Best cocktails in Lisbon! It is a small place but boy oh boy, the menu is exciting and cocktails are crafted to perfection. Highly recommend and would definitely be going back next time we are in Lisbon.

The best cocktail bar I have ever been to without doubt. We returned the following day to have the same two cocktails (Smokey Margarita and the Bazaar). We also tried the Milk Punch which was recommended by the owner Joanna as her favourite. The cocktails had a perfect blend of aromas and flavours, I could not recommend this beautiful space enough. The owners were so welcoming and friendly and even shared their recipe for the Bazaar for us. Additionally, Joanna booked us a table at a Seafood restaurant (Taverna de Mar) where we enjoyed a beautiful tasting menu, which was the best dining experience we had in Lisbon.

Schöne kleine Cocktail Bar. Freundlicher Service und gute Cocktails. Ist sehr klein, deshalb ist eine Reservierung zu empfehlen. Auch draußen gibt es ein paar wenige Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Pretty average cocktail bar. Nothing outstanding, nothing awful. I have no idea how this place won Lisbon Bar of the Year. Now, Onda is obviously trying to do the craft cocktail thing. That's cool. Imo, this is not amongst the top ones in the city and seems to be popular due to Time Out? I don't know, to be honest, because it's okay, but not 5-star good. Not particularly creative or skilled. It is a standard cocktail bar. Probably more targeted to the newbie cocktail drinker, rather than those seasoned spirit drinkers. The first drinks we ordered were good enough. I'm a fan of strong, spirit forward drinks, especially if they're challenging or complex with deep flavours. Guadalajara (mezcal version) seemed to fit that. It was pretty one note, however. It was basically a coupe of sweetened mezcal, which generally, as a mezcal lover I don't have issue with its strong flavour, but as a cocktail, it seemed unbalanced. It was too strong for a cocktail, and I'm saying this as someone who enjoys sipping mezcal straight and spent many nights doing so in Mexico and the 2(!) liqueurs made it lean hard to the sweet end. Allegedly, it was Casamigos which is overrated, imo and it was very expensive at €18. For that price, I want to be wowed. Not "meh". The other one was something with keffir lime leaves. It was okay for me, but my partner isn't a fan of sweet. She likes tropical/south east Asian flavours and thought it would be a good choice and when looking through the menu, was one of the only ones that didn't seem too, too sweet. The flavours were good but I can't even recall the spirit which says it all, tbh. Couldn't taste it. Nice juice. Next round, she asked the server to recommend something for someone who doesn't like sweet drinks, and she suggested the smokey marg. We asked for less agave/triple sec than usual (aka "skinny"). What came was a pretty standard tasting marg. If that was less sweet, I'd hate to try the regular version! I mean, it was a good margarita, but again, it was nothing special. Just had a smokey gimmick in its presentation. Salt rim was sloppy. It was too sweet for her again, almost as if the bartender didn't listen or chose to ignore the request. She asked once more for a rec, and the server suggested a long drink that was also sweet and juicy. I'm not convinced there is very much liquor in these cocktails. And I don't think the server understands what "sweetness" is. By the end, the server seemed impatient and annoyed at us, although we were polite and still in good spirits. Note: this is NOT a "bespoke cocktail bar" like they claim. Bespoke means you can make anything to someone's personal tastes, and come up with great, unique cocktails on the fly. The barman here couldn't even seem to adjust an existing menu cocktail to make it less sweet, let alone a totally bespoke creation. The cocktails here seem premixed and basic with an extremely heavy reliance on syrups/liqueurs and juice. To me personally, it's a sign of a novice mixologist/bar program. Garnish game is weak and needs a lot of work. Which is all fine! Lots of people love that, but I would have liked to know to adjust my expectations. It is a cocktail bar for the new cocktail drinker who is easily impressed, loves sweet things, and doesn't want complexity or to taste the liquor.

What an amazing cocktail place!! The service is incredible, we didn't like one of the drinks and even before we finished the sentence it was taken from us and straight away offered a different (unlike other places in Portugal). The cocktails we had were unique, tasty and one of a kind. I definitely recommend this place for cocktails lovers!

Absolute 10/10 experience! The cocktails here were delicious, unique, and beautifully crafted. Every ingredient is made from scratch and you can truly taste the difference. We are big craft cocktail fans & these definitely topped our list! Favorites = Bazaar & Milk Punch. The staff here were also so friendly and wonderful. We had a fantastic time, and I only wish I wasn’t just visiting so I could be a regular!

I’ve searched the world for the perfect cocktail. I never thought it would be in Lisbon. The attention to detail goes all the way down to the ice machine that is specially designed to give the perfect balance of air and water so that you can enjoy the cocktail. If you want cocktails in Europe there is only one place - Onda.

This place is such a gem. Incredible, inventive cocktails, and a relaxed environment with an exclusive feel. If you need a break from Portuguese wine, this is a welcome treat. The owners are kind, effervescent people and I would highly recommend anyone looking for something unique and an affinity for fine libations to check this place out while in Lisbon.

