Absolutely amazing! Good for both kids and adults to visit. The level of detail required to create these structures must have taken countless hours. You can take all the time you need here to admire the intricacies. After you gain entry, head up to the top floor and start your journey! You'll be able to experience both day and night scenes which will be simulated periodically. More cities are in development so definitely visit again next time.

This place is truly a marvel, even if you're not a model making fan. All the models are crafted with exceptional detail and they're full of buttons for the whole visiting experience to turn from passive to interactive at will. On the other side, the place feels very touristy, with souvenir shops packed with unrelated stuff, and a "restaurant" too. Too much people can ruin your experience, and a Saturday evening would not be the perfect day to be there.

I definitely recommend you book your tickets at the same time as your trip to Hamburg. This place is very popular! We didn't do that so we had to take tickets for an earlier start. Totally worth it! It's fantastic and super well done. The attention to detail is second to none and there are many different countries and subjects covered. Of course, there are plenty of people and lots of children and with them being so enthusiastic, there is noise and running/bumping into others. We stayed 2h30 and didn't see the time pass. Definitely recommend this attraction!

It was well-done displays that everyone could enjoy. So realistic figures and actions that I spend hours in this place. There are also restaurants where you can take a break and rest your feet before getting back to the exhibit. Highly recommended.

We went here as a family and had a very enjoyable time. I recommend you schedule a whole day here. We spent 5 hours here. There are plenty of different countries on view including Germany,Italy, America and Switzerland. If you look closely there are many hidden jokes like the millennium falcon at the airport and Batman and Robin scaling one of the buildings. We also did the virtual reality part of the tour which was amazing. You can also have a 3D picture taken which you can have as a plastic figure. Loved it.

Fabulous place to visit! Image a warehouse FULL of train sets, over multiple floors and now add cars, trucks, planes, not only trains. Amazing! There’s a “night time” every 15 minutes or so where all the lights go down it looks stunning. The level of detail here is unreal, so many hours have gone into creating this. The gift shop is also very good, which is a nice change from most tourist attractions.

Miniatur Wunderland is the largest model village / world / railway in the world, and it shows. The first time I visited here, I spent over six hours admiring this astonishing feat of human engineering. The whole piece is set over many different areas, in two original warehouses on Hamburg's waterfront. Areas are representative of different countries or themes, and all are fantastic. One of the best is the airport, where planes take off, land, taxi, and park up at the terminal. And then the passenger stairs move into place! Periodically, the lights in the building will dim, and you get to see the whole thing at night, with thousands of mini lights giving everything a sultry look. There is an excellent restaurant, and a gift shop. Facilities are plentiful and easy to find. There are also secure lockers where you can easily store jackets and bags. Miniatur Wunderland is well worth the admission fee and highly recommended. It is an absolute must do in Hamburg.

I honestly don't know where to start. Firstly, this place is incredible. The attention to detail on all the different scenes completely blew my mind. Somehow, there is always a perfect balance of it being busy, yet being able to get up close to the front and view the action. No where in the UK comes close, and unfortunately, this is putting younger members off the hobby of Model railway. I love that you can view the control room and in some places, the hidden loops that occur behind the scenics. The only issue I'd that I don't live close enough to visit regularly. It's super child friendly with lots of buttons to press a must visit attraction in Hamburg. Highly recommended 👌

Definitely get tickets in advance! Saturday evening was not too busy, but give yourself at least 2 hours for exploring. The experience can be a bit overwhelming but it's great fun!

One of my favorite places on earth! It's so fun to walk through the whole museum looking at all the different worlds they've built. There is seemingly endless amounts of surprises to discover. I've been twice and both times were really enjoyable.

Absolutely astonishing, there’s a million adjectives I could say about this place and I can’t seem to find a word for this masterpiece. The first sections were gorgeous the rooms are air-conditioned and that but also the details of every single man in the huge miniature model of Hamburg,Switzerland,Austria and the alps is living. I can visually guess that about 89 percent of all models is movable. Every aspect of the model including underground and above in the sky is shown in full detail. The posters for example are always made in local languages going with the theme. The most outstanding part for me was the airport (since I am a huge avgeek myself) the details as I can see is stringent to a almost horrible level. The airplanes are just so lively as if they were real. Almost every model plane can taxi by itself and a lot of them can even takeoff and land by them self even with features such as gear-tilt included. There’s also the airbus beluga, Junker 52, Boeing 777-300 ER etc. I would say that the this place is really really really worth your visit because you can feel the heart of the builders, you can feel that they build for the fun, not for the money! Please, if you every happened to read this. Go to Hamburg and visit this place. Bucket-list worthy!

