We had a party of 14 people on A Sunday. There was a wait for the table but at least they were able to accommodate our party. Our hostess was friendly, attentive and provided service with a smile. The broiled crab cake was excellently cooked. The cream of crab soup was bland; however, it tasted better once I used the provided Old Bay seasoning. The crab balls were tasty and the salmon looked good. We were each provided a glass carafe with additional soda or tea (depending on what you ordered). I liked that touch because we didn’t have to wait for refills. I would go back.

It’s just what the sign says, seafood. You can’t call ahead and you can’t make a reservation so if you come in on a Friday night you just put your name on the list and wait. We had a large party so the wait was right around an hour. We totally expected that, but when we sat down, the service was prompt, the drinks were flowing and the food was delicious. My husband had the signature crab bombs and I the stuffed shrimp. They both were amazing. For dessert we had the layered chocolate cake and the coconut cake both were delicious. We all enjoyed our food.

Finally made it back to Jerry's Seafood and it did not disappoint! Ordered the Crab Bomb again. If you've never tried it, you're missing out! The crab meat is so sweet and juicy, it melts in your mouth. It's definitely with the price.

If you are looking for all crab meat in a crab cake look no further. Came here the day after the snow storm and there was hardly anyone there so the wait time was little to none. Staff were great and food was Good Good!!!

Stopped in here during a work trip due to the good reviews and a local recommendation. I was torn between the seafood platter and the "Crab Bomb" but since it seemed to be what they're known for, I have it a try. I'm glad I did! It was cooked just right, tasted fresh, and wasn't overloaded with seasoning. I also got the veggie of the day, scallion string beans, they were good too. I thought it was a bit of a high price for it, but there's so much crab, I felt it was a fair price after all. I'll be back to try the platter in the future!

Listen, I am extremely late to the game as I have been needing to try this restaurant for about a year. Decided to try them after a trip to the zoo. Was seated immediately, and my server was Mixy. When I tell you she is absolutely FABULOUS 👌. Found out she has been working for the restaurant for about 14 years. She is top-notch. Never forgot anything and was spot on with the recommendations. She never made you feel like she was rushing you to order or to wrap up your meal. She will be requested when I go back. Let's talk about the food... soup phenomenal. I went with the crab bisque based on Mixy's recommendation. I loved it so much that I went back several days later for takeout. The restaurant is about 35-45 minutes away as I live in Virginia, but well be worth the drive. Also had the crab dip which I can attest to being delicious even when coming straight out of the fridge. The crab bomb was probably my least favorite item. Now, before you attack me for saying something about the most well-known item on the menu. I'm not saying the crab bomb is bad. I'm just saying out of all of the items ordered, I could leave or take it honestly. My mom ordered the fried fish, and it came out golden brown and perfectly crispy. It unfortunately has a sweet cornmeal batter, which honestly we weren't a fan of. I would love it if there was another option. Green beans smh don't eat those that's all I will say about that. Lastly, the pound cake. My mother can bake, I can bake my grandmother made a bomb pound cake. Listen, that lemon pound cake that was served to me that day was so darn delicious, and I normally will say nobody can come close to my mother's or grandmother's pound cake. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Trust me, you will thank me later. Don't walk! Run to Jerry's and ask for Mixy! Sit a spell and enjoy all the yummy items on that menu.

Jerry's Seafood is probably one of the only restaurants I've visited that actually give you a crab cake with 100% crab and no filler. The crab taste fresh and sweet. The calamari was fried lightly but tasted like fried flour with no taste. The sauce that accompanied the calamari was sweet and didn't exactly go with calamari. Other than that Jerry's seafood is a good spot to visit. I would probably recommend going during the week or at lunch to skip the long wait times.

Lunch with my co workers. Not to busy and enough wait staff. Food delivered in a timely fashion. Calamari was tasty, the marinara sauce was a little sweeter than I like but good. The prices have increased as with everything else. Nice sized crab & shrimp bomb and it did not disappoint. It would have been nice to have lunch portion & pricing. I would visit again.

We came for the crab bombs and we were not disappointed!! They were huge and filler free!! Fairly priced as well. The calamari was also a highlight and our server, Eddie, was very friendly and attentive!

Now prices were a little high for a lunch meal outing, they're menu did warn of a 70% increase in the cost of crab meat due to shortages with COVID. All the food was amazing we ordered the Fresh Crab Dip, Salmon Sauted in Garlic Butter w/baked potato and stewed tomatoes, and the Crab & Shrimp Bomb w/Applesauce and green beans. The food was so fresh it burn the roof of my mouth...that doesn't happen often at restaurants normally my food is room temp or slightly hot.

