You won’t be disappointed here. We went for brunch twice. Both times were satisfying. My personal favourite was the avocado, poached egg and toast with salted caramel latte and the square croissant in raspberry was a win. I have a feeling a few years from now they may need to expand or find a second location. Best wishes

small cozy place with friendly services! the latte art was lovely. they have variety of coffee beans and few choices of food dishes but I enjoyed the waffles my friend & I ordered. I will be coming back to try other food.

One of the best brunch places in Lisbon. Small but cozy and tasty. Try Shakshuka and Duck Benedict. They treat coffee experience on very high level as every Ukrainian owner :) btw as a herb tea lover - thats the right place as well (finally!). hope to see more places like that!

Service can be a bit hectic as they get very busy with all tourists and expacts. But the service is fast enough if you are not in a rush. Quality is good, and so far the best matcha with actual taste of matcha in the area. Their coffee is also very good. 1 matcha 🍵 1 coffee ☕️ 1 cheese roll was over 10 euros

If you’re a coffee enthusiast, you‘ll really like this place :). We headed here for breakfast and were really impressed by how knowledgeable and passionate the barista is. I had ordered a v60 coffee on a whim and requested milk on the side from our waitress; a bit later the barista came out to explain why milk would take away from the flavors my specific roast has to offer, suggesting that I either try it black or opt for an americano if I’d like to mix in milk. Overall, the staff here was the most communicative I’ve experienced in Lisbon — and in English! I‘d definitely recommend trying this cafe out. If you’re unsure about what to order, the staff would be more than happy to answer your questions and ensure you have a good experience. The only critique I have is that the portions could’ve been bigger. But the quality of the food was great! We ordered the shakar-shuka, ricotta-avocado-toast, salted caramel latte, and the v60 coffee (columbian).

Really good coffee and tasty original dishes. The service was good and the staff really nice. It was a little bit crowded (Sunday 13hrs) so we did had to wait a bit to get a table. I totally recommend the waffle chicken and the salted caramel latte.

The chicken and waffles was delicious— chicken was cooked to perfection. The waffle was a little too dense for my taste, but the flavor made up for it. The flat white was legit and the croissant was excellent. Highly recommend!

Spent a week in Lisbon and shakar is the only place that I went to more than once. This place has fantastic service and have great food! I definitely recommend the duck eggs Benedict and the pulled beef salad 💯 the cold brew that they serve is also so refreshing and just perfect on a nice summer day in Lisbon. I’ll definitely go straight here when I return to Lisbon someday. This is the best brunch cafe in Lisbon for sure

Best shakshuka I’ve ever had! The eggs and cilantro avocado cream around it were perfect. We also really enjoyed the French toast, it had really fresh and delicious fruit. For coffee they have an amazing ethiopian blend. One of the best brunches ever!

We are so glad we found this place on our last day in Lisbon! The food was absolutely delicious, we had the breakfast tacos and eggs Benedict- to die for. Iced matcha and coffee was fantastic as well. It was also some of the friendliest service we’ve had in Lisbon. All around great vibes and food! We’ll be back next time.

Delicious food all around, so many interesting options! I had the chicken waffle and it was a delight. It was a lot of food, too! Hopefully you'll come when Clara is in. She's the absolute best! One hundred percent recommend this place.

This is my favourite spot in Lisbon, I go here every time I visit. The food and service is exceptional, the inside is so cute and clean, the menu is unique and delicious, and they really know coffee. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles and any of the brunch dishes.

We happened to stumble upon this hidden little gem on the way to another place for lunch, but decided to sit down here instead. What a great choice! They’ve got an absolutely amazing and wonderfully original menu with great flavors and we actually had trouble deciding what we were going to have. So many original combos of waffles, buns, brioches, (poached) eggs, granolas and pastries… In the end we settled upon the salted caramel lattes (which ruled) and for food the fried chicken bun and the peking duck eggs benedict. So good!! In addition to the awesome food and drinks the general vibe and style were great and the staff were super chill and seemed genuinely happy serving us. All around great find, we left 100% satisfied and will be coming back to explore the rest of the menu on brunches to come :)

The brunch is delicious! But the coffee is a little light for me. Btw the price of brunch + coffee is around 10-13€ each person

small, cute coffee/brunch restaurant. the food was very good and the price-performance ratio was good. unfortunately, the wait for the food was quite long (about 30 minutes), but it was also very busy - so okei.

