The Museum of Sao Roque is attached to the historic Church of Sao Roque at Largo Trindade Coelho. Entry is (€2.50 per adult). You can also see the church (free entry) as part of your visit. The Museum includes two floors and probably 9-10 gallery rooms filled with church artefacts, artworks and other historic religious items. Highlight of the museum are the treasures from the Chapel of St. John the Baptist which is located in the Church near the high altar. There is also a cafe with inner courtyard seating and access if you fancy a drink or bite to eat before or after your visit to the museum. In the end, the collection at the Museum of Sao Roque is really good, a fitting complement to seeing the church and overall very good combined experience. Recommend allowing around 20+ minutes to browse the full museum collection.

A very interesting museum for those who likes religion and its timeline. Full of items from the past even from different centuries, I was in awe at the clothes and objects.

The exhibit is massive with lots of religious stuff. Some are very golden and shiny. I just feel it’s very lavish and treasure-some. Some amazing arts work including sculptures and paintings.

With the Lisbon card the entrance fee is a mere € 1,=. That, however, is still at least € 1,= too much. The only reason to visit the museum is to get a glimpse of the church next door through a glass door, if the church is closed. Unfortunately you’re not allowed within 5 meters of the only possible reason to visit this museum. With so much to see in Lisboa, spend your time wisely... elsewhere.

The admission fee is not much but it's a nice walk through. Not a must see, but good to spend a bit of time here if you're into it.

A small, simple museum showcasing some of Lisbon's gems. Its hidden in plain sight. We went in on a rainy day and took us 25 to 45 minutes. Clean and well kept except the lighting was poor for the art.

More sacremental gold services than I have ever encountered and the embroidery on the vestments on display is amazing. Additional detail about the elephant in the church and the large reliquary collection would be welcome.

Very interesting museum occupying the space of the old Professed House of the Society of Jesus adjoining the Church of St Roque. The museum contains reliquaries, altars, paintings, and statues from the 16th-18th Century.

An amazing museum, and very cheap. A pearl in Lisbon thst should have more visitors, it is mostly empty of tourism. Very well located near one of the best sightseeings in Lisbon. You really should go, the ticket is €2,50.

This is attached to the Jesuit church, but unlike the church, you will pay to enter this museum (€5). Really it's not a lot to pay for a decent museum. Still there are a lot of neat pieces to be seen here as well as a continuation of the architecture of the church. There's also a nice statue out front.

Interesting museum with lots of focus on St Joaquim and St Ann. I thought it was quite dark and a lot of the art is not well lot to see (and appreciate).

It's attached to the church and for 2.50 it is well worth it. They don't accept card and you need exact change.

Love this whole area of Lisbon. Nice views from here and off the beaten tourist track head into the neighbourhoods.

Stunning. The richness of art and symbolism of religion is incredible. A must see. The museum is worth the 5 eur. History dating back to the early 16th century.

The church is beautiful, the museum is okay. You can see the Roque church and skip the museum if you want. Not a big loss.

This museum is home to the largest collection of relics in the country, courtesy of the Society of Jesus/Jesuits. From throughout the ground level, I could still hear the lobby staff talking pretty loudly, which was somewhat surprising given the nature of the exhibition. All in all, it's worth a quick look and takes less than 30 minutes.

Interesting given the association with the church and the historical context of the collection. There are some impressive examples of sacred objects and elaborate altar ornamentations. There are other museums with better, more extensive collections.

The basilica worth much more to visit. The museum is very small and not significant. Free over 65, 2.50 otherwise.
