The local guides (Filipe) are amazing. They know Lisbon very well a'd gave us loads of good adresses to eat and drink. We did 2 walks in Lisbon, one Best of and one culinairy toour and I would recommend both. Be sure to taste some Vino Verde's as our guide mentioned they are picking up in popularity and are worth it

We had a great tour with Madalena on our food & wine tour in Lisbon. She's super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Couldn't recommend this enough. If you are staying in Lisbon definitely go on this tour with Madalena at the start of your holiday (if you can) she helped us out for the rest of our stay, where to eat, cost, what to see etc.. :)

We had an amazing time with our tour guide, Daniel. It was the perfect way to experience Lisbon, seeing the sights and enjoying the food and wine along the way. Daniel was really lovely and gave us some great tips and insider knowledge.

What an amazing day. Joana was fabulous and really shared her love for the city, the history, how to get around, and the pastel da nata and cod cake/wine were perfectly timed (and really good!). I am glad I did this in my first day in town and definitely excited to explore the city more. Don't look any further. Book. This. Trip!! And the map they give isn't just tourist map, i got lost and google was directing me to steep hill... I was able to sort alternative using her tips ☺️

I had a great walking tour led by a very charismatic and knowledgeable young man by the name of Tiago. He is by trade an architect and knows so much about local history and the architecture of the Lisbon. The tour is nicely tailored where you stop for a break in the middle and taste Portuguese pastry and at the end you’ll have wine and cheese. It is a very generous tour for the price you pay and you get to know Lisbon quite well.

We went to to Fátima, Óbidos, Nazaré and Batalha with Inside Lisbon tour a few weeks ago. It was a very fun day although it was rain ☔️ too much. The tour guy, his name is Juan or Joan or John something........ I don’t know how to pronounce his name 😂. He was amazing, high energy, very knowledgeable, great social life skill, speak very good English, has a University Degree in Lisbon. Inside Lisbon should glad to have him.

We only had 24 hrs in Lisbon. This was a great way to cover alot of ground & get a history lesson. Our guide was excellent. 10/10 recommend.

We booked the Obidos-Nazaré-Fátima tour from Lisbon and had a great time! Our guide Ricardo was so nice and informative about each stop. He also switched up the stop order so we got to Obidos before the huge Christmas crowds which left us more time at Nazaré, Batalha Monastery, and Fátima. The van was comfortable and I felt like we had the right amount of time in each stop. Batalha Monastery is such a hidden gem- absolutely gorgeous church/monastery that was nearly empty while we were there. Overall very pleased and would book again with Inside Lisbon

We did two days of small group tours with Inside Lisbon. The first tour with Miguel to Sintra including Peña Palace and Cascais. He was an amazing guide, super informative and clear communicating. Second day we did Fatima, Nazaré and Obidoš. The sights were great here, the day trip felt easier, and the guide was ok. The experience definitely depends on the group and the guide. Would do again

I couldn't participate in the tour program because I couldn't find a means of transportation on the date it should be, but this company has such a good commercial ethics that it did its best to include me in the tour program and we planned it 3 days later. (A tour company in Madrid, Spain, had not done this). The guide miguel is confident and has a great command of the history of the city. The weather was rainy, but believe me, it added excellent fiction, everything was very good, in addition, the westernmost tip of Europe was Cabo do Roca or they took it, it was a very different experience. We booked a day trip to Sintra and Caiscais! We ended up with Bernard as our guide! What an amazing guide he was! Easy going, extremely passionate about his country and all it has to offer! He has a masters in international tourism and it’s evident that he is serious about what he does/how to make the tour effective! He was informative, easy to listen to and more importantly able to answer pretty much any question thrown his way! We had an amazing time and the day flew by! I felt that he gave a “behind the scenes” tour of Pena Palace! He focused on all of the “main” information but also added in little interesting details that made the experience even richer! He drove very carefully up/down the hills and made some great recommendations during our tour! Highly recommend!

We booked this day trip to Fatima ,Batalha,Nazare ,and Obidos via Viator. Everything was as described our driver Paulo was an excellent driver and an excellent guide he explained perfectly the history and the culture of Portugal. We really enjoyed very much this trip and strongly advise it

We were lucky enough to be with Daniel for our most excellent Food and Wine tour last Friday. Daniel was friendly and a great group facilitator. We all got friendlier as the tour went along! Really enjoyed Daniel's explanations and sharing his culinary and Wine knowledge along with his personal stories of growing up in this beautiful country. We had an amazing tour with Daniel. He interspersed historical facts about Lisbon with his own experiences and was charming and funny. The tour gave our family a great overview of the historical district. It was our second tour with Inside Lisbon as we had done one the week before with Joanna with our friends and the second with Daniel and our kids and both were excellent! The two tastings of traditional pastry and tapas were delicious! Both tours guides were accommodating of our dietary requirements and called ahead to ensure we had vegetarian and non-fish options! Had an amazing experience with Joanna on the walking tour! She was incredibly passionate about Lisbon and taught us loads about the city and its history in such a short time span. The tour was super comprehensive and we saw so much of the city. Joanna took us on paths where we were able to go to uphill and downhill easily and it was a really well paced tour. The tastings were also great. I had one of the best tour experiences ever. Highly highly recommend!!

