10 out of 10. These bagels are insane good and the service here was great. I came in this morning and the staff was awesome! (:

What an awesome find! Super friendly, enthusiast staff. The simple food came popping hot and was outstanding! We night extra bagels and we'll buy more! You can order from the counter and they'll bring it to you or order at your table. There's a large number of school aged employees that were fantastic. I love they hire those young adults. But all the staff were great! Will be back.

Food was great.... But being our first time there we did not know that we order from the table. Waiter and waitress got rather upset that we had already ordered from the cash register. Won't be going back to this place due to employee attitudes.

The food was excellent. The service was okay. But I will most likely come back at least once more to see if they can both be on level next time.

Excellent quality on ingredients. Great bagels, a true NY style bagel. Definitely returning for my bagel sandwhich or bagel and smear fix in the future.

Gone downhill. Place had very slow service, the cream cheese was warm and the bagel tasted like it was frozen. The potatoes were old and cold. Never again.

I stopped in on a Saturday morning and was greeted with excellent service. I hadn't been in before and was given some great suggestions. I ordered 3 different bagels to go. They all were fresh and hearty portions.

We got the egg-a-bagel pile up, and the challah french toast with banana walnut caramel. Both were perfect! All the elements of the bagel pile up were fresh and crisp, and the challah french toast had the most perfect texture (crispy, fluffy, and moist all at once). I only wish there was more butter with the French toast, because the butter was really delicious. Our server was also super friendly and patient.

Ruth the manager is incredible. She goes above and beyond to make sure the customer has a good experience. I know this because we had issues with our Seamless/Grubhub delivery. When I called to let the restaurant know that we were missing some items, Ruth made the correction and DROVE THE MISSING ITEMS TO MY PLACE HERSELF!! Never in my life have I had a manager of a restaurant speedily make the missing item then drive it to me herself. Incredible. She even threw in some sweet treats for good measure. My experience was so wonderful that I ordered from restaurant again the next day. If I'm every in the area, I'll be ordering my breakfast from here. Food is good too! You can pick how crispy you want your bacon. Lox platter was good. The potato pancakes are a must!

Pleasant atmosphere. Sam was knowledgeable and helpful. We chose the bialy but were disappointed with the texture, although the lox spread was tasty.

I love this place typically, but I am so disappointed today. Somewhere under this giant mess is a bagel. I was able to salvage half by wiping off a ton of cream cheese but had to throw away the rest because it was such a mess. I had to rush to bring my daughter to ballet so I couldn't bring it back unfortunately. 😩

Been here many times. Always great. The food makes you feel comfortable. The Egg-A-Bagel Pileup is so filling and delicious. Get it with the jalapeno & cheese bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. So good! All the Benedicts and pastries are amazing as well!

I am sad to have to write such a review, but I feel i should share as my husband got physically ill from food poisoning. We ordered lox on a bagel (open faced) and a bialy with scallion CC. Something tasted very off regarding the CC, but the lox was what made my husband sick. It's a shame because we have been trying different places to see where we should bring out-of-state visitors. This unfortunately will not be part of the itinerary.

A regular at another area deli we decided to diverge just to taste.......NY Bagels 'N Bialys was a nice suprise and very good. Greeted by a friendly hostess and served by a very attentive (pretty new) server. Bagels & Bialys were great, eggs & bacon very good' matzo brie excellent. Mom's chocolate phosphate was not up to par so we'll coach them next time.

Husband and I love the open face bagel with cream cheese, lox, onion, capers and pickle. We get extra topping and split it. Soo good. Service has always been great

Have been to NYBB a lot - bagels are good, consistent. The rest of their breakfast is fine. All around I would say it's an average bagel and breakfast spot. Definitely avoid the flavored cold brew: really sweet to the point it is almost undrinkable.

I've had breakfast here, mainly for convenience, on and off for years, but overall, the place looks & feels tired, dated & while not outright dirty, just clean enough to pass inspection. One of the most annoying things when is that 90% of the tables are not level and rock. The menus look beat up & breakfast is priced on the high side. The scrambled eggs look & taste flat & greasy like you'd see at a cheap dinner. I asked for crisp bacon, which arrived limp & greasy and the potato pancake was so dense & tasteless, it is comparable to eating a hockey pock. They bagels are freshly baked, and they have a carry out counter that does a brisk business. I believe this is a family business, and I love to support individually owned restaurants, but the wind feels like it's gone out of their sails, and everything is just... adequate. A fresh pair of eyes is needed to restore this to any place worth visiting beyond picking up bagels to go.

Turkey sandwich was way below the level a Jewish deli should be dishing out. Rotten lettuce, average turkey quality and fries that were hot, but thin and tasteless. Stick to breakfast here.

Drove 40 minutes in horrible traffic to get breakfast for our office & I will happily do it again lol. The food was AMAZING. Everyone loved their breakfast. On top of that the customer service is awesome. The person who took my order was SO incredibly friendly.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. I never had a bialy so I tried the chocolate chip bialy. It tasted similar to a bagel, but I actually liked it better than a bagel! I also had a cheese blintz with applesauce; delicious! Service was excellent. Will be back!

Major decline in quality over the years. My wife and I used to LOVE going here, we even had part of our wedding catered by them. We visited twice in the past few weeks as we hadn't been in a long time and were craving some of their great food. The first visit was majorly disappointing; we thought maybe it was a fluke, but the second visit was just as frustrating. They offer a lot less on their menu than previously, the quality of the food has declined, the portions shrunk significantly, and both times we had to dispute incorrect charges. I wish that I could recommend NYBB as it used to be our "go-to" brunch location, but I highly recommend you go somewhere else. We won't be coming back 😞.

I've driven past this place a million times, but finally decided to stop in for lunch after visiting the nail salon across the way. The food was great! I had the best turkey swiss wrap I think I've ever had. It's a laid-back atmosphere with a dog-friendly patio.
