It
certainly
must
have
been
a
great
clinic
before
the
pandemic,
and
the
doctor
we
had
an
appointment
with
was
really
good.
But:
the
contact
message
had
asked
the
doctor
to
wear
a
mask
during
the
appointment,
the
confirmation
message
made
it
clear
that
it
was
mandatory
to
wear
a
mask
(see
photo),
but
no
one
was
wearing
a
mask
(only
one
receptionist
put
it
on,
after
seeing
that
I
Yes,
I
was
wearing
a
mask
-
but
this
is
worth
more
as
a
gesture
than
as
an
effective
sanitary
measure,
because
if
I
hadn't
been
wearing
one
until
then,
it
made
little
difference
that
she
put
it
on
when
I
arrived).
On
top
of
that,
no
care
was
taken
to
ventilate
the
place
(and
a
tiny
office
with
no
window
or
other
type
of
ventilation).
I
was
extremely
embarrassed,
I
felt
really
bad.
Afterwards,
I
wanted
to
be
quick
to
leave,
but
I
was
in
shock.
Today,
one
person
dies
every
4
minutes
from
Covid-19
in
the
world,
children
too.
The
disease
leads
to
serious
consequences
in
the
medium
and
long
term
(1
in
10
infections,
according
to
the
WHO),
also
in
healthy
children
(and
less
healthy
children
have
an
equal
right
to
life,
right?).
Children
under
5
years
of
age
don't
even
have
vaccines
in
Europe.
Now
tell
me
what's
more
important:
protecting
kids
from
Covid
or
showing
smiles?
Not
to
mention
that
the
smile
can
be
seen
through
the
eyes
and
can
even
be
heard
through
the
voice,
the
mask
would
not
interfere
at
all
-
in
fact,
it
would
be
visible
proof
that
the
clinic
staff
care
about
the
health
of
their
little
patients,
who
go
there
to
stay
well
,
not
to
catch
a
virus
that
is
in
the
air
and
that
is
classified
as
biosafety
level
BSL-3
(and
then
transmit
it
to
their
grandparents...).
In
the
fourth
year
of
the
covid
pandemic
(which
is
not
over,
also
according
to
the
WHO,
and
look
here
https://expresso.pt/sociedade/saude/2023-05-24-Caos-nas-Urgencias-de-Almada-
e-Setubal-por-lack-of-stretches-8ff96aa8),
I
would
not
expect
such
disregard.
