The museum is in the formerly abandoned building of neurosurgery service of St. Antony of Capuchins' Hospital. Despite the old appearance of the building, the interior is quite clean with modern look. there are 7 rooms in total in the museum, each dedicated to specific era in the history of health in Portugal. the museum itself was very small. I expected a more detailed and more rich collection considering the history of Portugal. But it can be explained by the date of opening of the museum in 2017. There is no shop there. It has free entrance on Wednesdays from 10 to 18

The museum itself is not a great thing, I think it is worth taking a tour to see how medicine advances over the years! Everything well taken care of, clean! Another museum to add to my collection!

Fantastic exhibition with the evolution of Health in Portugal. Although not very large, it is well equipped with objects with history. Super friendly staff. On the weekend it wasn't difficult to park nearby. Worth the visit!

(Translated by Google) Very interesting museum, integrating hospital assets from Lisbon from the post-earthquake period to the present day, including didactic material previously used for teaching at the Faculty of Medical Sciences. A vast collection of models representing diseases of the oncological, dermatological and infectious fields stands out, in which the hospital of Santo António dos Capuchos has made history in Portugal. There is also hospital furniture, sanitary and surgical equipment, and the bibliographic archive of the Civil Hospitals (especially the HSAC). It is unfortunate that the museum's little influx, the little interest and esteem that the State pays to it, as well as to all the heritage where it is inserted.

(Translated by Google) Museum opened in April 2017 with the exhibition “800 Years of Health in Portugal”. There are still few initiatives related to this type of heritage, which makes this space unique. For anyone who is interested, I also recommend the Dermatology Collection (Mello Breyner Sá Penella. Caeiro Carrasco) based at the Hospital de Stº António dos Capuchos.

Little publicized museum. Quite small but with good content for a good understanding of what medicine was like in Portugal at various times in history. The incredible staff with very good knowledge on the subject. Very dedicated and enthusiastic people. You can find a bit of passion for what you are doing. The museum is well preserved. It was worth the visit
