We had a great guided tour here. If you like Art Deco, you should not miss this.

    1. You must go on a group tour. 2. There are no written descriptions to identify any of the works. It is only a verbal description by the tour guide. 3. The paintings are mediocre. 4. The furniture is quite good. 5. Some of the decorative glass, silver, lamps are quite good. 6. The entry price is very reasonable. 7. The wines were mediocre.

If you are into architecture, design and art this is a must! The guide was extremely attentive and gave so many interesting information regarding the pieces. They only offer guided tours so check tour times beforehand.

Having lived in Lisbon for over 20 years, I've visited almost everything there is, and this museum is now one of my favorites. The history of art deco is beautifully curated and you're surrounded by unique works of art and history. The building and of course and the guided tours are just a perfect cherry on top! 🍒 Check out the schedule and take a tour with Raquel Pina so you can experience what true passion and enthusiasm for the building, the art, the furniture, the sculptures and the most amazing stories behind them look like. From the very first moment you can see the spark in her eyes and the curiosity in her heart. It's really bloody contagious! To finish off my visit, I sampled the most amazing wine selection. Can't wait to come back again! 💛

A great collection and an amazing guided tour! Our guide, Inês, was very knowledgeable and told us not only about the history, materials and symbolism behind the pieces in the collection, but also some great stories that we'll remember! We loved it and highly recommend it!

If you like art and you like wine, you will love this. Exceptional value if you only saw the museum but it also includes a wine tasting. Our tour guide was very patient with us and the front desk staff was fantastic. Highly recommended.

We discovered this private museum by chance - luckily! The rooms of the lovingly preserved house contain an impressive collection of art and design from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras. We were spontaneously given a tour of the rooms (6 euros well spent per person) - with lots of interesting information. At the end there is a little wine tasting 😉

Great collection of art nouvou and art deco artefacts. Visit is by pre booked guided tour which cost €6 and includes wine tasting at end of tour. The guide was informative and approachable, the group was small so I could wander off or linger by any particular piece that I found more interesting than others. In my opinion one of the best museums in Lisbon even for those without a specific interest in this particular genre.

The tour was interesting and informative. Well worth the 5euro price just for the wine tasting at the end of the tour.

The art in the museum is quite spectacular, it really takes you back! The tour is also quite nice and the addition of a wine tasting session at the end for the cheap price of 5 euros (guided tour + wine tasting) makes the whole event quite budget-friendly. With this being said, I felt the tour was quite rushed, like there wasn't much time to look around and really appreciate the pieces and the tour guide could be quite unpleasant at times.

An old Lisbon building provides the perfect context for the decorative arts collection. With small living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and offices, it creates the sensation of the visitor entering the home of a rich Lisbon collector from the beginning of the 20th century. Intimate spaces value all objects. The disadvantage of this form of museumization is that it does not dispense with the monitoring of a mediator who conditions the pace of the visit. There are also no wall texts or information tables. All information during the visit depends on the mediator. However, after the visit it is possible to download the collection catalog from the internet.

More like Be Glad you got this amazing deal! For just 6 Euros we got a guided tour not only through art history but a beautiful building and countless stunning pieces. So lovely! The guide was thoughtful and insightful, the history was fascinating, and each room was overflowing with creativity. To top it off the tour ends with a wine tasting in their lovely gardens. A true highlight of our trip to Lisbon!

The place is just great! And the guide was very nice, the only complaint - it was too fast, i would prefer to spend more time inside. I don't know why but we skipped several rooms completely and as for other rooms - the guide proceeded to the next one so fast we could't admire all pieces of art. There were 8 people in the group, if someone was bored and tired, it would have been better to let them leave but to offer those who interested to stay longer.

This museum is flying under the radar. Highly recommended if you love decorative arts. You'll enjoy a personal unrushed tour with wine tasting at the end. A great indoor activity on a poor weather day. Highly recommended.

Fantastic pieces of art-deco furniture and art. The tour guide was extremely kind and knowledgeable. The wine tasting is definitely a plus, but the exhibition is worth it by itself.

This museum gives only guided visits because the decorative art work is on display as if in a home, not separated from the public. It's a delightful way to appreciate it. And, the docent guided us from Arts&Crafts, Art Deco, Art Nouveaux and It's influence in later styles. The discussion included the various inspirations, artistic, technical, socio-economic, environmental, even ethnic. It ended with a small wine tasting. One of the best museum experiences I've had

Absolutely loved it, the collection is just amazing, a great mix of Portuguese and some international artists, the guide is really knowledgeable and you can tell they enjoy sharing it. The overall museum will delight your eyes and perhaps inspire you, to top it off you end the visit with a small wine testing . Highly recommended to book the tour in advance in their website.

This was my third time visiting B-mad. The collection is really nice. There are so many beautiful objects representing Art deco and Art nouveau style. Building itself is wonderful. Although I don't recommend to visit it with a guide Andrey. It was the most boring excursion of all. He gave so few information, replied questions with a minimum words, didn't tell the story of building. I fall in live with this museum with my first and second visit last year and stayed totally disappointed this time.

This museum looks small but it's not! They have tons of rooms with amazing pieces. They only work with guided tours so either call or email them asking for that (and trust me the tours aren't boring so if you think you don't like guided tours, give them a chance). And the wine tasting at the end of the tour is just the cherry on top of the cake. Whenever you see this blue building go inside and talk to the people there! You will love it.

Only available in conjunction with some kind of wine tasting, and as a prearranged group tour, which we didn't discover until we'd taken a taxi out there. The website vaguely alludes to guided tours, but doesn't make clear you can't just show up.

Absolutely excellent. I was lucky enough to get a private tour as no one else came along. The lovely tour-guide is incredibly knowledgeable and witty. Definitely one of the best experiences I've had in Lisbon. Highly recommended!

Amazing hidden gem! For 6€ you get a guided tour through a beautiful art deco collection and a wine tasting at the end. Just make sure to send them an email with at least 1 day before to book your time slot.

If you visit one museum while you're in Lisbon make it this one. I've been here a month and have been to over 10 and its the best one. Exquisite, top quality furniture, pictures and art work from the Art Deco period in a most stylish setting, an informative guide plus a wine tasting at the end! 90 minutes of amazement plus 2 glasses of wine at the end. I loved it!

I was really excited to visit. Only arrived to find out the only way to access the museum is by guided tour, and would have wait two more hours for the next tour. The lady at the ticket office was really rude and had a very nasty attitude. Had to leave without being able to see the collection.

What a great place! Wonderful collection, guided tours, wine tasting and all of this for a low price. I was absolutely impressed. Note that you need about 1:20 to do both tour and wine tasting.

Had a tour in English this morning that was excellent. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. Enjoyed the wine tasting afterwards. Would highly recommend a visit to this museum that has been opened less than 1 year ago.

We had an excellent (free) guided tour, our guide was very informative and spoke English. The museum has a huge collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, and after our tour we had (free) wine tasting on the terrace. Highly recommended.

Just WOW! I would give 10 stars if I could! The museum’s collection is spectacular and in pristine shape. If you love art nouveau / art déco, this place is made for you. Our guide was extra nice and funny, we could have listened to her for much longer. An absolute must see! Merci beaucoup !