Wonderful entertainment place in Hamburg, a visit definitely should take more than 4 to 5 hours to see everything without a rush. Little hustle and bustle, a look behind the scenes, leisure for the details from German wonderful facility. Huge model worlds and everything is connected and in motion. There are so many beautiful details to discover and look at. Plant built with love. We spent the whole day here and certainly didn't see everything. You can eat and drink in the restaurant 😋 Friendly staff ⚕️. Tickets should be bought beforehand, the waiting queue for visitors without online tickets

Such an extraordinary experience! I'm amazed 👏🏻. Every detail, every city, everything is just perfect. I was not expecting so much from this place and was absolutely positively surprised. Great job! Honestly, I think adults enjoy more than kids, as we can appreciate more the details... but it is a nice place for all ages. It is a must in Hamburg for sure! Better to buy the tickets in advance.

Incredible place with extremely detailed models. The are some awesome experiences there too, like shrink into wonderland were you where a VR headset and you can pretend your in the models. There is a cafeteria with decent food especially for a museum. The gift shop is quite nice and reasonably priced. I would recommend buying tickets in advance as buying at the museum can take awhile, it is conveniently located in the center of Hamburg. The airport and trains are just beautiful, if you took a zoomed in picture someone would have no idea it was a model. Even the hall between sections has some lovely miniature landscapes, and a great view.

Nice spot. It took us around 2 hours to see the whole thing. The cost is 20 euro per person, which is interesting to see but, in my opinion, not a must. We went on Sunday, and it was packed it was hard to get near to the expositions to look closely

Amazing place to see, brings back the inner child in you. Great place for families to visit. Some might get bored as others stare at the exhibit for extended periods of time. Recommended for all ages. Plenty of seating to wait on anyone looking at the exhibit. Expect to spend at least 2-3 hours if you want to really look at everything. I hope this helps with your fun filled day.

(Translated by Google) Extraordinary train models that recreate various cities and landscapes of the world. Several emblematic sites of Hamburg are also recreated, such as the port, the central station or the Elbe Philharmonic. The models are more beautiful with infinite details. In all of them there are endless trains running. The recreation of the airport is impressive. It has very long hours. We got the tickets online and did not have to wait to enter. Inside there is a shop, restaurant-cafeteria, WC and free lockers to store bags, backpacks, coats, etc.

As kid you're mesmerised by the many landscapes and sheer imagination. As adult you marvel at the detail in the works and the many hours spent on the models. A lot of them are interactive and will provide a few hours of entertainment. The best thing is that the chocolate factory gives out actual chocolate!

I wasn’t a fan of miniature items or art, but decided to visit anyway due to the raving reviews. I must say that I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, I love it! It fascinated me more than I can imagine. I love the “Easter eggs” they planted here and there. We found a Superman, a hidden dragon eye (when you peep through a hole) etc. The interactive portion also made the whole experience very fun. What annoyed me, though, was the number of people they permitted and the lack of crowd control. There’s little to no social distancing. Some weren’t wearing masks despite the announcement; many not following the signages; some would cut in whenever and some would hog certain areas for more than 10 minutes, causing us to miss out certain attraction. Definitely worth the visit, but would recommend visiting at the least popular timing for a more enjoyable experience.

Fantastic mini land! The level of detail and small surprises everywhere is astounding! You could definitely spend a whole day and just discover new things. You can even have a look at their workshop where they paint and assemble everything. Be sure to buy tickets and book well in advance because it's a hot spot in Hamburg with many visitors. Well worth a visit.

Although it was very crowded, I enjoyed every moment of the museum. I was so in awe of how realistic the displays were. My favorite displays were the USA, the airport, and Rio (I believe it was). The gift shop has a nice selection of items as well. I loved it. Would definitely go back. Visited 08/30/23

Cost 20.50 for an adult ticket. A great place to spend a couple of hours. Be amazed by the displays. There is a simulation of day and night views of all the displays. The airport seems to be the most popular. I had a wonderful visit. There is a canteen within the museum. So one can rest and have a bite before continuing.