Oysters were fresh and delicious, lump crab cakes (fried and broiled) with no filler, warm rolls with warm butter. We had a large party and were seated promptly. Great experience here.

I guess there is shortage of crab right now causing the prices of crab related entrees to increase. I appreciate Jerry's letting us know that beforehand. The price may have increased but the taste remained the same! Delicious! Maryland crab cakes are the best and Jerry's does them well 👌🏾 Look at that jumbo lump meat broken down 😍 #crabbomb

I've been coming to Jerry's since they were in Lanham. It was where I wanted to go for my high school graduation dinner in 1994. They have been consistently great. I've never had an issue or a meal I was not completely happy with.

I ordered takeout because I needed to see what the hype was all about. After waiting a total of 38 minutes outside in 45 degree temperatures I finally got my food. I was excited to see what people were talking about. Wow this was a disappointment. My crab bomb was milky and too creamy all though it didn’t have a lot of fillers it wasn’t very good but was acceptable. Maybe the dine in experience is better? Who knows?? I’ll probably give that a shot and see. At the Cost of $50 my expectations were surely a little higher but I’m hoping my dine in won’t be a waste.

I had the pleasure of eating at the bar of this place with Paul as the bartender. He and his barback were attentive, kind and might I say, very easy on the eye. Drinks are priced to market and also well made. 5/5. Now the food. Perfect cream of crab soup with lots of lump crab. Hot, flavorful, well made blackened salmon with crab imperial atop. The side ceasar salad was just okay as I prefer graded cheese vs shaved. The greenbeans were a bit undercooked 4/5. The atmosphere was a bit loud with just a few people (12 while I was there) for a 3$ establishment but it is a small bar and nearly enclosed from the rest of the restaurant, so the sound has nowhere to go.4/5 Overall, I will return here. Advice: Don't go to the bar (while more than 10 people are there) if you want to have a quiet conversation. Sit in the restaurant section instead

First time. PROS: Service & atmosphere was excellent. Food was great, The Crab Bomb is defiantly all crab meat & no filler! CONS: Kinda sucks that the dishes don't come with sides, thats separate. The crab meat on top of Cream Crab Soup is all the meat you get, still good tho. Only thing lacking was flavor. Had to add salt & Old Bay constantly while eating both dishes.

BLUF great crab place amazing service about $80 per person for drink, appetizer, and meal Drinks: had a top shelf Long Island. Very strong and good. Pretty good size $14 Apps: We had the oysters on a half shell and fresh crab dip as appetizers. Both really good and the crab dip had huge chucks of crab. Meal: I had the spicy crab bomb. Very good but the spice was just pepper. Overwhelmed the crab taste a little. Others got the regular crab bomb. Great crab flavor. Green beans were very crispy and hood. Cole slaw was also good. The have a house made salad dressing (honey mustard like) which was very good. The potato wedges were great. Atmosphere: overall good. Not too loud. Large police presence but very friendly. Service was quick and amazing. Heidi was our server. Very knowledgeable, friendly, quick to check in. $240 with tip for 3 of us

The food was very good. I wanted a little bit of everything so I tried the Mariner's Platter with steamed shrimp, fried shrimp, fried haddock, fried crab cake, fried oysters, and fried scallops. Their crab bomb and crab dip also were very delicious. Real crab meat 💯

The lump crab cakes are broiled and loaded with real, juicy, and tender pieces of crab meat without all the fillers. The service was great, and the atmosphere was okay. It's extremely busy, so I suggest arriving earlier or being prepared to wait. The string beans with the garlic seasoning... DELICIOUS. The calamari were delicious, but I personally do not care for sweetened marinara sauce for them... having a choice of whether you prefer sweet or unsweetened would make things better. The sweet tea (the diabetic tea) is a treat, but ask for a glass of water just in case. Overall, this is worth stopping by.

The food is still the star of the show! Definitely worth the drive to Bowie, Md for Jerry's seafood. I had their famous Crab Bomb and it was the Bomb!!! It was: Mosit, plump, hot, Delicious and full of flavor. We were a party of 10 which included one child. Everyone had an amazing time and the service was great. Definitely looking forward to my return trip to Jerry's seafood!

We haven't been to Jerry's Seafood in 30+ years. We arrived at 5:15pm on a Sat and had ax15 min wait. The place was almost full. 3 vacant tables. Our server, Ben was efficient. The salad was crisp and nice size. The crab bomb was excellent. All lump no filler.

