I can honestly say that your nursing staff is the greatest. I have to leave but because of them I don't want to. Trust me when I say that they are excellent, friendly and very outgoing. Thank you to all the SSM staff. Last but not least the pt and ot staff were also great.. Again thank you for the great service.

the vast majority of the staff here are truly beautiful people. my mother recently had a stroke, and through God, these people are the reason why she is improving. Allison is an angel on this earth...the nursing staff on floor 2, with Kevin and Co., are just outstanding. I did run into a rude lady named Veronica in the cafeteria, where the rest of the staff there are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I would recommend to everyone to please, if you have a sick loved one, you really can't do any better than this place. there were some hiccups but these are truly wonderful people. God bless to everyone there. We love you. UPDATE: Hello again. I have been meaning to get out there, for this one reason....to thank you ALL for taking care of my Mother, Mrs. Irene L. McFarland. on June 15th, Mama was called Home by The Father, Almighty God, to be with Him once again, her family and dear friends. You all made her last months here on His Earth so wonderful, and I will never have the words in any language to thank you for the love, compassion, and kindness you showed her and me during her time of illness. I miss her every day, but you all take this to heart....I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. THANK YOU SO MUCH, AND GOD BLESS YOU FOR THE FINE WORK YOU DO.

This is one very amazing place! My father comes home Wednesday and has made amazing progress with the help of this rehab hospital. He suffers from a Traumatic Brain Injury & Stroke. He came here not being able to walk, barely talk and couldn’t move very much at all . In a couple days he will be walking out the doors with just a walker and completely different from when he came in. They have helped him in soo many ways, from mentally, emotional and physically! I can’t even explain the amount of gratitude we have for SSM Rehab in Bridgetown. Anytime we speak of my fathers nurses his face just lights up. Even when my brother and I explain our days up there with my father , it’s always to also brag on the nurses that day and even the care techs who help. They have went above and beyond what we expected! We can honestly say there’s not one bad thing to comment on about this place or the staff. They are hands down amazing and I would recommend them a thousands times over!

My husband has had Parkinson’s for about 20 years and SSM Day Institute gives him a full hour each of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy every single day. It gives him interaction with other people throughout the day. The program is 5-1/2 hours long and he goes Monday through Friday. He has only been going for a short time and we hope to see very positive results soon. The staff is absolutely incredible. They understand his needs and are able to work with him appropriately. They are communicative with both my husband and me. I would recommend this program to anyone who needs those services.

From top to bottom DePaul Rehab is wonderful. In Feb. 2022, my sister entered after 63 days at Mercy Hospital. The staff, from the Doctors, Nurses, Techs, Dialysis, Case Manager and Rehab were caring, informative, hardworking and knowledgeable. They all took a special interest in her case. Dr. Bala, Dr. Benes, Natalie, the Nurse Practitioner and all of the nurses, PT and OT staff were absolutely so wonderful. A special shout-out to one of the nurses, Kim. Your compassion and help will never be forgotten by her, me and our family. Thank you and thank you to all of you. God bless you. My sister is now released and continuing her rehab at the Day Institute.

My own experience with SSM Rehab Hospital goes back to 2017. I had a stroke that put me in a wheelchair after about 6 weeks in the hospital. I started at SSM Day institute with the best therapy I could have gotten. I would not be where I am today if it had not been for the excellent care and therapy I received. When I started I went from a wheelchair to a walker to walking by myself back to driving and bowling. My goal was to bowl again. I cannot be more grateful to everyone who helped me along the way. I feel I got the best therapy from the best place in St. Louis.

When my father in law was transferred here, they stopped numerous necessary medications, ignored ordered procedures from previous hospital physician, stopped feeding him due to a fourth rate speech therapist's recommendation., were unable to even take an accurate blood pressure reading. When he developed a minor infection, instead of medical treatment, they suggested making him comfortable until he passed. This facility would be substandard for a veterinary practice

My dad is currently attending the Day Institute 3 days per week. He has been getting PT, OT & what he calls "children's game." While he thought he was too old, to be doing this, the staff has ensured him that he isn't and they continue to encourage him. They have done an excellent job in the short time he has been attending and he actually looks forward to attending. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff the the DePaul Day Institute.

My husband admitted to SSM Rehab Bridgeton after spending 13 days at Barnes Hospital following a fall from a rooftop at work. Our experience started wonderfully with the clinical liaison Steve Allbright answering all our questions and handling all the workman’s comp insurance needs. Brian went into rehab with 8 broken and displaced ribs, some operatively repaired, lumbar fracture, dislocated shoulder, collapsed lung, and care for his chest tube sites. We experienced helpful Drs, caring RNs (special shout out to RN Angelique and Jennifer) and incredibly knowledgeable and amazing therapists. PT Cadence is such a great therapist. Kind, caring, helpful, knowledgeable and understanding. The same for OT Jordan. We only had one hiccup with the x-ray machine being down and having to take him in a wheelchair van over to DePaul the next day. Other than that, our experience was one that offered caring, healing, and education for continued healing at home. Thank you to everyone that helped Brian during this phase in his journey.

All were so helpful and respectful of me. Without my arms, all the Super Techs helped meet all my needs without complaint. I would love to list all the techs, but so afraid I would miss one. Thanks to therapy for the strength and confidence.

The physical therapist I have worked with along with the occupational therapists have been outstanding! Jen, Karen, Bonnie Rhonda, just to name a few, are the most compassionate. kind ,patience, people I have ever dealt with. A big thumbs up from me to all the staff I have worked with at the day institute they hold a skill that is missing from most of the world I commend them for their care for patients like myself that need a road and the reason to recover from whatever we are trying to get back from. You go girls thank you so much. Kristyn Pickett

The entire staff .. physicians to therapists were professional, caring & respectful. They worked in unity to provide just what I needed...I credit the dietary dept with restoring my appetite so quickly. Specially loved the therapy dog Kia. There was a peace present that allowed time for work but also time to rest. I would 100% recommend this facility..God bless them.

I had a wonderful time in acute rehab, the therapists, made it fun and rewarding. I came in to the hospital unable to walk and now I can walk independently, which was my goal. The food was so good, and the service was excellent. My pain medication was always on time. My room was clean and straighten up daily. I was treated like a king, like their only patient. I would definitely recommend this facility. On a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being the best, I would give a 20.

The staff here is fantastic and took really good care of me. The PT & OT team worked patiently with me. I initially went into the facility unable to walk, but with their help I can walk comfortably with a walker. Nursing did a great job monitoring my pain and giving me medication as needed. The food options here are great as well. I highly recommend this facility and care team!
