My
husband
and
I
want
to
like
this
place
because
we
love
Indian
food,
it's
near
our
home,
and
it
has
been
around
for
a
long
time.
However,
it
is
an
awkward
experience
every
time
we
go.
The
decor
is
confusing
(white
tablecloths
and
stemmed
glasses
paired
with
outdated
china,
old
chairs
too
low
for
the
table,
and
dirty
carpet),
and
the
restaurant
is
eerily
quiet
except
for
conversations
coming
from
the
kitchen.
The
staff
seems
inexperienced
and/or
disinterested.
The
servers
bring
your
food
and
occasionally
fill
your
empty
glasses,
but
they
otherwise
spend
their
time
standing
around
in
the
back.
This
visit,
the
server
was
nice
but
kept
asking
us
if
we
wanted
drinks
or
desserts,
and
it
felt
like
she
was
trying
to
make
a
big
of
a
sale
as
possible
on
the
only
table
in
the
restaurant.
The
food
was
okay.
We
ordered
vegetable
biryani,
aloo
gobi,
dal,
naan,
and
paratha.
None
of
it
tasted
better
than
our
home-cooked
versions,
unfortunately.
I
did
like
the
naan,
but
I'm
not
going
back
just
for
a
$5
piece
of
bread.
With
tip,
the
meal
cost
$80.
There
was
another
entree
we
wanted
to
try
another
time,
but
I
don't
know
we'll
be
back
any
time
soon.
I
wish
the
restaurant
owner
and
staff
well.
I
want
them
to
succeed,
but
they'll
need
to
step
up
their
game
if
they
want
to
compete
with
all
the
excellent
restaurants
in
the
neighborhood.
