Loved the food, right across the street from mango on istiklal street, I ordered two meals, the chicken futticinni was probably from the best I tried, came out to around 95TL for two, but what I don’t get is I’m getting takeaway order but yet still have to pay service fee of 10TL which is ok I guess but not sure why if I’m not eating there. But I do give it very good review because honestly the food was very good and seems to stay busy. I would recommend they have the menu in English for any tourist to understand, I used google to see what other meals meant.

I had the pleasure of trying out Esmer Restaurant, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! Located right in the middle of Istiklal Street, this restaurant has a great atmosphere and vibe. During my visit, I tried the pasta and fries, and I have to say, it was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time. The sauce was hot and delicious, and it paired perfectly with the fries. I left feeling completely satisfied and happy. Overall, I would highly recommend Esmer Restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a fantastic location. I visited them after a recommendation from a friend who visited Istanbul before, This place has a great atmosphere! The food was truly world class, especially their lasagna & Kofta. We enjoyed our time there 👌🏻

Very bad experience, the waiter forget to punch full order, spaghetti bolognaise too much oily, tavuk wrap too much dry, side salad very cheap, fries is salty. He forget to serve the soft drink. Price is ok, location in Istiklal street.

One of the best fettuccine con pollo i ever had! This is their only branch. If you are looking for great pasta, lasagna or pizza after having doners and kebabs every day, this is a must try. 2 plates of fettuccine and 2 peach lemondate will cost around 450Tr

We went there right after landing into Istanbul and checking into our hotel, we were quite ravished so we would’ve eaten anything honestly. I had seen many many positive reviews of this restaurant and decided to go here for lunch, luckily it was a very short 5 minute walk from our hotel , in the heart of istikal street. We were directed to the first floor where seating was available, it is small and a bit congested but quite tidy. We ordered quickly, we got the patato gnocchi, bolognese spaghetti, seafood risotto, chicken burger and a American. We also got 2 salads to share. The salads came first, they were good and filling and had a delicious balsamic glaze and white cheese but lacked seasoning. The shrimp risotto was good and very very filling, but a bit oily. The shrimp in the risotto was extremely good! The gnocchi was the best, satisfying and creamy, the burger was good in quantity but a bit dry, however the onion rings it came with were good. The bolognese was also good, not the best we’ve had. Service was prompt and payment through international debit card was easy. Good satisfying and very filling quick meal.

If you crave pasta on Istanbul Street, it is good here. You can enjoy your food with the view of istiklal Street. The food was good.

We visited twice this place was so delicious! I recommend their mint lemonade! The burgers, pasta, and even pizza were absolutely delicious and their portion sizes are more than generous👌🏽 their staff goes above and beyond to serve you the best.

I had an amazing meal here. The menu is extensive and there are many vegetarian options. The service is exceptional - the servers were attentive and answered all my questions. Definitely going back next time I'm in Istanbul. Great falafel!

One of the best places I've been at. I went there me and my wife, I ordered the grilled chicken and she ordered chicken wrap. The food was amazing and the service is great. We sat upstairs, the view and ambient was amazing. Very recommended 👌🏼

Safe option from being more adventurous to try more traditional Turkish cuisine. Esmer cafe has pizza, pasta and burgers to attract younger people who would get scared by Turkish food. The food is kind of salty. On the Cesar pizza they add lettuce and parmesan, little odd but it is what it is.

Cute coffee place for a simple breakfast. We ordered the avocado salmon toast and an oat bowl. Coffee was ok, The oats were delicious. The toast needed more salmon but was good. I would come again.

The Vibe, the taste, the Everything. This is a special Cafe on Istiklal & this Verde Pizza is too good! All of their Pizzas must be incredible I could make out after eating mine. What a cafe! Must visit.

Overall good food, upstairs terrace is very nice, had the fettuccine and ravioli, both were very good. Didn’t enjoy the drinks too much, my mocha frappe was okay and frozen strawberry tasted artificial. Service was okay, could have been better

Esmer is a jewel on Istiklal street, that has a wide international menu catering to all kinds of tastes - from Italian to Asian and Turkish. We tried the Penne Arrabbiata, Fettuccine, Noodles Verdure and Jalapeño Poppers. Everything tasted very good. The location is great - in the middle of the always buzzing Istiklal Street in the Beyoglu area. The service is fabulous and the staff, super friendly and responsive.

Let me start off saying that just like many reviews said, the food was incredibly salty! The price was high but relatively fair compared to all the other restaurants in the area. Except to wait before getting seated. The inside of the restaurant is very fast-paced and chaotic, so I don't recommend sitting inside.

The perfect place for pizza and pasta!! I ve never eat something similar!! The spaghetti is a dream!! And pizza i perfect!!! If i went again in Istanbul i definitely eat again!!!

We came across this place while walking through Istiklal. We absolutely enjoyed it!! The food was so tasty and flavorful. The service was excellent and timely. My favourite place for pasta and pizza 🍕 in Istanbul. The best! Delicious food and fresh ingredients. I love the setting and the atmosphere. In an old building yet they made it look smart friendly and warm. The food portion is large 😋 Very cold day and I am enjoying my pasta de mari 😋 I highly recommend it 👌

Food was quite disappointing. Overly creamy pastas with not much taste. Really hot and stuffy inside unless you get a table next to the AC. Only good thing was the service.

Second time to visit it. The first time was 6 years ago. Last time as far as I remember I tried the pizza but this time I tried the burger. It was served with French fries. The food is tasty, fresh and clean. The service is very good and the staff speaks English so no communication issues. The prices are a bit above average but the portion is very satisfying.

Good Vegetarian Food on Taskim Square. Normally it's difficult to get pure Vegetarian food at such areas. The guy Arif who was attending our table is a good guy in terms of suggesting the dishes which suits us.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Taksim. The ambiance is very welcoming and chill. You better not be in a hurry because you will have to wait for available tables, especially at dinner service which is the busiest time. The food was really nice, you can enjoy the live cooking stations. Service was ok. Waiters need to be more organized, attentive to the assigned tables and follow up on the orders properly.

My destination whenever I'm visiting Istiklal Street or Taksim square. Offers a variety of tasty food, I have tried many plates but I think pasta is the best choice; absolutely delicious and fresh. Also, it's one of the cleanest places in Istanbul. It has both indoor and outdoor seatings. The staff is so friendly and helpful. And in my opinion, its complimentary tasteful tea at the end of the meal is really great.

If I was rating this against other good Italian restaurants then I would have rated 4 / 5. However given that Istanbul is dominated by strong Turkish food, this is one of the best non-Turkish options that I have found. The risotto and the gnocchi were excellent and worth a try.

The food was fresh and very delicious! There is some waiting time especially at night, but it's worth the wait. The servers are really nice and cooperative.
