    Absolutely terrible service from Dr AMEETH SANU The hospital itself is nice and the facilities are great but patient care is terrible. They lack any sort of communication skills and really have no empathy for people who need help. After a consultation I was quoted a price for a bilateral ear surgery and just before entering surgery I was told the price was only for 1 ear and the next operation would be a 6 month wait. All of this should be discussed in a consultation AMEETH SANU. Money and time has been wasted on appointments prior to the surgery date and I would never turn to a private hospital again for any treatment. Money is what they are in business for and patient care is clearly not on their priority list. The customer service personnel was the only nice part of it all, I don't know the staff members name but they could actually empathize with me, although they didn't even have a record of the the payments I had made for the pre surgery tests. The NHS and private care needs a good shake up because its staff are really dragging the reputation down, It has very little do with funding or capital but organisation, communication and patient care.

    3 days before the procedure, and they still can't give me formal final price for a private procedure!. Had one written price out of the three potential invoices, 12 days before the proposed procedure. Who on earth would commit to anything without firstly knowing how much you would be paying, in total? This is not without exhaustive efforts to chase down and beg for the final costs. They seemed confused why I decided to withdraw 3 days before the procedure, because of this? Very concerning lack of control/organisation/communication/customer care, etc. I stayed polite, and calm, but had to politely widthdraw. Obviously. Massive shame. Very disappointed. If this medical issue continues, I will most definitely be contacting an alternative provider.

    Simply wonderful. I've recently had major surgery at Sancta Maria, under Professor Bunkheila. From the reception staff to the Professor Bunkheila himself, everyone was just amazing. The lovely nurse who cooled me down with water after being ill from the anaesthetic, will forever stay in my mind. They really do have fabulously caring staff. I won't hesitate to use Sancta Maria again.

    My experience at HMT Sancta Maria hospital, from initial consultation through to undergoing surgery, was second to none. All staff members were friendly and polite, all areas were kept clean and maintained, and I was made to be comfortable during any of my visits. I would particularly like to thank Mr Hiew for his incredible performance with my medical procedure.

    Had a procedure with Dr hiew at sancta Maria. The staff there were really friendly and they made my whole stay and recovery very comfortable. However the result from the procedure (gynaecomastia surgery) is terrible. I tried speaking to the hospital of the process if unhappy with the results but they basically said it's between me and the surgeon and nothing to do with them (even though I paid ยฃ5k to sancta Maria not the surgeon). I expressed my severe dissatisfaction with the surgeon around 6 weeks after the procedure during my post surgery consultation, but he wasn't interested in fixing it he tried to convince me that it was a god result. He did not even address half the issue that I went there for surgery in the first place. Before the surgery he showed me a number of before and after photos... I noticed that he did not with to take an after photo. This demonstrates he was not genuinely pleased with the results. In summary, I need to have the same surgery performed again. The worst thing about it, I borrowed funds to pay for it. It is a huge regret that I had this done here. My confidence is perhaps lower than it was before and now it has caused anxiety and mental health issues that were not present prior to this surgery here. I would recommend travelling abroad. I know people personally, who have gone to Turkey and Poland for the same procedure. Their results are far better and an even greater transformation. It's also a fraction of the price. People go on about the after care here that makes it worth choosing to stay here for surgery, but there really is no after care. It's just like the fuel...it's the same product as in other countries but at a hugely inflated price.

    My experience in Sancta Maria hospital was absolutely great ! I had a plastic surgery with one night stay ! All staff were amazing since I arrived, reception staff friendly and helpful, big thank to lady (I think she is student ) her name is Hibo , she was was with me since I get in my ward , made me so calm and comfortable, we had so much laugh what helped me a lot before surgery ! My anesthetist James Leary super professional, he discussed everything with me before surgery , gave me confidence that Iโ€™m on right hands and he will look after me ! He checked how I feel after surgery and next day too ! Much appreciated! All staff were absolutely amazing and caring 10 of 10 and catering lady so kind and provide nice food what you can choose! Of course massive thanks to my plastic surgeon prof. Whitaker, very professional, kind and answer all your questions! Iโ€™m on recovery period now and still will have 2 after care appointments , hopefully itโ€™s will be same experience!

    An absolute fantastic hospital. I have used the old Sancta Maria previously, however their new hospital is what was needed. The staff are amazing coupled with the great facilities, rooms and service means your care is exceptional! A great big shout out and thank you to Mr Fenn and his staff along with my anaesthetist team and nursing team. You guys couldnโ€™t have done anything more. Quick, professional, reliable and overall outstanding healthcare. A credit to the private industry.

    After a slight mix up to begin with consultants and all staff were brilliant through some trying times (my body's fault). Friendly, approachable and explained in plain English which was refreshing. I'd recommend Sancta Maria if you needed the service.

    An excellent stay at the hospital. Initial appointments with consultant were very informative and reassuring. Day of surgery was smooth from arrival and discharge. Staff were helpful and friendly, from catering to the nurses, especially Lauren C and student nurse Geoffrey. Greatly appreciated.