Onda has a very nice atmosphere and very good cocktails! We had Nikkei Milk Punch, Tommy’s Smokey Margarita, El Caribeño & Filthy Negroni. My favourite was the milk punch, but overall, they’re all amazing. I could've tried out the whole menu if I was living in Lisbon! The cocktail prices are between 8-13€

As all the reviews have said the cocktails are very unique and extremely tasteful. We tried many of the drinks on this menu late at night and they did not disappoint. They do create new ones all the time so make sure you ask for what's unique and new.

We just wanted to head out for one cocktail to end up our night, we stayed for three each in the end, because they just blew us away. We were hosted by Peter and Joana in a great fashion. They explained every little detail about their cocktails, which are just packed with innovative flavour combinations. My favourites were the Ta Krai Mao, since I am a lot into Thai flavours and El Caribeno with their peanut-infused whiskey. My girlfriend loved the Virgin Fruit. As a summary: Go there, you will probably have some of the best cocktails of your life.

Phenomenal service, phenomenal drinks. A true gem hidden away in an unassuming side street, and yet some of the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere

Exceptional drinks with outstanding flavours….such an experience .The customer service is second to none, the knowledge of the staff is amazing and your tastebuds are in for a treat. It’s your must have stop in Lisbon. If only every European city had an Onda the world would be a better place!

My wife and I visited Onda while visiting Lisbon. This was the highlight of our entire trip. I loved the Nikkei Milk Punch - the single best cocktail I've ever had. Such a complex journey of flavors - from citrus to vanilla to cereal to chocolate and back. My mind was blown with each sip. My wife loved the Amoxicillin - all the best parts of a whiskey sour concentrated. Cannot recommend visiting enough.

Amazing bar. Our drinks were innovative & incredible. Loved the mezcal one w/red pepper & rhubarb. Great bartenders & awesome playlist. Would 100% return if we find ourselves in Portugal again.

A difficult climb to get to this place from Martim Moniz, but the Asian inspired drinks and mixology atmosphere made the effort worthwhile. The Tom yam drink was amazing, but we loved the kimchi-based Old Fashioned and the surprising clarified milk punch. If I had to nitpick, it was that the ice (which is so important in craft cocktails) was cloudy and it didn't seem like the glasses were pre-frozen when served. And the spiced nuts weren't very good, we prefer a more neutral tasting bar snack. Highly recommended.

Very unique and well thought out cocktails, lovely staff - a little out of the way but very much a place I would go back to when people come to visit. A must do if you want to try something a bit different. A few snacks available which were also very tasty!

Hospitality at it’s best! I didn’t play it safe and tried milk punch that was “ka boom” but what surprised me even more was warm welcome from the people there. Thank you for making my day better and see you tomorrow again.

Beautiful ambiance, wonderful hosts, the artistry in the cocktails rivals that of the global cocktail movement. Co-owned by a woman and lovely people investing in the cultural experience of Lisbon. Worth a wondrous walk through town if you are not staying near!

Peter&Joana… The love they have for each other and for their business definitely shows in their cocktails and atmosphere. Should definitely try “Beet Box” & “Green Gardens”. I would highly recommend this place! You wont be disappointed 🤘🏻

Hands down coolest cocktail lounge in Lisbon…came across it by coincidence, but the entire experience was amazing from the drinks to the food. The smoked margarita was delicious and wifey says the guac was “bangin”.

Delicious cocktails and good little nibbles to go with them! Will be back next time I’m in town for sure. Attentive and friendly service, comfortable seating in a little, intimate space that is cozy and warm in winter, fresh and cool in summer. If you need a good cocktail with ambience bossa, jazz chilled music, this is your place.

We were recommended to pop by this amazing Cocktail Room during our city break in Lisbon and it was fabulous. Peter the owner gave us great tips on how to enjoy the city, we loved it so much we booked the following evening for pre dinner drinks which were delicious. You can sense the effort that they put into their Artisan Cocktails in every sip, As a drinks industry professional, I was blown away by the taste, delivery and contagious passion that Peter has put into designer cocktails. Make sure you put this on Your gourmet list while visiting Lisbon, Seriously delicious cocktails made by very nice people.

My boyfriend came here on a trip last January and could not stop talking about it, eventually talked me into going back to Lisbon for our 5 year anniversary (not a hard sell, its culturally rich and gorgeous) just to come back to Onda. The location, the menu, the staff and the ambience far exceeded my already high expectations. We chatted with two seperate strangers for hours while sipping on the most divine cocktails I have ever, and probably will ever drink. If you’re in Lisbon, Portugal, Europe, or just on the planet and have the means, go to this cocktail bar. You will not regret it. Everything is absolutely phenomenal but these were our standouts from the menu: Nikkei Milk Punch Beetbox Old Boy
