As
an
expat
living
in
Portugal,
Vodafone
has
made
it
incredibly
difficult
to
pay
online,
over
the
phone,
and
in
person.
Today
I
needed
to
recharge
my
sim
card
to
get
another
month
of
data.
The
website
wasn't
allowing
me
to
pay
online
in
any
way
as
Credit,
Debit,
and
Paypal
were
not
working
on
the
website.
I
wasn't
even
directed
to
a
page
on
the
website
to
pay
for
the
service.
I
called
the
customer
service
agent
and
he
couldn't
get
the
website
to
work
either
nor
would
he
allow
me
to
pay
over
the
phone
in
the
year
2021.
So
I
had
to
travel
all
the
way
across
town
to
pay
for
the
data
plan.
The
first
customer
service
agent
was
quite
rude
to
me
after
I
asked
if
he
was
available.
This
was
after
waiting
in
line
and
waiting
for
my
number
to
be
called.
There
was
no
one
else
in
line
or
in
the
store
yet
he
refused
to
help
me.
Then
someone
walked
into
the
store
and
he
helped
that
person
instead.
It
was
rude.
Finally
another
agent
came
onto
the
floor
and
told
me
I
could
go
to
an
ATM
or
café
to
pay
for
my
data
plan,
but
as
an
expat
without
a
NIF
number
this
is
impossible
to
do.
Thankfully
after
experiencing
a
rude
agent
then
another
who
mansplained
how
to
pay
which
I
already
knew
how
to
do,
but
could
not
do
it
due
to
being
an
expat
then
I
was
finally
able
to
pay
for
my
data
plan
in
the
store.
To
conclude,
I
was
unable
to
pay
online,
over
the
phone
or
at
an
ATM
or
café
in
the
year
2021.
Expats
living
in
Portugal
need
better
phone
options,
online
platforms
that
actually
work,
and
better
customer
service.
This
was
an
overall
poor
experience.
The
only
reason
I'm
giving
two
stars
instead
of
one
is
because
at
least
I
got
to
pay
for
my
service.
It
just
could
have
been
a
WAY
better
and
easier
experience.
