Friendly, helpful, professional. The practitioners are well trained. It was easy to relax and discuss any issues. Definitely the good alternative option for pain management, general health and well-being.

It's my first acupuncture experience and I feel being taken care of at Sun. I highly recommend this place and the treatments help me a lot with regulating my migraine attacks. I'm everytime very relaxed and balanced after a session. If you do not speak Portuguese, don't worry, the practitieners speak English :)

Hairs and dust on the floor of the treatment room repeatedly(lack of hygiene). Not ethical, professional or even wise and respectful for acupuncturist Eduardo to write on a patient clinical record, that has to be seen by a psycologist, due to having chronic pain, fatigue, as he is NOT clinically qualified. Reveals also lack of empathy towards a patient, lack of respect and abuse. Stick with what you are qualified for, not anything else. Respect a patient.

Eduardo is a miracle worker. I pulled my back out and could barely get out of bed. After one session I was able to walk with minimum pain and after the second treatment I'm pain free. Very affordable and effective work. Thank you so much!

I cannot express how wonderful these guys are. When threatened with a debilitating cervical injury and while waiting for the international medical system to catch up, Eduardo and his team provided the only relief I was able to get for my condition (plus the ability to explain in English my issues and concerns). After four months of physio and osteo appointments, and what has been a very frustrating medical experience generally, I continue to look forward to my weekly visits to SUN Centro - and the pain relief I see as a result. These are the only guys I actually pay for out of pocket and it is worth EVERY penny. Not a fan of "needles," but SUN Centro literally has been a life saver for me, and I am very thankful that I found them. I couldn't recommend them more, to anyone in need of pain relief, and a sympathetic or understanding ear.

They speak perfect English, are really chilled people who know what they are doing and are generous with their time.. I'll be back

My healing home since I moved to Lisbon this spring. Salvador and Eduardo (and more) have created a perfect center for all of your health needs. Acupuncture can be tricky to find the practitioners that respond to you in the way that is most comfortable. Here they are. Intuitive. Incredibly educated. In a warm easy clean environment right at Rato. Superb treatments at a very reasonable price.

Salvador is an excellent acupuncturist. I suffered with allergies a lot these last five years and since the pandemic my issue with; dust, hayfever, animals, wool, fur or any new environment seemed to become highly problematic and trigger my allergic reactions. After just 4 sessions with SUN, all my symptoms are completely eradicated. I am so grateful that I visited this practice. It’s helped me in more ways than I ever envisioned and I’m very grateful - thank you.

Highly recommended! Acupuncture is not painful, and it works! About me and why I ended up going to acupuncture: Dislocated elbow - Fracture - All tendons of my elbow tore - Five weeks of a cast Status : Pain. I was in so much pain....! I could barely move my arm, and my doctor recommended Acupuncture besides my physio to help me to recover mobility and try to have a normal life. I just completed my 10th session of acupuncture at Sun Medical Center, and I cannot recommend it enough. I never tried acupuncture before, but the sessions helped to reduce the pain so much that I could progress in my rehabilitation and treatment. Acupuncture is not a magic pill guys if you want this to work, you need to give time and at least two rounds of 3 sessions. Salvador was my acupuncturist during my treatment, and he did a fantastic job helping me to recover! He is entertaining and knowledgeable, and I am grateful for his help. My doctor was shocked to see how much have I improved after the accident. I was worried that acupuncture would be painful and that because the area was so sensitive after the accident that it was going to be a horrible experience to put needles, but I can confirm that is not painful and it helps you to heal and recover after an accident or severe pain case. Professional, kind, and so effective I felt really relieved today, after an intense, relaxing and very effective session, starting with a massage in the most painful areas and then cupping, acupuncture and heat. A small place, but the staff are lovely and the treatments very competitively priced. I went in there with some muscular tension and palpitations, and the latter has completely resolved after doing some acupuncture. I also feel less tense, but in this case there has been a less marked difference, at least subjectively. Happy to have gone, and still have another session to go which I am looking forward to.
