The baba ganoush and hummus were super yummy - my favorite part of the meal! Lamb was tasty and went great with the rest of the plate, but the falafels were pretty dry 😞 The most disappointing though was the pita bread. I’m not sure if our pita was over baked, but it was way too dry and crispy and almost impossible to eat. Other tables’ pita bread looked good though. May or may not give it a second chance in the future🤔

This place is as authentic as it gets. Wow. Family from Jordan creating delicious delicacies right here in Brooklyn. The falafel was fabulous. Different then Israeli falafel and still so delicious. We also got the zatar bread and some Chummus. They are not afraid to use proper amounts of spice and flavor. The Chummus was absolutely real and delicious. Nothing else added. Creamy and perfection. The pita bread was perfectly cooked in their oven so much so that you want to touch it to your face. (if you don't know what I mean go there and you'll see) fluffy and pully and exactly the right amount of chewy. There's also a nice area out back to sit if you want. We got our food to go as it was a gorgeous day. We will most certainly visit again when we are in the area. Also we checked out with the loveliest man (unsure if owner) who chatted with us about our trip to Jordan and was so pleased we were trying his food. This place is awesome.

We had lunch here and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the decoration - it was really warm and nice. The service was really great - the girls working there are extremely kind with everyone. They make you feel at peace only talking to them. I loved their way of communicating with guests very respectful. We ordered lentil soup - Merguez sandwich and a chicken plate - the food was good especially the soup - the chicken was a bit strong but for some people it might be acceptable. Don’t hesitate to get the traditional bread- it was the best I have ever tasted. I recommend this place very much for its kind atmosphere.

Great quiet patio in the back for outdoor dining. Service was nice. All the food was pretty quick and very tasty. Card is accepted but might pay a fee. Cash is preferred.

I lived down the street from Bedouin Tent from 2006 - 2010 and it was always my go to local spot. I have some left NYC but everytime I come back, which is 5-6x a year, I always try to pay homage to this neighborhood eatery. Since I'm mostly vegetarian these days, my go to is the 5 Salad assortment, the fresh pita and a Turkish coffee and sometimes I'll add their delicious falafel or their cold mint tea (so refreshing!). This place set the bar for what a fresh pita tastes like, soft and full of air, I mean they have a dedicated pita guy who makes fresh pitas day and night, and it's nonstop! I absolutely love the babaganoush and when I used to eat meat, the chicken ouza was my thing. Excellent, fresh ingredients, love this spot!

Very cute place with outdoor seating, good food and fair price. Can bring your own wine and beer.. I gave 4 stars cause its cash only and nowhere is a sign for it...people would come prepared instead of awkward moments when they get the check or feeling forced to use an ATM machine. Put it on the menu at least!

My partner and I got the Falafel Plate, Chicken Plate, and a Pitza. Honestly, the plates were MEH. Falafel has good crust flavor, but not even lukewarm inside, texture is pretty crumbly, and just dry overall. Very underwhelming and honestly disappointing. Chicken was pretty dry too. Pita is very thin and crunchy, if you would like fluffy pita this is not quite the place for it. The hummus and baba ganoush weren’t bad but again nothing to write home about. The saving grace here is hands down the Pitza. Highly recommend getting any of the pitzas. They take longer to get to your table, but they’re fresh and pretty tasty! Probably won’t come here again, but give the Pitzas a try. (They’re also pretty well priced.)

Fantastic Middle Eastern restaurant serving delicious regional dishes. All the food is made fresh and in house, including the pita which one can observe at the front of the restaurant. The dining room is located in the back, and is adorned with fabrics and light fixtures transporting one outside of Brooklyn. Did I also mention the food is delicious?!

This review is for delivery. The extra order of pita bread is similar to the tortilla rolls you buy in a grocery store (pretty certain they are the same). Flat, dry, tasteless, just not good. Not fluffy under any circumstance, regardless of heating method. Babaganoush is okay, hummus is really good.

I went there today for lunch, it was so good! I got the lentil soup that came with that fresh pita in the picture, then got the kebbe plate to share and it’s the best kebbe I’ve had in my life so far, it was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, the flavor was great and it came with salad and a choice of babbaganoush, hummus or rice. The service was great, it wasn’t too crowded yet, but totally recommend.

Have been coming here for 10+ years and finally writing a review. This place is a gem. You walk right into the pita making. Ovens and dough right there at the entrance. Takeout is fast, efficient, and with friendly service. Most orders are done in 5 min or less. If you choose to dine in, you're escorted to a nice dining room and a beautiful courtyard (weather permitting). Settle in for an excellent array of apps and salads which are excellent for sharing with a table. Prices are more than reasonable, food is authentic, and I keep going back regularly because it's delicious. One of my top spots in Bklyn 10 years running. Keep up the good work you wonderful establishment.

Great cozy restaurant in Brooklyn. Highlight was the proper amount of salt and oil in their dishes compared to other restaurants in New York. Much healthier food.

Got the falafel plate , great portion for its price, puffy pita ! The dine-in area is hidden at the back of kitchen with a little courtyard, cute !