    Was meant to have surgery here on 12 dec. had two consultations mri and physio pre asssesment and pre assessment ready for op with bloods. Was given a time to come in and an approx time for op. Day after they rung to cancel no explanation as to why it was cancelled at all just told me it was cancelled and Iโ€™m back on nhs waiting list. Two other hospital appointments cancelled along with a weekend holiday and other prior appointments. . Family arranged holidays so somebody was home with me after the operation. Really not happy after wasting four months going private id expect a better service than this from a so called private hospital. Iโ€™d expect a cancellation on the nhs due to the workload and strain theyโ€™re under but not from a private hospital when youโ€™re given a time and date. Totally totally unacceptable. To say Iโ€™m upset and disappointed is an understatement. Even Bupa canโ€™t get answers as to why the op has been cancelled. Especially after having all tests and mri there. Asked by D Fisher to email her so she can look into what the problem was /is have done this via her email address but still no answers. !!!

    Paid ยฃ200 for a consult and was seen over 2 hours later than scheduled, second receptionist I saw was very apologetic and explained that the system was at fault, regardless still a frustrating experience! Consultant was lovely and listened to all my concerns, I didn't feel rushed at all.

    I had phase 3 breast reconstruction with Mr Ghattura in October, heโ€™s such a lovely consultant and always puts me at ease. The hospital is pretty special - the staff from reception to ward to theatre were all amazing and made me feel at ease on the day of surgery . Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

    I had my consultation which I was very happy with Mr Amir Kambel. Then date given for operation. From start to finish of me arriving on the Saturday morning for my op and then departing on the Sunday I was looked after by such lovely staff. There was the friendly receptionist and the gentleman who took me up to the ward and then nurses on duty who cared for me whilst I waited to go down to theatre and the surgeon Mr Amir Kambal and the anaesthetist & assistant anaesthetist - Everyone made me feel as relaxed as possible and I felt like I was in very good hands and nothing was to much trouble. The surgeon had the chat with me just before op and itโ€™s a difficult conversation and has to mention any risks but his mannerism was calming and reassuring and he explained things in detail but in a way so I could understand. After operation I was a little unwell however I was monitored and looked after whilst being reassured I was ok. The empathetic attitude and patience of the nurses & staff was very much welcomed. The catering staff were also so accommodating and friendly. The Hospital is a wonderful modern building with a friendly atmosphere whilst being professional and a high standard of cleanliness. The private room I had was lovely and calming with a good size tv & your own bathroom and had a window with a view which looked out onto the landscaping outside which took my mind off things even if just for a little awhile. Ive had to ring the out patients just a few times with some questions post op after care and absolutely nothing is to much trouble with prompt help & advise. Had my follow up appointment promptly. Iโ€™d just like to say a very big warm Thankyou to Mr Amir Kambal.

    A great experience from the welcoming reception staff, ease of parking and excellent consultation with Mr Chris Davies. His friendly, but still professional manner, knowledge and expertise was so reassuring. I would definitely recommend him if you have any vascular issues .

    Looking at previous reviews, you phone and kept waiting for about 20 minutes, this happened to me. I paid for a vaccination because I have a frozen shoulder, did not work. I emailed them, they denied having this, but I know for certain they received it. So I went back to the hospital and was told they would look into more treatment. But guess what, they wanted more money. They did the job wrong, they should pay. Don't bother with them, they are a waste of space.

    My was paid to see a maxillofacial consultant at santa maria 2019 ยฃ150 what a waste of time and money spent we even went back a second time he wrongly diagnosed my wife only now is getting better had treatment out of the erea don't go here shop around first

    Sancta Maria was such a lovely hospital for my procedure. The staff from my consultant down to the ladies after recovery were fantastic and constantly making sure I was ok. The hospital is clean, welcoming and all members of staff were so friendly.

    What a wonderful experience i had at this stunning hospital when i had surgery. All the staff went above and beyond with the care i received. The room, meals and refreshments were all 5*. I didn't want to go home!! Thank you to you all. You are amazing ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

    Awfully run business. Getting through to even book an appointment or make an enquiry takes 20-30 minutes of being on hold, with a persistent message of 'we are experiencing high call volumes' with a queue position that takes forever to go down. For a place that's a private hospital, you shouldn't be expecting your customers to have to wait 20-30 minutes to speak to somebody. That initial contact says a lot about a company and you are really struggling with the basics.

    Attended an interview for nursing position. Complete silence after the interview despite being told they would contact me to let me know if I had got the position. No feedback, no communication whatsoever, ignored all my emails requesting feedback. Not impressed by this experience!

    The facilities are lovely...but the admin is seriously lacking. I'm constantly having to chase for appointments, paperwork is late or doesn't turn up at all. I was "missed" when I turned up for an ultrasound, even though I was 10mins early for my appointment I was seen 45mins late. Wouldn't go here again.

    Poor service. Quick to take your money upfront but planned surgery was cancelled the day before it was due. False information given as to the reasons why it was cancelled at short notice. Consultant went above and beyond to rectify situation at another hospital. Complaint made and no response. AVOID AT ALL COST......

    Had hip replacement April 2022 and still in pain 6months after operation. After paying ยฃ12k was told would need blood tests and Xrays at another expense luckily I was able to have on NHS was told nothing wrong with hip. Consultant has said he will see me in December. Need the other hip replaced but will not be contacting Sancta Maria
