If you're looking for a breathtaking view of Lisbon, be sure to visit the Graça Viewpoint. This stunning viewpoint offers panoramic views of the city and is one of the best places in Lisbon to take in the beauty of the cityscape. Located in the Graça neighborhood, the viewpoint is easily accessible by public transportation or on foot. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted with a breathtaking view of Lisbon's historic center, including the red roofs, narrow streets, and the Tagus River in the distance. The viewpoint is particularly beautiful at sunset, when the sky turns golden and the lights of the city start to twinkle. It's a romantic spot that's perfect for couples, but it's also a great place for solo travelers or groups of friends to enjoy the view. There are several cafes and restaurants nearby, so you can grab a drink or a bite to eat while taking in the view. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can explore the charming Graça neighborhood, which is full of narrow streets, historic buildings, and local shops. Overall, the Graça Viewpoint is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Lisbon. The view is unforgettable, and the neighborhood is full of charm and character. Be sure to bring your camera, because you'll want to capture this amazing experience.

Excellent view point with no entry fee and with free music performance and singing and quite good actually. Of course tips are much appreciated 😉 it does have steep climb or many stairs to get up there - a good workout for sure 😀 visited twice during my visit. Lovely views!😍😍

Beautiful views of Lisbon, not as high up as Miradouro Senhora do Monte but equally spectacular. Smallish viewing area so can get very overcrowded especially during the summer months and at sunset. Small coffee shop kiosk available.

The views are lovely, but be warned: the viewpoint is small and extremely crowded in peak months. We visited in mid August, and there was a horde of people covering the view. Of course, it's free and the view is nice, but there are far better spots in Lisbon if you're willing to pay for admission tickets. The walk up to the scenic point is beautiful, but when you get there... It's just a big crowd of humanity and couples aggressively showing PDA. If you want the best views, go somewhere else.

This is one of the 2 scenic observation decks in Lisbon. This gives you the city view from an elevated location. This offere stunning views of Lisbon, including São Jorge Castle and the Tagus River. A must-visit spot for panoramic cityscape lovers. Best to visit during evenings.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful sunset. The only thing is too many people. Tips for nice photo: if you want to take photo for the view, you can stand on the bench. If you want to take photo for the view with person in, find a seat in cafe next, and tip staff, and there is a small area they will let you use quickly to take some nice photo.

A very beautiful place worth visiting! The sunset in the late afternoon is a spectacle apart! I recommend visitation for all ages! The place is easily accessible and the people who attend are usually polite and quiet! 👏🏻 🌅 🇵🇹

A nice little viewing point that's next to the church, and a cafe if you want to sit back and relax somewhere with a good view (although expect people to be crowding the view taking photos). If you're walking to this spot using Google maps, you should set the church as your destination. Once you arrive, keep walking around it until you reach the view point otherwise it can lead you to a dead end up a hill.

Lisbon at its best. Wonderful for a drink in the afternoon until sunset. The most beautiful golden light and incredible view over the city. From this point you can see north-south and west. You can sit at the edge of the city with a vibrant atmosphere behind you. A must do when in the city.

Stunning views of the city here. The stairs up to get here suck but the view makes up for it. There’s a cafe at the top so you can enjoy the view with some coffee and food. The graffiti and art along the stairs makes the climb worth it

Such a beautiful place. After the church service sitting outside with the view around is amazing and the atmosphere around is super chill. The guy singing outside was truly world class with his voice, tune and music. Spoke to him and found out that his group is called G combo. The weather, his singing and view…all made for a perfect setting. In November the weather is amazing. Dont know about the other months though.

🎟️ Ticket's just 5 euros, but totally worth it! Gets you up on the rooftop with an amazing view and a welcome drink! 🌅 Viewpoint The scenery? Absolutely breathtaking! We hit this spot twice for some killer Lisbon sunsets. 🍷 Welcome Drink Their welcome drinks? So diverse! They've got everything from soft drinks to wines. 💁🏻 Tips Oh, and you can snag some chairs! Grabbed a couple and chilled for the sunset. ☺️

The church itself is very beautiful, although by itself it would only deserve 4 stars. The thing that lifts this score up and that i would recomend to antone is to buy tickets to the rooftop. The view is amazing and you also do get a free drink included in the ticket

This is a very nice viewpoint just beside the Church of Our Lady of Grace in the Graca neighbourhood. You'll find fine views of the city to the west and should be able to make out several landmark buildings, the Tangus River and 25 of April Bridge in the distance. Look to the southwest you will see St. George Castle perched on the nearby hillside. There is a kiosk selling drinks, quite a few tables to sit, relax and enjoy the environs under tall, mature pine trees that provide a good amount of shade. Interestingly, the formal name of this viewpoint is Miradouro Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen (1919-2004), in memory of the Portuguese poet & writer who apparently frequented this location during her lifetime.

