We recently attended a wedding at the Cliff House. The weather was unfortunately rainy and cold, but the grounds are still gorgeous. The interior is welcoming for whatever type of weekend getaway you want to experience. One small piece to watch out for if you attend a wedding here. The rooms are not equipped with any reasonable place to hang a dress/gown. There is a rod but underneath is an immovable chest, which means it'll have to be folded in some fashion. This is odd given the venue's popularity as a wedding venue. There is no other place to hang any clothing that's longer than a suit jacket.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend stay at the Cliff House. We had an updated one bedroom oceanfront corner suite with the most amazing views from every window. The long balcony was beautifully furnished, though it was quite chilly in November so we did not get much use of it. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The service was top notch and everyone was over the top friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning!

Great property and cannot beat the location. Hotel is ideal for a family with small children as there are lots of areas designated for them. They even have a movie theater as well as art studio to keep the kids busy. The breakfast at the main restaurant is better than the dinner option but this is Maine and if you are coming from NY, CT or MA your expectation for fine dining should be toned down about considering. The takeout lobster bar next to the pool was better than most of the lobster shacks in the area but it is quick serve if you don't mind. Other than that, this is perfect for a 3-4 day get-away.

Our overall experience was good. Aside from the fact that when we decided to have breakfast, we waited 15 minutes before we got a table and then another 18 minutes to have someone even pour coffee or water and then finally another 16 minutes before someone asked us what we wanted to eat so we decided to pass on breakfast. We mentioned this poor experience in service to the on duty manager, and he assured us we would have a free breakfast which we never received the next day as no one had any recollection or record of it, it’s sad to say that this experience and hotel was pretty good, Aside from the restaurant service thing.

wish we were able to always afford a stay here at the cliff house. rooms facing the ocean are a must - the view is incredible and you can't beat the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. the sunrises are gorgeous. spa was lovely, service was excellent.

Had lunch here over looking the rugged coast cliffs and rocks. Beautiful. Lunch was pretty decent. I enjoyed it all... but they honestly need to pit their olives! Drinks were great.

As a videographer, this location is great for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The views overlooking the ocean are peaceful and relaxing. The sunset views are breathtaking. I've filmed several weddings here and always seem to capture more and interesting details.

Amazing experience overall. The restaurant food was 'eh' for the price, but the spa was good, the outside hot tub was excellent and our room was wonderful. Coastal views from everywhere. We'll definitely be back in the off season. The robes were so comfortable i bought one for the house! We strolled the grounds in our robes and slippers, so much to explore. Pricey as all hell though.

The location is incredible, couldn’t get into the tiller restaurant door dinner which was annoying. Cliffs are really cool, room had some peeling paint in the shower ceiling which I wouldn’t expect in a ocean front premium room. Tiller for breakfast was great, ate at nubs was ok. Gym was underwhelming. Pool and hot tub was nice, they have a separate one for kids.

Went for our mini moon and had such a wonderful time. Had booked two nights but upon arrival decided we wanted to stay a third night and they happily accommodated us. Our room and view was stunning, our spa experience was so relaxing and the entire staff was so genuinely kind and helpful. They made sure our stay was perfect. from the bartenders to the spa staff to the front desk everyone was so lovely. Shout out to Justin at concierge!! We were also given wonderful dining recommendations and Justin recommended a sunset sail with captain Scott which did not disappoint!!!! Thank you again for making our stay so special.

We stayed here for four nights in mid September 2023. It was such a wonderful experience that we already booked a room for next summer. This is an upscale resort where the staff are very friendly and definitely aim to please. We arrived before our room was ready, but our luggage was unloaded, our car was valet parked, and we went to lunch. When we finished lunch and went to the room our luggage was there waiting for us. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. There are amazing views from all over the resort. Guest Services were extremely helpful both before and during our stay. They made reservations for us at The Tiller Restaurant, and answered numerous questions during our stay. Absolutely one of the most proactive and helpful Guest Services that we have encountered. We stayed in one of the Sunrise Suites in the Ledges building. It's a quiet location, but literally less than a five minute walk from the main building and dining area. The room was very nice. The gym is modern and has great ocean views. We didn't use the spa, but it looked just as upscale as the salon we use at home. This is not an inexpensive resort, but you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend for an upscale resort experience.

Beautiful location! The view from the Cliff House is unbeatable. The entire property is stunning, with fantastic, panoramic views. The food at their restaurant is delicious. We always enjoy their brunch and cocktails. Whenever we visit, we walk by the Spa, and have never gone, but would love to visit and treat ourselves to a beautiful, relaxing spa day. Can't wait to visit again!

Stayed for 3 nights earlier this week. Beautiful property. Only downsides were no valet parking which is surprising when you pay close to 1k per night. Also the spa needed some attending to ( hair in the shower drains, stains on the carpet etc) One day our room was not made up but when we called, they took care of it quickly. Overall would recommend as a great hotel but if they fixed a few small issues, it would be amazing.

This is a bit delayed, but we had a wonderful stay for an anniversary trip this June. Service was excellent all around. Room was very nice, and we enjoyed having water and other items immediately outside our room in the hall. Food and drinks in the restaurant were very good. Would highly recommend.

The hotel itself and the views from the property are gorgeous. The staff was very nice and attentive. The room was disappointing. I booked by phone wanting an ocean view, which technically I got, but the room was on the ground level, so not much of a view considering the price and being a whole point booking it. I was not a fan of the breakfast, but really enjoyed our dinner at the Terrace.