Look out for Greta! This place is amazing. It keeps evolving so I go at least twice every year if I can. There's always something new to find and they have little "treasure hunts" which is entertaining for both kids and adults. Hamburg's most attractive attraction.

(Translated by Google) Always an experience. It was the fifth time I was in the Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg and it will certainly not be my last visit. I booked a backstage tour so I was able to get an idea of the other side. That was a great experience and you could look a bit behind the scenes. The admission price is completely within limits. You always have to consider what kind of work is behind it and what it costs to maintain it as a whole. So two thumbs up!

I had high expectations. Thought the models would be larger. They are h0 scale, so 1:87 The models and figures are mind blowing. The detailed models of structures and landscapes around the world are magnificent. By gazing at the tremendous level of detail one gets a true sense of the scale of human activity on earth. The scale and vastness of our environmental impact. One could spend all day there. Amazzzing. Will definitely go back.

This is a very unique exhibit. I recommend it for anyone with children, although its quite entertaining even for adults. Its less crowded during the week. Try to go earlier to avoid waiting in line, or buy tickets in advance. The exhibit is definitely rare, and one of a kind. It was nice to see something different for once. Usually takes a little over an hour to tour the whole exhibit.

Such an AMAZING place! They even had a control center. Was so mesmerized by the amount of detail they put in all the cities. The airport with all the planes taking off and everything else happening there made it feel like it was connected to a real airport. The historic dioramas were really interesting too - being able to see how things changed over time. Definitely had a great time here and will be back again next time.

This place is definitely what you make of if: it's not huge, but it's full of cool details. So you can either go fast and be done in an hour or go slow and spend hours here. Either way, make sure you go in with the right expectations so you don't see it as "too short" or "too long" 😅 Cause it's definitely cool 😎

Take your time and enjoy! My advice is don’t move too fast just wait and go slow, push all the buttons to see the demonstrations. Lovely place, worth every euro spent. If you can do a reading about the cities or places you see that will even make it better.

We started exploring at 8 a.m., and we were there until after 5 p.m! It's a totally different experience compared to anything else, and if you have a passion for details and digging into them, you're gonna love it! Suggestions for the best experience: 1. Charged Phones 2. Bottle of Water 3. Eat good breakfast, so you're full for the day 4. Wear comfortable shoes 5. Bring some nuts with you so you don't have to waste for lunch 6. Take your glasses if you have trouble seeing tint things in distance :) 7. Patience and passion ❤️

It is certainly an interesting place to visit but I was not impressed given the hype, the price of the ticket and the late evening hour I could visit because of high demand. As a general comment, it would be better if the boards with the miniatures were placed at a lower level with respect to the ground so that one can have a better overall view of the structures. The most fascinating exhibit i thought it was the airport with the facility for the planes to take off and land. As for the trains, they are fun but not something unique or uncommon.

  • 5/5 Yin C. 3 years ago on Google
Very cool!! Lots of details in the exhibits and a lot of hidden gems. The interactive buttons are hit or miss (one gives you chocolate!) but many exhibits have different scenery for 'daytime' vs 'nighttime' so it's worth looking out for that.

  • 5/5 Hannah G. 3 years ago on Google
Lovely place to go regardless of whether you have a passion for miniature train sets or anything related. The detail in each of the showcases is amazing, and there was buttons that connect to different parts of the display that you can press to set something off. Spent ages wondering round here. There’s a one way system which is well planned out on the floor and you have to book a ticket in advance with extended opening times.

(Translated by Google) On the way to Denmark, we spontaneously decided to look at the miniature wonder worlds. Saturday morning 7.30 clock, everything was great. The price (45 € for 2 adults and 2 children) is based on the effort already appropriate. With a step on the plant boundary, it is very easy for children to observe the miniature wonder world. Also for children with a height of just 85 cm, it is possible. However, I have to say that it was from about 10 o'clock already very crowded and for children uncomfortable / confusing. However, a trip to Hamburg is always worthwhile.

Very nice place, you can really see that there is a great attention to every little detail. However, we went on a Sunday at 1pm and we had to wait for 30min before being able to start our visit. Inside it was overcrowded, no-one was keeping social distancing.