Finally got to Jerry’s Seafood to get a crab bomb! It was a busy Sunday, but fortunately I was able to snag a seat at the bar so I could watch football. I had an old fashioned that was tasty…then got my baby crab bomb! I paired it with sautéed green beans and a baked potato and was very happy! It was just enough food that I didn’t feel stuffed and the crab bomb was perfect! Plenty of parking and the bartenders were lovely…in fact, a basket of bread was set next to me and I wasn’t even sure it was mine 😂

It’s a good seafood restaurant, the only dish that really stood out were their crab bombs. Everything else we had were just ok. Service could use some improvements tho. Our appetizers and the entrees came out all at the same time, while we were still eating our salads. Our drinks went empty for a couple of times during the visit as well. Overall, it’s a good restaurant, but definitely give their crab bombs a try if you’re in the area.

Summary: Crab bomb is good. Fries are good. Highly recommend. Food: I love the crab bomb. It is just so good. As you can see in my pictures, I ate before I could think about taking a picture. The fries are nicely seasoned with Old bay. The complimentary bread came with warmed butter. (I asked for seconds of bread for my soup). My cream of crab soup was rich, complex, but so filling. Coleslaw was decent just not my style. Still ate half. Seasonal veggies were also decent. Nonfood: Easy to park into. Attentive servers that never gave me any judgement for asking for more bread.

First I want to say I love trying new restaurants -was looking up seafood in Bowie and found this one, drove 1hr . Arrived at 3:50 pm on Saturday, had to wait for an hour to get seated Really don't mind just headed back to the car 45 minutes later received a text message that my table was ready. We got seated and everything was great from there the waitress was amazing. Will be going back again ever if I have to wait for an hr.

My husband and I had dinner here today for our wedding anniversary. We have eaten here before and had enjoyed ourselves for the most part. We must admit, the service was absolutely courteous, demonstrated excellent customer service skills and extremely professional. However, this time we were highly disappointed with my entree. My husband ordered the salmon, it was a little dry but he was ok with it. I ordered the fried catfish and it was beyond subpar and came way under the standard, especially for a restaurant that is considered on the higher end of the food chain establishment. The batter was something that was not delectable by no means. Not only was it bland but it was extremely course, the tartar sauce and hot sauce just made it worse. It was so bad I had to take the little portion of fish that was in the batter out and eat it plain. Furthermore, it’s a good thing the fish was not the size I would expect for $30 because I didn’t want to waste all my money. We also ordered the cream of crab soup, we had their soup before and it caused you to smack your lips, it was so delicious. This time, this soups base tasted like mayonnaise, it was not the rich crabby taste we had experienced the first time. This deplorable experience is most certainly our last, we don’t care to throw away $105.53. This is including a donation for tip, $15 for the exceptional service staff. Thank you, service staff you helped the evening not to be completely soured.

Went here on Mother's day! The staff had everything set out and organized. It was super packed! Food is pretty good. The crab cake was really good, the bread was sooo hard, the coleslaw was too "soupy" and the salad was good! However, the prices are over the top. I usually go to Baltimore, however I wanted to try this place out. I will probably only visit during lunch time. Baltimore has cheaper crab cakes that are really good for a great price.

First time here! Came recommended by my hotel. The only bad thing I’ve got to say is that it’s wayyy over priced! Now the food was amazing. I had the Blackened Haddock which fell apart when I cut it, so full of flavor juicy an tender pour that honey mustard sauce on top and wow!! Other than the prices my overall experience was awesome, fast and friendly service.

Jaw dropping food that's loaded with flavor. If you're in the mood for crab, get the crab bomb, no questions asked. It's easily the best crab entree I've had and it's absolutely loaded with fresh crab and so delicious. We had the dip and calamari as well which was also incredible. Hats off to the staff, we sat in the bar because there was a two hour wait and they took excellent care of us.

Great drinks and personable staff. Management is very hands on with supporting staff based on my observation. They assisted with running food and clearing plates/glasses, etc. which if you’ve ever worked in service industry, is a rarity. I ordered the crab casino appetizer. It was definitely chock full of fresh, quality crab but it wasn’t as flavorful as I would have hoped. I did not order an entree due to my disappointment in the appetizer BUT I drowned in drinks. Ambience in the bar, which is portioned off from the main dining room, was relaxed and fantastic.

Disappointed with this visit at Jerry’s. We got take out for lunch and the crab cake is less than 4 oz and very buttery for $32. I understand crab prices went up but I think Jerry’s is taking advantage!
