I truly wanted to like this place but I don't and if you want to have any flexibility in your life then I don't recommend you becoming a member either. I recently lost my job and I am not able to cancel my membership because the only option is that I need to declare bankruptcy and show them the legal paperwork. The class times are not great for someone who *was* working so I was unable to use my 8 classes a month most of the time. I was hoping for 6am classes and communicating this to the GM since September and they kept saying "management knows and we are working on it, we need to find the people to teach them". Well it's February basically now and there are still no early classes. I wish I had the hindsight to cancel after my 30 day trial. The classes are very specific to martial arts. They want to teach you correct form and if you are messing up then they will correct you. This is good and all but honestly after a long day and during this PM class (only time I could go) you kinda just want to hit the bag, get some cardio done and be left alone. So now I have about 9 months left on my contract and I am going to dread going but I have to. Otherwise I'd be wasting money when I could be somewhere else that understands the need to be a little more flexible with their members. I reached out to the team to let them that I lost my job and it took 5 days to get back to me (in that time the full month charged my card) member services manager just reiterated what the contract states in an email. In addition, the GM knows that the times don't work for me. - To get to the point, if you want flexibility in your life and you aren't a serious boxer - don't become a member here. I really don't like leaving negative reviews but I have no other idea how to get through to this company. Holding people to a year contract when they aren't happy and have lost their jobs is utterly insensitive and it blows my mind that the owner thinks this is the way you should still do business.

Not the best. Took the free boxing course. No warmup so I ended up injuring my shoulder and calf (nothing serious). The "teacher" was on his phone the whole time and I got more coaching from other students than the employee that I only interacted with twice in 45 minutes. Then afterwards I tried to leave but they wouldn't let me until I was given the pitch to join. It's over $200 if you want to pay month to month or more than $150 month if you sign up for a full year. Neither of these cover the $199 activation fee that pays for gloves and tape but they will graciously reduce to $99 if you make a quick decision while you're riding high on endorphins. That's not an OUTRAGEOUS price but for an injury riddled, low coaching environment? I'll just watch YouTube videos and run on a treadmill. I won't be as good a boxer but I'll have thousands of dollars and more coaching than if I joined.

Coach Buddha is by far the best boxing coach I have ever trained under. Not only his attention to detail on technique but his ability to push you past what you think you are capable of really stands out. He has built a very strong boxing program and boxing team at X3 sports. If you want to learn how to box and get an incredible workout come see coach Buddha.

I feel more comfortable and welcomed at X3 Sports than I have at any gym previously. I enjoy the boxing classes with Coach Ali; he asks students to work hard, but he also helps students modify exercises to their skill level and physical capacity. I didn't come into his classes as a skilled or experienced boxer, but I'm improving, and Coach Ali has supported & encouraged me throughout. I also like how clean & pleasant the facilities are as well as how friendly & helpful the desk staff is every single time come in.

A fun and motivating place to get real results! I love X3 and highly recommend it for anyone wanting to find a smaller gym where you can be challenged and motivated. I’ve been coming here for years now and it’s like my second family. The trainers are great and the have a number of different types of classes available. Be prepared to sweat and have a great time while doing it!

I love everyone at this gym, and consider them family! Dwayne is so helpful with technique in Kickboxing and Muay Thai. I have learned so much from him! Johnny is one of those coaches that you can tell truly cares about everyone in his class. He has taught me so much in BJJ, and I'm excited to continue with his support! Andrew is a phenomenal trainer in cardio and strength training, and has been at the gym since the beginning of my journey there. He has so much knowledge and experience! Being part of this gym is more than just a membership. You make lasting friendships here, and that is all the more motivation to keep showing up.

Excellent facility with very clean, high-quality equipment. The boxing classes are textbook round-based sessions balancing endurance, technique and strength.

Long-time legacy member. The facilities and trainers are top notch. I have lost 37 lbs thanks to their trainers. One trainer, in particular, has been amazing and that is Dwayne Loudermilk. He is empathetic but solid at making sure you understand the fundamentals and have FUN too. I need someone constantly pushing me in my workouts and I have seen positive mental and physical results from X3 North Marietta.

I joined X3 about a year ago, I have nothing but good things to say. I’ve been training Muay Thai under Dwayne Loudermilk. Dwayne is extremely knowledgeable and helpful instructor and has made my Muay Thai experience incredible. Everybody at the gym is awesome.