One of the best tourist attractions on this planet - maybe in the universe. The team building and maintaining this is crazy and awesome! So many ideas, details over details, impossible to see them all. Just bring yourselves enough time to enjoy.

Very good place to visit with limited number of people let inside. The details in the miniature of famous locations makes it more attractive. 20€ entry and includes free toilet. A canteen is also available. Plan a week earlier or you would find only odd hour tickets

It's the best you can get for kids a and adults alike. Such a huge mass on detail and small stories. So many corners where there is something to discover! I recommend binoculars :)

Very huge exhibition. Very very detailed. You can find many Easter eggs here and there. You need between 3 to 4 hours to visit it completely. Highly suggested.

I think the name says it all. An amazing experience in Hambourg where you get to see miniature reproductions of cities / countries. I loved how we got to peek in the “holy” (and less holy) lives of all the tiny characters living in this wunderland. I would advise to visit the museum later at night as it is somewhat less crowded. To experience everything I would recommend taking between 2 and 3 hours.

  • 5/5 Yudong S. 2 years ago on Google
Worth a visit even if you only managed to get 0000-0030 ticket. You can always try to go early with that ticket and see the situation. I managed to get in at 2330 with a 0000 ticket. You probably need 2 hours to go through it all (because i didn't manage to finish it) and there is a lindt machine in the Swiss section where you can watch your chocolate get wrapped and take it home!

Top Top Top (to see attraction) for matures & kids The museum is very big, exciting, well organized and definitely will make you feel amazed and happy when exploring it.

Great location and a must see in hamburg. It was very crowded besides the online reservation and corona measures. As a result it was hard to see everythimg and close to impossible to keep a distance of 1.5m to other visitors. This is all made up by the ton of small detail in the minitures. I will definitely come back after the pa demic and plan more than the recomended 2 to 3 hrs here

  • 5/5 Linda R. 2 years ago on Google
So much fun to look at all the details. We admire the people who construct all this with so much passion, humour and patience.

Wonderful entertainment place in Hamburg, a visit definitely should take more than 4 to 5 hours to see everything without a rush. The best idea is to spend almost whole day here. Tickets should be bought beforehand, the waiting queue for visitors without online tickets can get really long during weekends.

  • 5/5 Stephan D. 2 years ago on Google
A miniature world created with passion and love. The extensive and rich displays capture the feeling of the original cities and landscapes. Every display features many, many individual scenes. Definitely a must.

Expect to spend HOURS here! There is so much to see and experience. We loved how each exhibit had numerous interactive opportunities. There was even a mini Lindt Chocolate Factory that actually gave you a chocolate to enjoy! We spent 2 and 1/2 hours and barely saw every exhibit. Everyone is a kid at this place! I think the favorite exhibit was the mini airport and watching planes take off and land! A must when in Hamburg!

  • 5/5 Michela C. 2 years ago on Google
This place and it's miniature are so realistic and accurate that it feels like you're having a tour around the world. You can visit Italy, Switzerland, Germany, American and see how an airport works while walking around in the museum. Amazing!

  • 5/5 Robert O. 1 year ago on Google
A must do if you are in the city. We spent three hours there and could of spent longer, if we hadn't had to wear masks. A delight for adults and children, don't forget to look out for the little quirky items in the diorama's. E.g. a skiing penguin on the slopes, elephants in the circus audience and don't forget 'Who you gonna call?' plus many more. Have a great time.

It’s WOW! One of the most interesting place I visited in Germany, a must visit in Hamburg. Those model trains, airport and cars, ships are so well organized and I can stay there for a whole afternoon. They have a canteen with simple food in affordable price so you really can stay there for a whole day. It’s recommended to book your visit at least a week before visit so that you no need to go to a long queue.

This place is awesome!!! Even being adults you'll definitely enjoy it. I spent there 3 hours instead of planned 1.5)) Everything is so tiny and well organized, stuff control everything :each train, car and plane. You can see all the transport connections and different cities including Hamburg. Also there's possibility to push the buttons and see interesting actions. I highly recommend this place especially with kids!

  • 5/5 Dániel P. 1 year ago on Google
The single best attraction in Hamburg - it is unimaginable not to fall in love with the detailed everyday life of 289 000 plastic figures, the trains and all the other - I could easily spend a week there. Also amazing that after 20+ years the owners are still working on new worlds - you can see the progress on the latest additions, Venice and Rio was truly amazing.

