Staff do not speak english, have no clue about anything, dining outside (while there is a huge terrace) seems to require unbearable effort for them...

Absolutely delightful Christmas Day Brunch. Attention to detail, delicious and well-presented food, very friendly waiters and very nice views. I have to say I had understood, from Google Maps and from The Fork, that the restaurant would be at the top of the tower, and this is not true. The one at the top of the tower is the Michelin Star restaurant whose Chef is Martin Berasategui. But in spite of this the view from the bottom of the tower is stunning.

During my recent visit to Lisbon, I had the pleasure of dining at the River Lounge in the Myriad Hotel. My taste buds were taken on a delightful journey by the restaurant's superb offerings, but the stars of my meal were undoubtedly the octopus and oysters. Starting with the octopus, it was cooked to absolute perfection, a marvel in texture and flavor. The tender, succulent flesh, combined with a slightly smoky char on the outside, was an unforgettable treat. Every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and the freshness of the ingredients used. Coupled with a delightful sauce that enhanced the dish without overshadowing the octopus's flavor, it was an absolute standout. The oysters, on the other hand, were a beautiful homage to the sea. Served on a bed of crushed ice with just the right amount of lemon to accent their briny freshness, these delicacies were a joy to savor. Each oyster was a taste of the ocean, fresh, briny, and utterly delicious. They were meticulously shucked, ensuring a clean taste and presentation. The setting of the River Lounge, with its splendid view of the Tagus River, made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Combined with the impeccable service I received from the attentive staff, my meal at the River Lounge was one I won't soon forget. For anyone visiting Lisbon, a meal at the River Lounge in the Myriad Hotel is a must, especially for seafood lovers. The octopus and oysters are worth the trip alone, and I am already looking forward to my next opportunity to enjoy these remarkable dishes. Five stars from me!

Erlebnis Barbesuch: „Wollen Sie an der Bar oder in der Lobby sitzen?“ - „in der Lobby“ - „hier ist die Karte“ (eine Plastikkarte mit einem Barcode, was machen Besucher ohne Smartphone?) - andächtig die Karte mit teilweise absurd teuren Cocktails studiert, ein Aperol Spritz für 17 EUR (!!) - egal, das Hotel ist ohnehin teuer genug… - 30 Minuten später sitze ich immer noch da. Es kamen zwar oft Kellner/Angestellte an mir vorbei, aber eine Bestellung aufnehmen wollte keiner von ihnen… na dann, ich gehe jetzt wieder…

Leckeres Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Da wir im Myriad Stammgäste sind essen wir auch öfter in der River Lounge. Das ist Sterne Küche. Schön angerichtet und sehr geschmackvoll. Es passt alles !!!!!!

I don't understand any of the negative reviews. Service was some of the best I've had. The view is incredible. We were very happy with our meals- excellent food. Live music was very pleasant. We also had breakfast here which was amazing in terms of quality and selection.

Rude service from the receptionist guy, unprofessional, impatient, arrogant attitude. Food is OK, not worth the money you pay, regardless of the nice food presentation. In general, not a kid friendly restaurant.

Amazing restaurant, with very friendly staff. The sushi is one of the bests in Lisbon, I highly recommend. The dishes presentation are creative and attractive.

The restaurant is worth it by the scenic setting and the quality of the food. Better during the day, when you can enjoy the river view. The outdoors lounge in the summer must be quite spectacular. The menu is relatively limited but every thing we tried was beautifully prepared. Kudos to the chef! However, we did not enjoy the service, which was not particularly attentive or welcoming. The waiters give of a submissive vibe that does not suit the place. Worst part: the wines are horribly overpriced, beyond anything we have ever seen. It was also particularly annoying to have to make three requests until we could finally get our pick because in spite of a digital menu, our two first choices were out of stock and the waiters didn’t even know it. Finally, although the interior design is nice, the chairs are not particularly comfortable. Overall, for ~170€ for a party of two (with one of the least expensive wines in the menu), we were expecting a bit more.

Everything is amazing💗💗💗. The dessert has the perfect combination of sour and sweet. The drink is also really fresh and perfect for a hot day. The only problem is the waiting time is a little bit too long, but the rest is perfect. 5 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Terrible service. We are waoting more than 30 minutes to get our cakes 😞 no waiter was out for a last 10 minutes. The view is nice, but not enough.

It’s worth visiting to get the city glimpse from this lovely sky bar n restaurant Unfortunately it was closed due to renovation as informed by the security girl but no information updated on google ….

Unequivocally the most enjoyable place we have ever been to. The Cafe is uniquely set upon water overlooking the gorgeous view of sea and sky. Time is a long forgotten concept when you set foot here. The ambience, the delectable meals and top quality drinks all surpass expectations. What makes this Cafe experience incredible rests however, on the amazing staff. Pedro and Harley are creme de la creme artisans in the world of hospitality. Its a rare feat for anyone to make a guest feel both special and at home. Pedro and Harley achieve the elusive blend of professionalism and long lost buddy with ease and with a welcoming smile. Any organisation would do a backflip to work with 2 amazing people. Love this place! The image of Portugal in my mind and heart will be this experience.