Nice viewpoint under a large tree and right next to the Church of Our Lady of Grace (of which a portion is open the public without charge). A small cafe/bar with some food. Plenty of serviced tables if you'd like to have your refreshment sitting, or you can take it to go.

It’s a small space, but the view is stunning. There’s a cafe with good, fresh food and wine, and a restroom nearby (where you leave a donation to use it. Please, be generous, those people deserve that). Great place day and night!

Probably the best viewpoint/miradouro in Lisbon. Not just because of the breathtaking view (it is really breathtaking), but also because of the easy logistics around it (there are enough seated places and shade for everyone), great service at impeccable prices. Great spot to relax, drink/eat something, and enjoy the view!

A beautiful church and a rooftop viewpoint that was great. Only 5 Euro but it included a drink for which we enjoyed a glass of port with our view. Maybe not too exciting for younger people. Check your time for when the bell rings. It is loud on the roof.

Blown away but not in the good way. „terrace“ was non-existing and it was so windy that you couldn’t even spend 5 minutes up there. Quite the rip-off for 5€. You can have pretty much the same view for free at the entrance

My favorite place in Lisboa. Great view for the sunset. You have a bar next to the church. Of course, you’ll have to go uphill to deserve this amazing miradouro. Also There can be many tourists.

One of the best view point in Lisbon, also it is in one of the oldest part of the city and full of historical and beautiful buildings!

A visit to this view point is simply a MUST. Really impressive view over the whole city. Panorama including the castle, tejo bridge 25 april. the entire city centre. Beautiful square directly in front of the church and convent, also worth seeing.

Very nice outlook near a church and a nice square and other streets with a lot of restaurant night life. Pretty busy and construction works were blocking a lot of access as of early August 2023. Hiking the hills or steps might be required to some extent

Lovely viewpoint , but it’s a little too crowded with construction and cafe seatings. But still worth a visit especially on your way to cafe garagem.

Be prepared for a 6-7 staircases! Not an easy climb during the summer days. We also saw couple homeless people.. The view is good, but this place is super overcrowded.

During my time in Lisbon I went hey every day, sometimes even twice. The viewpoint offers a stunning scenery of this beautiful city. It can be very crowded in the evening, so if you want to catch the sunset you should come early enough.

Lisbon's beautiful vistas beneath the pine trees of Castel St Jorge - it doesn't get much better!

  • 4/5 Ofek S. 1 year ago on Google
It is a small viewpoint with a coffee right next to it, i found it a little overcrowded with not many people that can stand there, there is a tree that's blocking some of the view and if you are coming especially for this viewpoint I would recommend better ones in the area. If you are already in the area it is nice to come up and see as its free and you can refresh with a coffee and something small to eat.

Amazing view point of Lisbon and the sunset!! 🤍🤍🤍 If you want a front row seat highly suggested to get there at least 45 minutes before sunset time. There is a clean public. Restroom in the little plaza you will walk by while entering the area (.20€ for use). Skip getting a table and grab some drinks from the cart any post up on the wall/rail for a front row. Note that this is prime seating for watching the sunset over Lisbon so people will be aggressive in trying to get that vantage point. I was with my partner so she grabbed a couple of seats on the railing wall while I ordered us a couple of gin & tonics (12€ for both, you will be charge .50€ for each plastic cup… we are still traveling with ours.) Once you post up make sure you stay put as people will immediately jump in to take your place. After the sunset we ordered a couple of more g&t’s for our walk down the hill.

One of the best viewpoints in Lisbon. We came there by an electric tuck-tuck from commerce square.

A wonderful plaza in which to rest or read (I did both). Well maintained with a WC (.50€). Close to the top of the elevator for those who really don't do steps.

  • 3/5 Mel 1 year ago on Google
VERY crowded and unless you’re planning to chill at the bar/cafe next to the viewpoint for some time, not sure it’s worth getting there to enjoy the view or to take pictures, because it is so crowded with tourists (and patrons of the cafe who will just sit there and not move for you to get a nice picture). The walk around the area is nice though, just be prepared to hike uphill and walk many steps.

My favorite miradouro in Lisbon! What could be better than a cafe in front of a cathedral with a view of the entire city during sunset? Get a beer or wine or coffee and enjoy! But note there is currently construction and only half the terrace is available

It takes a bit of effort to climb the hills to it, but it's worth it. View is fantastic