In a place you will find every important building and historical place in a miniature scale. there railway is biggest of its kind in the whole world. But I think they should work on the ship and river simulation. One of the best experience that I have during my time at hamburg. They Also simulated the night and day. The airport was my favorite.

What a wonderful visit. Truly enjoyed my time here. The place sounds like something for children, but it has something for every one no matter your age. The interactive componets was the best part, including the airport and watching the planes take off. Amazing details and a lot of hard work went into this museum. Looking forward to returning to see Monaco.

Definitely worth a visit when visiting Hamburg, we spent about 3 hours here and even so we did not stop at every figure or train. Very interesting to see it, for those who love trains and miniatures overall it is definitely a stop for the whole day. Important! Book tickets few days ahead! We booked two day before and only one time gap left at 21.30 :))

  • 5/5 Nestija J. 1 year ago on Google
Great place! I've been to some mini-worlds across the world, however, this one is particularly interesting, very interactive and you can se a lot of attention was payed to the details. Very interesting, even for adults! Would recommend leaving at least 2.5-3 hrs to see everything well. Honesty, I wasn't expecting much from this place, and in the end it completely blew my mind. I saw that they are building more rooms, so I am looking forward to visiting again in the future.

  • 5/5 Narasimha K. 11 months ago on Google
Must visit!! Don't miss!! I always wanted to visit this place ever since I saw a video of the miniature airport on TV! Finally found time and booked my visit a month in advance. Trust me, you won't be disappointed visiting this place. You can easily spend up to 3-4 hours to visit every stall and every "country" within the facility. It'll simply blow your mind to see how much attention to detail is given to every single miniature replica. This place attracts both young and the old alike. Those mini trains, train tracks, planes, trucks etc are a delight to see. There are ample seats available here to sit and relax if you grow tired. There is also a toilet facility and a vending machine to have some quick snacks. Of course, a restaurant too at the exit.

Every time I am in Hamburg I visit this place, and it never fails to impress me. There are always some new details I get go notice, or completely new set-ups to explore (like South America this time, Monaco is now work in progress). Make sure to buy the ticket in advance and there is almost no waiting time. Also, make sure to devote enough time, as you can easily spend here whole day! ✨

  • 5/5 DK C. 8 months ago on Google
Simply the best miniature land I've been! The attention to detail is just mind blowing, and you can see how much time and effort the people behind it dedicated to making this as realistic as possible. If you love model trains or planes, this is a must. The airport actually has real-time departures and arrivals, which is amazing-- watch out for the special arrival from Tattoine! You can easily spend HOURS there (though try to go early, as it gets really crowded). Loved it.

I visited the Miniatur Wunderland and it was simply amazing! The precision and attention to detail put into this place is simply phenomenal. I had a great time and one of the most impressive was the real time chocolate factory producing chocolate for visitors in the Wunderland. You should visit this location if you find yourself in Hamburg. Well recommended!👍🏾

Bring your childhood dream back at Miniatur Wunderland! I heard from taxi driver about this place and never disappointed. All miniature are so real with a daylight and nighttime with a perfect lighting control. This is such a great experience here in Hamburg

  • 5/5 Melanie Y. 9 months ago on Google
As an adult travelling solo, I didn't see much value in coming here as it seemed more suitable for children but I was incredibly mistaken. I spent almost 6 hours here! If you pre-book your tickets online, you can get discounted tickets for earlier and later tickets. The amount of detail and the interactivity lit my curiosity and kept me entertained. The buttons you press to make the figures move were exciting and it was like playing a little scavenger hunt to make it more interesting than just looking at the models, and you could get your hands in there. The layout is great and easy to navigate for the most part (there was one floor with models on both sides so you had to swing back and forth, but the rest you could just walk along one side and see the whole place). Bathrooms and places to sit and rest allowed me to stay comfortable and content for the day. The use of technology to make the models come alive were simply spectacular. The coat check was also only half a euro which is incredibly cheap.