Food was super delicious, I would highly suggest trying the chicken waffle! Staff were nice too and service was quick. However I would say they are on the pricy side compared to other Brunch/ Lunch places we have been to in Lisbon.

Amazing breakfast. Coffee delicious, açai bowl awesome. Turkish eggs were heaven. Will come back for sure. The staff was also super nice and kind.

A lovely little brunch spot on a quiet street. We sat outside and enjoyed some really delicious food and drink. The duck eggs Benedict was excellent, very rich! The carrot cake also should get a mention. The service was great, really lovely and friendly staff.

Very sweet spot with possibility of sitting outside. We had a very tasty and well presented breakfast/brunch and tried some brew coffee with local roasted speciality coffee beans. Also very friendly service

A must go to if you’re in Lisbon. Went with friends for brunch and were made to feel very welcome on both occasions (they even remembered us second time round). The food is exceptional in variety, quality, taste and presentation. The coffee is arguably the best I’ve had!

The Peking duck Benedict and organic matcha latte were great. When ordering hot drinks, please note that the cups here do not have handles, so be careful not to get burned.

A must visit spot for brunch in Lisbon away from the crowded city center. Plenty of food and coffee options on the menu. The duck eggs Benedict was one of the best things I ate during my entire trip. The avocado toast was also fantastic and the salted caramel latte is to die for. The staff is very friendly and both the interior and patio are cozy and comfortable. Will definitely be back.

Excellent breakfast. Nice selection of high end teas and coffees. Also good gluten-free choices. Very friendly and attentive service. cozy inside and sweet little patio outside on a pretty street.

Came for breakfast and we weren’t disappointed. All the items we ordered were really good. You can the ingredients used are quite fresh. I would definitely go back to try more things like the eggs Benedict dishes and other pastries. The name of the restaurant actually drew me in since it means sugar in my mother tongue.

Came here on a Saturday around noon (12pm) and had to wait for a table for roughly 40min. Totally worth it though. The dishes are exceptionally well done, including quality, timing and presentation. The best breakfast place I found in Lisbon so far. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get spoiled with deliciousness. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Brilliant specialty coffee and brunch spot! Carrot cake to die for, hands down the best one I have ever had. Amazing coffee, super friendly personnel, serving water with the coffee (which is unusual in Lisbon, from my experience), and allow to bring the laptop and get some work done. Definitely a gem in Lisbon ☕️🍰

Delicious breakfast and coffee! A highlight of our trip to Lisbon. We ended up going back a second time we were so impressed. The Turkish eggs and eggs Benedict were particularly amazing.

Good brunch spot with many options to choose from! Great variety of eggs benedict, but as shared with the staff, brioche bread could have been fresher and dish description should include sesame seeds on the ingredients. Also had the chance to have a bite from the potato waffle and it was very tasty! Service was doing efforts and being friendly.

This place made me start liking brunch. I usually absolutely despise brunch (so i never review brunch places, I'm forced to go to them 😂) because its always the same, but here it's different! Proper meal-like fusion food. Excellent presentation! Crispy chicken waffle needs more sauce, wait for food is quite long, and ribs very dry, however, with a few tweaks, the potwntial deserves 5 stars. All-in-all very tasty and will be back.

We came here because of all the good reviews, but it turned out to be a bit disappointed. Drinks is alright. Shakshouka is...mediocre (if I phrase it in a polite way?) The door was always open so when people smoke outdoor you can have free secondhand smoke. You can't start your day freshly if it's smoky everywhere, I guess? I'm sorry to say that but the people at the next table stink. We can't stand even longer after they arrived, so we decided to pay the bill immediately. The service is friendly tho. He asked us if everything is alright. I said it's good, but I mean only the service is good. 😔
