhatsApp with detailed instructions of how to find our guide. The tour starts with about a 20 minute talk about the history of Portugal. Beatriz was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic when telling us about her county. The tour took about 3 hours, exploring the different neighborhoods and learning about their history. I highly recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your time in Lisbon! And don’t forget to wear comfortable walking shoes!

I was on tour with my friend today, the 29th of December, and we had a good time with José, our Tour Guide. He gave a very informative historical perspective of Lisbon and the Portuguese people as far back as 5,000 years ago. I particularly enjoyed his view on the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, the reconstruction by Sebastião de Melo (1st Marquis of Pombal), the “onion story” in front of José Saramago building and seeing the Alfama neighbourhood. Oh, I learnt the new word “Alfama é linda”. I highly recommend this 100% if you are new to Lisbon and you want to enjoy the history of the place from a local perspective. Oh, it's absolutely free!

We took a tour with Rita, who knows everything about Lisbon from the old ancient history to the modern time. All buildings that we have just past without any attention over the past few days looked completely different with her story during the tour. Especially the alleyways in Alfama were our favourite part of the tour and spent another few hours wandering around there after the tour by ourselves. Just a bit over three hours very well spent, and we would recommend Rita to anyone who would come to Lisbon.

Jose does a great tour through several areas of Lisbon. totally not the tourist perspective. If you want to get to know something other tourists don't join their tour. It's full of information and you get a perspective on the history of the city. Be prepared though it last most likely 3 hours and it goes up the hills on foot.

At a short visit to Lisbon, I wanted to have a quick tour to the heart of the city. I registered to a Chill-out Lisbon tour following a warm recommendation, and got a great introduction to the city center from lovely Liliana Cardoso. We got some history background, and a great city view. All was done with great professionality, humor and tons of energy. Even some drops of rain didn't spoil our joy of the tour. Fully recommended!

A little history, a little architecture, a little food and wine and 4 neighborhoods - everything in 2,5 hours. We experienced an incredible tour with Jose this morning. He’s a fountain of knowledge about Lisbon’s history, culture, and architecture. The brisk walk crossed many interesting neighbourhoods, away from the usual tourist sights.