The Hummus here is hand down one of the best ever. The bread is always hot out of the oven ,smokin, fluffy, soft. The falafel if crunchy on the outside, sofy and fluffy and smooth on the inside and just as smokin hot as the breads. The servers are very friendly and accomodating. Usually veru packed around 11 am to 1pm No air conditioning last I was there Extremely hot in the summer Im a vegetarian but even the meat options are tops, (feedback from non vegetarian friends). Parking may be difficult to get

The home made bread is so delicious and the lamb pita wraps are truly excellent! There's something extraordinary about the home made mayo they have - I can't figure out why it's so good. The hummus is very yummy, too. For vegans, I recommend the lentil soup - they serve it with a little lemon wedge, and I suggest adding a bit of extra olive oil, too. I love how authentic and homey this place is, in a neighborhood that's changing so fast. Grateful that it's here - please try it!

Bedouin Tent is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Food is amazing, there are so many great things to get yet the lentil soup and pita bread might be my favorite dish ever. Service is excellent, servers are so friendly and helpful, food came right away too. Inside is so nice with the decor and music, and there’s a great outdoor area as well. Been going here before I was old enough to remember and will forever continue to go

Super friendly and great tasting! Came here for lunch and got some flatbreads and a chicken plate. Food was well seasoned, came out got and fresh, and the staff checked in that we had everything we needed.

Very delicious homemade food. Their pita bread is made fresh in-house and it shows. Further if you actually make it to the shop they're very gracious hosts and sometimes serve tea while you wait for your order. Definitely recommend, you'll be glad you tried it.

We went there with a group of friends and we had the best time! The food is delicious, excellent quality, and the people are warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Middle Eastern food, and it is great for large groups or celebrations.

Great place. Super friendly and helpful. Great food and fast turn around. Walked in and ordered a meal to go, was ready in about 10 minutes. If I had time, the back garden area looked very nice to have dinner. Next time I am in Brooklyn , I will come back!!

Love this place. I could eat soup and bread here every week. Very cool back room, which the front betrays with a simple and cozy pizza shop/deli feel. The price is great too. It's a good date spot if you're trying to impress someone while saving money.

Go-to for a quick, tasty and inexpensive dinner. Great for dine in or take out. They have BYOB, which is rare. Recommend the merguez platter or the assorted salad (you can pick any five and it makes for a light meal)

No frills. Great food, and they make every pita fresh to order. The falafel has the most delicious spice blend that I haven’t had anywhere else. We usually order: falafel wrap or plate, baba ganoush, turkish coffee, mint tea. Extremely friendly service and even the guys making take away orders at the front greet you with a smile. I used to live in the area and some of the servers still even remember my order, almost a year after I have been back to eat here. Tons of vegetarian and vegan options. Not to mention, two mains and an app will cost you about $30 total. Nice outdoor seating as well. Highly recommend! BYOB.

Excellent service, excellent food, and everything came out so quick! I loved watching them make the homemade pita bread. Also incredibly affordable. Will definitely be back.

We arrived just before closing so we experienced a few hiccups. The owners were so sweet and fixed the small issues. The grape leaves are incredible and the hummus is awesome. I wish the pita were a little thicker but that's a personal preference. Next time I'll arrive earlier.

This is one of my partner's family's favorite spots in their area. It has grown on me quite a bit in the time I have been having it with them. The chicken is always good, but their hummus and pita are just fantastic. Affordable too

Not only is the food delicious but also the atmosphere, as soon as you walk through the door, makes you feel as though you've stepped into the Mediterranean of ancient times. The scenery was very relaxing.

This place has become my go to lunch spot. The service is great and fast and the food is sooooo delicious, and apparently everyone else agrees. The lentil soup is so so good and the grilled chicken plate comes with a perfectly seasoned chicken. Can’t go wrong!

Came in around 3pm and sat down immediately (nice). Got the chicken plate. Chicken came in very bland and dry. I was surprised it was colored brown because it had no flavor. The salad had the stems of the lettuce and was wet without any dressing. Bread was ok but nothing special. My friend said the pizza was pretty good. I didn't try it so no comment. Service was great. Restaurant was pretty and quiet so great atmosphere.

What happened to the green pizza??? This is what I got today. It is no longer green folks. I was very disappointed. I used to come here years ago and this pizza was one of the best things I ever ate.

  • 5/5 Nick R. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing experience overall, from the food to the service to the ambience. The sun dried tomato pizza was to die for, along with the garlic bread and falafel plate. All that good food for a relatively low price for the area. Will definitely be back!

  • 4/5 Rebecca J. 1 year ago on Google
Soup is unexpectedly delicious! Not the brown lentil stuff but yellow and flavoring. All the food is well done and the service is great. Kind of kitschy. Prices are very affordable

Best place to have Mediterranean food! We ordered their famous lamb pitza the lamb was perfect! Absolutely melted in our mouth and the spice was perfect! We also ordered sun dried tomatoes pitza and the falafel sandwich which were amazing too. They also served a home made sauce with the falafel which was yumm. Good and quick service and very polite people! Absolute must try!!
