Really liked this beer garden. Not too busy on a Saturday lunch time, good staff service from several staff who also spoke English and were very polite. It's also a child friendly place with climbing frame/place to play so costumiers were a mix of families and couples. The beer is fresh and has a good amount of flavour to it. Food was also served hot and we chose a Brezel pizza which was great for me but too much mustard/meerettich for my son. Though he still got to enjoy the crust. And I got to enjoy the rest! The interior is also large and had interesting beer related decor (though nobody eats inside on a warm day) which would be perfect from autumn onwards and the right time to come to try out their winter beer.

Food : 4.5/5 Typical german restaurant at its best! I love the helles, superb aftertaste! I tried their sweet potato fries, really nice. And their beef tartar was very decent, good flavour and acidity. Service: 5/5 Great, fast, attentive, friendly.

A great brewery that we stumbled across while in town, it has a nice and comfortable atmosphere. We had their dunkel, hef, and hell beers and they were all delicious. The food however was just as delicious and a welcome surprise as we have come to expect the typical food found at many breweries. The taste of the curry coconut chicken was amazing and the quinoa salad while a little on the sweet side, had a wonderful taste. Definitely a place to check out for both the food and beer.

We had to queue, so you knew it was going to be good. And it was! Food was great portion sizes, very good taste and the beer (especially the pilsner) was absolutely fantastic, would very highly recommend! Staff were also helpful despite limited English knowledge!

Really good beer, sweet potato fries, and the most delectable falafel salad. The house made falafel is delicious, but paired with whatever minty creamy sauce that it came with, sent it over the edge into a different stratosphere. Rounded off with a charming atmosphere, good location, wi-fi, and friendly service. Can only recommend.

Very nice local place to grab a bier and kick back with friends during nice weather. Fairly priced food and drinks with several delicious bier options, which I believe they also brew here. Plentiful parking and easy to find :) Friendly staff available in German and English.

This was a very authentic and nice place to spend part of the afternoon. Great food and beer and they speak English. Good prices too. The town of Speyer is also very quaint and clean.

Great place to have few beers under the shades on a hot deutsch summer day.

This place is quaint, loud and so lively, especially if you get seats on the ground floor! One could be feeling that the understaff service is poor, not reactive and not friendly -go for the upper floor -more space and definitely quieter! The spot is known for brewing their own beers -and you should definitely go for it! The food was tasty and the portion well sized for a decent hunger. It is not possible to make a bad decision when it comes to food there -expect to wait a bit. My take: located around the cathedral, this spot is a must stop for lunch/dinner.

Busy German pub serving various (mainly) beers and food to your table. Rustic fayre (expect lots of braised meats, potatoes, dumplings, sausages/wurst). Don't expect much by way of veg/salad. Great tasting beer. Lovely atmosphere especially for groups.

Food is average, beer seems ok but I can’t say for sure since I received the wrong order twice in a row, which means service isn’t that great…but maybe it’s just because we were seated in the bar area…atmosphere is fairly cozy, I’d like to see what it’s like in summer when the garden is open.

Overall great food and atmosphere at this German brewhouse with good selection of beer. Duck was tender and moist, beef soup n vegan penne were delicious, only the pork medallion was tough. Service was great.

Dined on the Domhofer Teller, pork medallions with mushrooms and gravy, and spaetzle, with a side salad as well. Delicious, the gravy was the winner of this plate for me. Everything was fantastic, but the tasty gravy pulled it all together and made me want to eat every last bite. Service was polite and timely, they paid attention and checked in on us a few times. We accidentally seated ourselves at a reserved table, and they were absolutely kind about moving us over and getting us resettled. The place is traditional German style inside, looks warm and inviting, and comfortable.

Fantastic place with local, very good food and nice beers. Always full, with nice atmosphere and effective service.