Miniatur Wunderland is an absolute marvel and a must-visit attraction. It’s a world of imagination brought to life in the most intricate and mesmerizing way. The attention to detail is mind-boggling, from the meticulously crafted landscapes and bustling cities to the tiny vehicles and moving trains that traverse the miniaturized world. Every corner reveals new surprises and hidden delights, making it impossible to take in all the wonders in just one visit. The passion and craftsmanship that went into creating this miniature masterpiece are truly commendable. Whether you’re a model train enthusiast, a lover of artistry, or simply seeking a unique experience, Miniatur Wunderland will leave you awe-inspired and captivated. It’s a place where dreams are realized on a small scale, and where visitors of all ages can find joy and marvel at the magic of imagination.

Just wow !!! It's an amazing museum. So much to see and be amazed. We spent around 4 hours seeing all the models. The best was the airport and airplane model. It's wonderful place to get kids and even the old ones enjoy the museum. There are many different models. Buying tickets in advance is highly recommended. There is a restaurant as well in the museum. Breakfast and lunch options were good. I recommend booking tickets for the morning slot so that you have enough time to explore the whole museum.

I couldn’t imagine how much effort it is to create this tiny worlds with all that hidden details and moving trains, cars, trucks, planes and even ships on water. There is tiny unique stories hidden in between so you could probably find a new one each time visiting this place. We went on a Saturday night at around 20:30 and there were still quite a lot of people.

  • 5/5 A.K. 8 months ago on Google
Amazing, I spent 3 hours there without noticing the time. Other than being amazed by the exhibited miniature models, it was even more amazing to see they have a central control room for all the operation, the lightings, the movements of all trains (there are many of them) the ships... They control and monitor everything from one main room - that's an admirable operation. There are also quality speakers that make the experience even greater, like the sound of an airplanes landing, or church bell etc. Must visit!

  • 5/5 P G. 8 months ago on Google
Great museum! We spent over 5 hours on our visit, and it felt short. The model trains, cars, boats, and airplanes are all fantastic, and the attention to detail is second to none. All the little easter eggs are fun to find! Highly recommend!

Just wonderful, every single time. It's especially nice to see the place be developed over all these years. You can spot the areas which were completed over 10 years ago and see real differences to the techniques used in the newer areas. It's worth a visit at least every 2-3 years.

Truly incredible lives up to all the hype and beyond. The level of detail is breathtaking especially seing layouts night and day, you could spend a full day here and not see all the amazing details and love and care put into the models. The bistro is very nice too with reasonably priced food and cool train seating. For those waiting for their time slot during the day there is free soda while you wait and games and tv which is a nice touch.

Totally recommend. I'm really love it here. Kinda crowded but still be able to enjoy it. I love that they also shows day light and bight light in each area which is super amazing. And if you wanna see all the details the trip here might long to 4-5 hours or even longer. Love it here!

  • 5/5 Colin C. 4 months ago on Google
Couldn't believe the size of the layout and the level of detail. Make sure and look closely as there are lots of little scenes. You need to set aside at least half a day but you could easily spend a day. Coffee shop and restaurant on site. Friendly and helpful staff.

The miniature museum is so cool, better to buy the tickets in advance. It takes 2.5 to 3 hours to visit this museum. The best part is the airport. You can check the arrivals and departures and see the planes landing and take off.

This was amazing, the miniatures are very detailed and well done. It is definitely worth a visit and plan to spend at least 3 hours there. Better to book the tickets at least one day in advance. The food was also good. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner.

a wonderful place! The place has about 2 floors in each building (2 buildings) connected by a glass bridge, inside it has two restaurant services (1 in each building), the food is good at a fairly reasonable price. the miniatures; many miniature recreations of real concerts, parties, airport, stall, skiing, emblematic places of Italy, Switzerland, Germany, America... also recreations of accidents, fire... many fun situations and recreations, also very laborious spectacular ones! Personally It was a dream to visit this place for many years and it met expectations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This place is absolutely amazing and a must see. You can easily spend an hour in here. The attention to detail will blow you away from one theme to the next. The rooms go dark for a few minutes, all the buildings, trains and features light up!!

That was wonderful! I couldnt believe how they made these places like the real ones. Every detail of models were so suitable. I advice that you should take a look at the floor map. They advice to start with America part for example. There are 2 floors (when you enter you will see Italy and Swiss) then go up to the 3rd floor, main models are there) take your time to enjoy because I think you need minimum 2 hours. (I spent 3 hours) 💃🏻