The 'Best of Lisbon Walking' tour was one of the best walking tours taken to date. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of Lisbon's history and attractions. This was a well-paced tour with a taste of cod-cakes and green wine. I would highly recommend this to those visiting Lisbon.

The Tour was fantastic. We had an individual named Anna that was simply awesome. She was knowledgeable of all the places, and was obliviously well known by the locals which made the experience feel authentic. Anytime you wanted to ask a question, she always had a great answer for you. if you just arrived to Lisbon, this should be the first thing you should do. Very professional and fun!

We did a half day tour today. Matthew was our guide and did a splendid job!! He astounded us with his knowledge of Portugal and even more. He has endless historical facts to share and not to mention his knowledge on the Portuguese wine and the industry. We really had a great tour and would recommend the Inside Lisbon definitely as a must. It is the best and worth the money!!!

We did a couple of tours with Inside Lisbon. 1) The Fatima , Obidos tour - Nuno was out tour guide. He was amazing, helpful and funny. The tour itself was great. We would never have gone on our own to these towns and hence this day trip from Lisbon was perfect. We loved Obidos and it was a delightful little village! The tour gave us enough time at Obidos , Fatima. We stopped at Nazare for lunch and also at Batalha. Both were nice. Overall a great experience. We were travelling with our daughter who is 7 years old and she enjoyed the tour too. The car was convenient. Highly recommend this tour. 2) The Sintra Cascais tour - Patricia was our tour guide. We did this tour today. :) she was amazing again. Our daughter enjoyed interacting with her. She was informative and funny as well. Sintra is a great choice. A must see here is the Pena palace , it was gorgeous. The tour allowed enough time explore the Pena palace. We had lunch near the historic centre at Sintra. We then proceeded to visit the Capa de Roca ( western most tip of the European continent ). Also had enough time here for soaking in the beauty and some great pictures. We stopped at Guincho for a quick photo break and then went to Cascais. Cascais was great and we had an hour to explore. Both the tours were compact and perfect. However you could spend atleast a day at Sintra and Cascais. I would have skipped Fatima. The tours gave us exactly what we were looking for and it worked very well for us.

Joana was our tour guide for our Best of Lisbon walking tour. Joana was passionate about Lisboa and presented the history and local information in a logical and easy to understand manner. She displayed empathy with her tour group walking at an appropriate pace with regular stops. Joana encouraged questions and answered with confidence. We walked away having learnt much of the local history and well informed on what to do next in Lisbon. Thank you for a great introduction to your city and what it has to offer. The tart, cod fish and green wine samples were also a pleasant surprise.

Remarkable tour experience! Definitely recommend this tour company! It first started with some confusion as we booked over the weekend....they accepted our reservation but didn't have enough seats in the van on the day of the tour!. But Inside Lisbon was able to rectify the situation quickly with patience and charm. Another tour guide drove us back to their HQS, quickly grabbed another tour guide, and found us another van...which resulted in a private tour! We had an exceptional and knowledgeable local named Hugo as our new guide. He was one of the best tour guides! He made the tour memorable even during a pandemic;. he had vast knowledge of the area but focused on the unique history and trivia facts at each site. He shared tips only locals would know, including a little-known hill path that overlooked the bay in Nazare. He made us feel like old friends who were sharing memories and jokes along the way. We had a great experience!

We did the Sintra, Cascais & Estoril tour on Jan 14th 2023. It was fabulous! We had 3 minibuses on a tour from a cruise ship and the staff were fun, friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Our driver John (Anglicized version) was amazing. The other two, Ricardo and Patricia, were also engaging and knowledgeable. I would definitely use this company again when in Lisbon.

My wife and I did the Inside Lisbon, Arrabida wine tour yesterday and Mar (Marilla) was our guide. She had such a lovely manner, and was so knowledgeable about all aspects of our tour, while giving us lots of other very interesting information about Portugal and places to visit. She was very helpful and we really enjoyed her company and we’re delighted to have had her as our tour guide.

We took the Lisbon Experience tour February 26th with Jose. We highly recommend any tours he leads. He was super knowledgeable about the history of Portugal as well as the various neighborhoods in Lisbon. He took time to answer any questions we had and spoke excellent English. We learned more about Portugal/Lisbon in 4 hours than we had in all of our reading in various tour books. Consider yourself lucky if you have a tour with him.