I was a member here for a few months but they seem to be struggling from a leadership standpoint. I decided to cancel. A lot of these great reviews are for coaches who have left in the last few months. Its unfortunate because if they could consistently deliver on their offerings it could actually be worth the price they charge for membership.

Definitely a great place to learn martial arts. The membership is pricey but worth it. I would recommend this place to anyone, beginner or pros. The boxing classes are wonderful and intense. Great workout. Couch Nandi is a great coach if you wish to do boxing. He pushes you to your limits and teaches you well with respect.

I had already done all I could do with my home workout routine. I wanted a skill I could put my time/energy towards. I decided that I would commit to boxing. I cannot express how it has helped me both physically and mentally. I am the type of Individual that has rediculous amounts of energy and it ends up taking form as anxiety. Since starting boxing I've seen that fade away dramatically. I have been hard at work with coach Buddha, dedicated to going into every X3 class I can and it has payed off. I started off completely helpless and not knowing proper movement or how to throw a punch. Coach helped me to correct my form, and now I am to the point where I have a really good foundation and just need to focus on improving. Big thanks to everyone at X3 . Its a great place to learn MMA or boxing, workout, and build friendships.

It has taken me a long time to get back into a fitness routine since I had my daughter during the pandemic. Every time I’d try something new I’d start strong and eventually give up. Working out at X3 has given me the confidence to stay on track and live a healthier life for my daughter.

I like the variety of sports you can take. The fact that there are several locations which encourages you to commit to going to a class (coming from work or home). The instructors are helpful, patient, and friendly. I'm sure there are many more good things to list but I just started.

In short: Not just for free weights or mats. Don’t let the cost of membership scare you. Unrivaled value. If you show up for classes with a will to learn, the coaches here will lead you to success. Recommend for beginners of any training area (Especially weight training). X3 may not be for EVERYONE. However if you’re looking for training in any area X3 offers, and you come with the ability to engage with your coach and ask questions, the value is unrivaled. This isn’t just a free weights/mats gym. My experience at North Marietta has been amazing for my ~5 months of strength training. While the facility is small for one given focus (say weights or boxing), you still have all the tools you need to succeed. Plus, the smaller class sizes make it easier to engage with your coach. With the recently expanded club hours, I’ve found the facility to be useful even outside the scheduled classes. So if it’s one of THOSE days because of work/school, I can likely find a time to come in and train.

My whole family works out here! We absolutely love the instructors and classes offered. Especially this new class “fight & flow”! I can take as many classes as I like, as many days a week as I like! I recommend this gym to everyone and their families!

North Marietta X.3 sports was absolutely phenomenal. Coach Jack is always helpful and always has a smile and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Johnny Jitsu and his instructional BJJ class was out of this world. This is a world class institution. Staff is professional, facility is spotless, and most of all you feel welcomed.

This is a serious gym, the trainers won’t let you goof around like in other gyms. My teenage son started in the kids boxing class and is now in Youth/Adult Boxing. All the instructors seem top notch, they love what they do, people come here to really work out and learn. Plus, the music they play is great. Coach Buddha is fantastic and a great motivator!

Really enjoying this gym (North Marietta) and the people and coaches. Everyone is friendly and supportive. My Husband does the Brazilian Jujitsu, my kids do the boxing and BJJ classes, and I have been doing the Power Track (weight lifting) class. Definitely family friendly. Even our 3 year old finds something to do either imitating me while lifting, or playing with the other young ones. I love having the kids grow up going to a gym everyday and working hard. It’s so important. The facility is clean, organized, and maintained. One little thing that I think would be amazing is if there where mirrors in front of the squat racks in the weight training area of the North Marietta Gym. It would really help to “see” and “feel” what you are doing and what your form looks like. It would really really help me and I think many others who aren’t as experienced. Pretty please? Great gym. Go there

Coach Nandi Buddha Ali is by far the best coach I have ever had let alone best boxing coach. He pushes you so you can unlock your potential and is an all around great guy. Also has a great sense of humor, great guy, would recommend to anyone looking for boxing/fitness!

Coach Buddha is an amazing boxing coach. He has a way of sitting back and really analyzing everyone in the class. If he sees something wrong he’ll point it out in an encouraging way and not make you feel stupid. If you’re doing it right he’ll also let you know and encourage you to keep doing what you’re doing. He’s very welcoming to new comers and sometimes has his more experienced students help the new guys out 1 on 1. He has a wide variety of drills and methods to practice every technique used in boxing. I’ve been coming for almost a month and I have rarely done the same drill twice. Coach Buddha is amazing and very encouraging and motivating!
